We’ve compiled a list of questions regarding the Anker KVM Switch from our valued customers.

Q1: How many monitors can the KVM switch connect to, and what is the

highest supported resolution?

Al: Anker KVM Switch can connect to two external monitors: one via HDMI and the other via DisplayPort. The maximum resolution it supports is detailed in the table below.

Note: Screen casting support and maximum resolution depend on the graphics capabilities of your host device. For some older computers, there might be screen castingissues due to the Display Stream Compression (DSC) feature not being enabled.

For those using macOS, the displayed content will be mirrored. macOS only supports a maximum resolution of dual 4K@30Hz.

No, this KVM switch operates as plug-and-play. There's no need for additional software or driver installations.

Q3: Can | use DisplayPort to HDMI or DisplayPort to Thunderbolt

cables/adapters for screen mirroring?

We don't recommend using DisplayPort to HDMI or DisplayPort to Thunderbolt cables/adapters for display connectivity to maintain stable screen mirroring.

Q4: Is the KVM Switch compatible with MacBook computers?

A: Yes, it is compatible with MacBooks. However, please note that macOS computers cannot support dual extended displays through this KVM Switch. When connected to two monitors, they will display the same content.
