What’s required

DOWNLOAD THE APP

Download the Deep Sentinel app from the App Store or Google Play™M Open the app and follow the Instructions.

SELECI A PLACE FOR THE HUB

Consider the following when evaluating Hub placement:

  • Put the Hub in a central location in your home.
  • The Hub must be connected by an Ethernet Cable to your WIFI Router.
  • Put the Hub in a raised position (not on the floor).
  • Avold large appliances and sources of signal interference.

CONNECI THE HUB

  • Connect the Hub to an available outlet with the included Power Supply.
  • Connect the Hub to the Router or Ethernet Switch with the included Ethernet Cable.

The Hub light will turn on solld green. This might take a minute or two.

CHARGE THE SPARE BATTERY

  • Remove the lid from the top of the Hub.
  • Insert the Included spare battery. The Hub light will blink 3 times when charging starts.
  • Put the lld back onto the Hub.

CONNECT THE CAMERA

  • Twist the battery door anti-clockwise and open the compartment.
  • Insert a battery with the terminals facing into the compartment Close the battery compartment and turn clockwise to lock.
  • When prompted by the app, press the Camera button.

VERIFY SIGNAL STRENGTH

  • Go outside and hold the Camera where you plan to mount It.
  • Use the app to check the number of bars in the signal strength Icon.
  • If the signal is weak, try different positions.
  • Sometimes moving by a few feet can Improve the signal.

CAMERA POSITIONING GUIDELINES

Aim for side-to-side traffic
Place the Camera so that side-to-side traffic crosses the fled of view. The motion sensor Is faster and more sensitive to side-to-side motion.

Recommended height and angle

Keep the field of view clear
For best night vision, avoid overhangs or obstructions. These may reflect the Camera’s I Illumination and affect nighttime vision.

Consider the surroundings
Busy roads, large branches and flags can drain the Camera battery. Try to aold in the fleld of vlew.

INSTALL THE MOUNT
Slide open to reveal the mounting hole.

ATTACH THE CAMERA

  • Slide the Camera into the mount until it clicks into position.
  • Check the orlentation of the Camera, the lens should be at the botton and the speaker at the top.
  • When prompted, use the app to adjust the protection zone.

REQUEST FOR RESPONSE
To test your connection with a Live Sentinel Guard, make this signal with your hands in front of the Camera and walt for a response.

RF Exposure Statement

The equipment shall be installed to provide a minimum separation distance of 20 cm between the radiating part and the user to ensure compliance with the AF Exposure requirements.

However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. I this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

  • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
  • Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
