HOW TO USE

  1.  Wipe or dip the probe with ethyl alcohol for disinfection.

  2. Push the On/Off button. The LCD will show 188.8% for 2 seconds and you will hear a beep simultaneously. Last tested temperature will be shown such as 98.6°F (37°C). After Lo°F (Lo˚C) sign shows.
    Switching °F and °C: During off status, press and hold the on/off button for about 3 seconds, and when you hear the “Bi”, immediately press the button again.

  3.  Position the probe in mouth, rectum, armpit etc.

  4. Once the temperature-talking is finished, the degree sign of °F (°C) on the LCD will stop flashing, and you will hear buzzes in approx 10 seconds.
    The tested temperature is shown on LCD. During after the test, if the test temperature is <89.6°F or 32°C,the LCD shows Lo°F (Lo˚C); 109.4°F or 42.9°C, the LCD shows Hi°F (or Hi˚C). the temperature is out of measurement range, “Err” will be shown. After temperature-talking, if the tested temperature is <100.0°F or 37.8°C, the buzzes are BiBi–BiBi–BiBi–BiBi; if the tested temperature is >=100.0°F or 37.8°C, the buzzes whose frequency are much higher are BIBIBIBI–BIBIBIBI- BİBİBİBİ

  5. The thermometer will automatically turnoff in about 10 minutes for energy saving. However, to prolong the battery life, it is suggested to press On/Off button to turn the thermometer off once the test is finished.

  6. Please dispose exhausted battery and thermometer according to the relevant law.

How to use it better?

  1. Push the On/Off Button
  2. LCD will Show 188.8%
  3. LCD will Show the Last-Test Temperature Such as 98.6°F (37°C)
  4. Lo°F Sign Shows up

Note: Please Start the Measurement after Lo°F (Lo˚C) Sign Shows Don’t Touch the Sensing Probe with Your Hands Before LoF (Lo C) Sign Shows

Note: In step 2,if the room temperature is higher than 89.6°F (32°C), LCD will display the room temperature instead of Lo°F( or Lo˚C)

Note:
Use of the probe cover may result in a 0.2°F (0.1°C) discrepancy from actual temperature.

ORAL USE
Put the probe into either position marked by” ” as showed in the picture right-hand for about 10-20 seconds.

To insure the accuracy. please keep mouth close for 5 minutes before taking temperature. The normal temperature by this method is 96.3°F-99.2°F (35.7-37.3°C)

RECTAL USE
Lubricate the probe with the petroleum jelly for easier insertion.
Gently insert the probe about one centimeter (less than 1/2 inch.) Into The Patient’s rectum for about 10-20 seconds.
The normal temperature by this method is 96.3°F-99.2°F (35.7-37.3°C).

AXILLARY USE
Wipe the underarm with a dry towel. Place probe into the armpit and keep the arm firmly against the body side for about 10-20 seconds. The normal temperature by this method is 95.4°F-98.6°F (35.2°C-37.0).

CLEANING AND DISINFECTION

  1. Clean thermometer by wiping it with a dry cloth and sterilize the probe with ethyl alcohol.
  2. Don’t let thermometer contact any chemical thinner. *Not completely waterproof. Do not soak the LCD in water, Only the probe is waterproof.

PRECAUTION

  • Do not drop ther mometer,it is not shock proof
  • Do not bend thermometer
  • Do not boil the probe
  • Do not store thermometer in direct sunlight
  • Do not attempt to disassemble thermometer except replacing the battery

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

  1. When the appears in the lower right corner of the LCD, the battery is exhausted and needs replacement.
  2. Pull the battery cover off with hand in the direction shown below.
  3. Gently pull out the circuit board with battery chamber approximately 1 cm
  4. Use pointed object such as a pen to take out the exhausted battery.
  5. Discard exhausted battery out of the children. 6.Place a new 1.55v D.C. button size battery type SR41, UCC392 or LR41 or equivalent in the chamber with positive pole on top.
  6. Cover the battery.

LIMITED WARRANTY

The thermometer is guaranteed for one year form the date of purchase, if the thermometer does not functions properly due to defective components or poor workmanship, we will repair or replace it free of charge. All components are covered by this warranty excluding the battery. The warranty does not cover damages to your thermometer due to improper handing.
