Product Information
The Quick Guide Floor heating thermostat (ECO16BTD) is a device designed to control the temperature of a floor heating system. It features LED indicators, an adjustment wheel, and a Bluetooth button for easy operation. The thermostat is manufactured by Ensto Building Systems Finland Oy.
LED Indicators:
- Indicator A:
- Blue flashing: Bluetooth pairing is in progress
- Blue static: temperature change is activated
- Blue flashing fast: resetting to factory defaults
- Indicator B:
- Green: the thermostat is on and the heating is off
- Red: the heating is on
Adjustment Wheel:
The adjustment wheel is used to set the desired temperature. Turning it
clockwise increases the temperature, while turning it counter-clockwise
decreases the temperature.
Bluetooth Button:
The Bluetooth button, located at the center of the adjustment wheel, allows
for additional functionality. Pressing down the button initiates specific
actions indicated by LED flashes, including identifying a faulty floor sensor.

Product Usage Instructions
To use the Quick Guide Floor heating thermostat, follow these steps:
- Ensure that the thermostat is properly installed and connected to the floor heating system.
- Power on the thermostat. The LED indicator B should turn green, indicating that the thermostat is on and the heating is off.
- Adjust the temperature by turning the adjustment wheel. Turning it clockwise increases the temperature, while turning it counter-clockwise decreases the temperature.
- If you want to pair the thermostat with a Bluetooth device, make sure the LED indicator A is flashing blue. Follow the instructions in the full user manual for Bluetooth pairing.
- If you wish to reset the thermostat to its factory defaults, press down the Bluetooth button until the LED indicator A starts flashing fast in blue. Refer to the full user manual for further guidance on resetting.
- To identify a faulty floor sensor, press down the Bluetooth button. If the LED indicators A and B flash alternately in blue and red, it indicates a faulty floor sensor. Contact Ensto Building Systems Finland Oy for assistance.
