INTRODUCTION

o Thank you for purchasing the Power Probe TEMPKIT Dual Zone Thermometer with Wireless Remote Temperature Sensor.
o Please read through this manual in it’s entirety to fully enjoy the benefits and features of this product.
o The TEMPKIT has a built in temp sensor in the Base unit, plus a 2″ Remote unit temp sensor that transmits the Remote unit temperature reading back to the Base unit.
o The Remote temp sensor can transmit temperature readings up to 5 m (16.5 ft.) away from Base unit.
o Monitor temperature differences — Ambient vs. refrigeration outlet, Inside vs. Outside Temperatures, and more.
o Use moveable clip to attach Remote to air vents or grilles to monitor outlet temps.
o Please keep this manual for future reference.

OPERATION

  1. Remove battery cover from rear of Base unit.
  2. Install two (2) AA batteries into battery cavity and replace battery cover.
  3. Press Base unit Power button for one sec. to turn ON/OFF.
  4. LCD display will show current temperature of Base unit Temp Sensor above the display.
  5. Remove battery cover from rear of Remote unit
  6. Install two (2) AAA batteries into battery cavity and replace battery cover.
  7. Slide Remote unit Power switch to the ON position. Indicator Light should flash.
  8. When paired, Remote unit temperature will display on Base unit second line.
  9. Press Backlight button to turn LCD backlight ON/OFF.
  10. Press °C/°F button to change the Base unit display reading from Fahrenheit to Celsius.
  11. Press the Remote Select button to select optional second Remote unit.
  12. If signal is lost, power the Base unit Off then On to reacquire.

Power Probe products undergo a strict quality control inspection for workmanship.
