SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions thoroughly before using the product.
Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
– This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above, and persons with
reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge, as long as they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance
tasks should not be carried out by children.
– Keep this appliance and its power cord out of reach of children under the
age of 8.
– Supervise children, as they shall not play with the appliance.
– This product is exclusively designed for household use. It is not suitable
for commercial or industrial use.
– This symbol means “caution, hot surface”. The appliance’s accessible
surfaces may reach high temperatures during operation. Be careful not to burn
yourself.
– This appliance must not be operated with timers or external remote-control
system.
– Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the rating
label of the device and that the wall outlet is grounded.
– Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any other part of the appliance in water
or any other liquid or expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your
hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
– Place the appliance on an even, heat-resistant surface. Do not place the
device near heat sources, places with high humidity levels, or combustible
materials.
– Switch off and unplug the appliance from the mains when not in use for some
time and before moving it or cleaning it. Let it cool down completely before
cleaning. Do not leave the appliance plugged into an unattended mains socket.
– Inspect the power cord regularly for visible damage, especially the cord,
plug, and plug casing. Do not use the appliance if it’s damaged or does not
work properly, has been dropped, or damaged.
– If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced by Cicotte’s official Technical
Support Service to avoid any danger.
– Do not try to repair the device by yourself. Contact the official Technical
Support Service of Cerotic for advice.
– Any modification, other than normal cleaning and maintenance, must be
performed by the official Technical Support Service of Cerotic.
– Cerotic is not responsible for possible damages caused by an inappropriate
or unreasonable use.
– Do not twist, bend, pull, or damage the power cord. Protect it from sharp
edges and heat sources. Do not allow it to touch hot surfaces. Do not let the
cord hang over the edge of the working surface or worktop. The appliance’s
accessible surfaces may reach high temperatures during operation. Be careful
not to burn yourself.
– Make sure that your hands are dry when you touch the appliance, power cord,
or plug.
– Leave a minimum safety distance around the appliance. Do not cover the
appliance during use.
– The appliance should not be used in potentially dangerous locations, such as
flammable, explosive, chemical-laden, or wet atmospheres.

BEFORE USE
- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent product damage when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or not in good condition, immediately contact the Technical Support Service of Cerotic.
- Clean the pans and reversible plate with a soft, slightly damp cloth before using the appliance for the first time.
- Before using the device for the first time, operate it for 10 minutes without food. This will help removing the scent that the device emits when used for the first time. The device may also emit some smoke. Keep the room ventilated during this process.
OPERATION
- Always place the device on a flat, smooth, and stable surface.
- Connect the power cable to the appliance and plug the cable into a suitable socket.
- Turn the temperature control to maximum to heat up as quickly as possible. You can then adjust the temperature to a medium level.
- Grease the reversible plate with a little oil and cook the desired food when it has reached a suitable temperature. Do not cook marinated foods.
- Place the cheese in the pans and place them under the reversible plate.
- Once cheese is to your liking, remove the pan.
- To switch off the appliance, turn the temperature control to the left and unplug the product from the socket. Allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.
Precaution:
Do not leave the appliance idle for a long time. Turn it off during long
breaks and turn it on again when needed.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Unplug the appliance from the mains and let it cool down before cleaning it.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquid.
- You can clean all surfaces with a damp cloth. Soap can be used in case of food remains.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or sharp utensils.
- Both the reversible plate and the frying pans are dishwasher safe. However, to ensure the non-stick coating correct performance, we recommend washing it by hand.
Warning:
All surfaces that have come into contact with food must be cleaned after use.
