Product Usage Instructions

1. The module is intended for industry/commercial use and must be professionally installed.
2. The module should only be installed in mobile applications.
3. Ensure installation is controlled and conducted by personnel with special training.
4. Follow FCC rule parts CFR 47 FCC Part 15 C (15.247, DTS and DSS) and CFR 47 FCC Part 15 E (NII) when assessing the module.
5. Only use the integrated PCB antenna provided with the module. Using any other antenna requires filing an application for a new system-specific FCC ID.
6. Comply with FCC Part 15.247 / Part 15.407 for limited module approval.
7. Install and operate the equipment with a minimum distance of 20cm between the radiator and the body.
8. Do not co-locate or operate the transmitter in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.
9. Take note of the antenna type (PCB) and maximum antenna gain (1.5 dBi) for BLE/2.4G WIFI/5G WIFI. The PCB antenna is permanently attached and cannot be replaced.
10. If the FCC identification number is not visible after installation, ensure the outside of the device displays a label referring to the enclosed module (e.g., Contains FCC ID: 2ADAP-GRJWB05J6).
11. The host product manufacturer is responsible for compliance with other FCC rules. A C2PC is required for each host when installed in any host.
12. If installing the modular in multiple simultaneously transmitting conditions or different operational conditions, consult with the module manufacturer for the installation method in the end system.
13. For best practice RF design engineering testing and evaluation, follow the D04 Module Integration Guide recommended by the host manufacturer in case of non-linear interactions generating additional non-compliant limits due to module placement to host components or properties.

This module has been assessed against the following FCC rule parts : CFR 47 FCC Part 15 C (15.247, DTS and DSS) and CFR 47 FCC Part 15 E (NII). It is applicable to the modular transmitter.

This radio transmitter FCC ID : 2AC232AC23-WL3H has been approved by Federal Communications
Commission to operate with the integrated PCB antenna. Use of any other antenna is strictly prohibited without filing an application for a new system- specific FCC ID.
The module complies with FCC Part 15.247 / Part 15.407 and applies for limited module approval.

Installation Guidance
The final host / module combination may also need to be evaluated against the FCC Part 15B criteria for unintentional radiators in order to be properly authorized for operation as a Part 15 digital device. The user’s manual or instruction manual for an intentional or unintentional radiator shall caution the user that changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment. In cases where the manual is provided only in a form other than paper, such as on a computer disk or over the Internet, the information required by this section may be included in the manual in that alternative form, provided the user can reasonably be expected to have the capability to access information in that form. To ensure compliance with all non-transmitter functions the host manufacturer is responsible for ensuring compliance with the module(s) installed and fully operational. For example, if a host was previously authorized as an unintentional radiator under the Declaration of Conformity procedure without a transmitter certified module and a module is added, the host manufacturer is responsible for ensuring that the after the module is installed and operational the host continues to be compliant with the Part 15B unintentional radiator requirements. Testing of the host product with all the transmitters installed – referred to as the composite investigation test- is recommended, to verify that the host product meets all the applicable FCC rules. The radio spectrum is to be investigated with all the transmitters in the final host product functioning to determine that no emissions exceed the highest limit permitted for any one individual transmitter as required by Section 2.947(f). Detail instructions from the module manufacturer
Separate approval is required for all other operating configurations, including portable configurations with respect to Part 2.1093 and different antenna configurations.

• The module is limited to OEM installation only.
• The OEM integrator is responsible for ensuring that the end-user has manual instructions to remove or install the module.
• Must use the device only in host devices that meet the FCC/ISED RF exposure category of mobile, which means the device is installed and used at distances of at least 20 cm from persons.
• The end user manual shall include FCC Part 15 /ISED RSS GEN compliance statements related to the transmitter as shown in this manual.
• The host product manufacturer is responsible for compliance with any other FCC rules and a C2PC is required for each host when installed in any host.
• The host product manufacturer is responsible for compliance with any other ISED rules and a C4PC is required for each host when installed in any host.
• Any company of the host device that installs this modular should perform the test of radiated and conducted emission and spurious emission etc. according to FCC Part 15C: 15.247 and 15.209 & 15.207, 15B class B requirement, only if the test result complies with FCC part 15C: 15.247 and 15.209 & 15.207, 15B class B requirement. Then the host can be sold legally.

• Refer to the minimum antenna gain requirements and antenna type (PCB) that are approved for use with this module detailed in the previous sections. The use of other antennas will require additional certification procedures for the host system with FCC and ISED Canada.
