The Digital Thermometer provides quick, highly accurate readings of your temperature. Please read the instructions thoroughly. If the thermometer is used by a child, the supervision of the adults is compulsory. This thermometer is manufactured according to the system of EN12470-3, ASTM, and complies with the requirements of IEC 60601-1, and IEC 60601-1-2.

HOW TO USE

  1. Wipe or dip the probe with ethyl alcohol for disinfection.
  2. Push the On/Off button. The LCD will show 188.8: for 2 seconds and you will hear a beep simultaneously)’ The last tested temperature will be shown for about 2 seconds. After that Lo’C(Lo’F) sign shows(if the room temperature < 32’C (90.0’F) ).
  3. Position the probe in the mouth, rectum, armpit, etc.
  4. Once the temperature-talking is finished, the degree sign of ‘C(‘F)on the LCD will stop flashing, and you will hear buzzes for approx.10 seconds. The tested temperature is shown on the LCD. When the ‘C(‘F) stops flashing if the probe is still in the mouth, rectum, or armpit ,the temperature is possibly rising too, so after hearing the buzzes, you’d better take out it 1-2 minutes later. After the test, if the test temperature is <32’C or 90.0’F, the LCD shows Lo’C(Lo’F); if the tested temperature is >42.9’C or 109.9’F, the LCD shows Hi ‘C(Hi’F). After temperature-talking,if the tested temperature is <37.5’C or <99.S’F and, the buzzes are BiBi—BiBi—BiBi—BiBi and the screen shows green; if the tested temperature is 2:37.5’C and<37.8’C or 2:99.S’F and <100.0’F, the buzzes are BiBi–BiBi–BiBi–BiBi and the scieen shows yellow; if the tested temperature is 2:37.B’C or 100.0’F, the buzzes whose frequency are much higher are BiBi–BiBi–BiBi–BiBi and the screen shows red.
  5. The thermometer will automatically turn off in about 4 minutes for energy­saving. However, to prolong the battery life, it is suggested to press the On/Off button to turn the thermometer off once the test is finished.
  6. Please dispose exhausted battery and thermometer according to the relevant law.
  • Note: ln step 2 , if the room temperature is higher than 32’C(90.0’F), LCD will display the room temperature instead of Lo’C( or Lo’F)
  • Note: Use of the probe cover may result in a 0.1 ‘C(0.2’F)discrepancy from the actual temperature/.

ORAL USE

  • Put the probe into either position marked by ” √” as shown in the picture right-hand for about 1 minute. To insure accuracy, please keep your mouth closed for 5 minutes before taking your temperature. The normal temperature by this method is 35.7-37.3°C(96.3°F-99.2°F)

RECTAL USE

  • Lubricate the probe with petroleum jelly for easier insertion. Gently insert the probe about one centimeter(less than 1/2 inch.)Into THE Patient’s rectum, The normal temperature by this method is 36.5°C-37.6°C(97.7°F-99.7°F)

AXILLARY USE

  • From a medical viewpoint, this method will always provide inaccurate reading, Wipe the armpit with a dry towel. Place the probe into the armpit and keep the arm firmly against the body side for about 1.5 minutes, The normal temperature by this method is 35.2°C-37.0(95.4°F-98.6°F)

CLEANING AND DISINFECTION

  1. Clean the thermometer by wiping it with a dry cloth and sterilize the probe with ethyl alcohol
  2. Don’t let the thermometer contact any chemical thinner Not completely waterproof.
  3. Do not soak the LCD in water, Only the probe is waterproof.

PRECAUTION

  • Do not drop the thermometer, it is not shockproof
  • Do not bend the thermometer
  • Do not boil the probe
  • Do not store the thermometer in direct sunlight
  • Do not attempt to disassemble the thermometer except by replacing the battery

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

  1. When the “ “appears in the lower right corner of the LCD, the battery is exhausted and needs replacement.
  2. Use an object such as a coin to rotate the battery cover. Discard the exhausted battery out of the children.
  3. Place a new 3.0v D.C. button size battery type LR1632 or equivalent in the chamber with positive.
  4. Cover the battery cover.

LIMITED WARRANTY

  • The thermometer is guaranteed for one year from the date of purchase, if the thermometer does not function properly due to defective components or poor workmanship, we will repair or replace it free of charge.
  • All components are covered by this warranty excluding the battery.
  • The warranty does not cover damages to your thermometer due to improper handling.
