This page provides step by step instructions to setting the sound and volume of Siren 6 sound used in Smart Home Monitor using the standard device handler by SmartThings and form part of the larger Siren 6 user guide.
SmartThings Home Monitor app can be used with Siren 6 to allow this device to act as a siren device in your network. Siren 6 has 9 controllable sound points which each can be adjusted individually, but when using SmartThings Home Monitor, it only utilizes the main/parent or endpoint 1 sound of Siren 6.
This guide will allow you to control what sound is played when SmartThings Home Monitor is triggered in an armed (stay) or armed (away) state.
There are 30 possible sounds that you can use which you can preview here: https://aeotec.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/6000223793-siren-6 -sound-previews-
