  • Troubleshooting Guide
    • Should this unit exhibit a problem, check the following before seeking service:
  • No Power
    • The power is not on; press and hold the / button to turn the power on.
    • Confirm that the unit is charged.
  • No Sound – General
    • Volume is set to a minimum; raise the volume of your Bluetooth music device by its volume control. No sound from the microphone
    • Microphone volume is set to a minimum; raise microphone volume by pressing VOL + button up. Bluetooth reception failure
    • Put the external Bluetooth device close to the unit.
    • Pair the unit with the Bluetooth Device as the procedures stated in this manual.

Energy Saving Mode (Auto Power System-APS)

The unit will automatically switch off after 30 minutes in the following situations:

  1. There is no singing into the microphone;
  2. The Bluetooth music has been stopped.

The unit can be switched on again by pressing and holding / the button. APS is for energy-saving purposes. Specifications are subject to change without notice. Please retain the
instructions for further reference, as they contain important information.

Before you get started

EXIT “TRY ME” MODE
Press and hold the / button 2 seconds or charge the unit to exit the “TRY ME” mode.

CHARGING THE UNIT

  1. Insert the included USB charging cable into the unit’s micro USB port
  2. Plug the other end of the cable into a computer’s USB port or other USB charging device (not included). We recommend charging the unit for 4 hours to ensure it is fully charged.
  3. The speaker will light in red and slowly flash while the unit is charging. The light will turn off once the unit is fully charged.
  4. NOTE: Please charge the unit when you see the light on the speaker flashing red

CONNECTING HEADPHONES

For private listening or to monitor singing, use headphones (not included). Insert headphones into the Headphones jack

  • Press and hold the / button to turn the unit on (either one of the microphones); the power indicator will light.
  • Press the / button repeatedly to select Light mode as follows:
    • Light Mode 1-5: The speaker will light up with changing light colors. When there is music playback or singing, the lighting will flash with the audio signal.
    • Light Mode 6: The speaker will light up with color-changing lights continuously.
    • Light Mode 7: The light will be turned off. You can adjust the microphone volume by pressing the VOL + or – button

SING-ALONG WITH BUILT-IN VOICE CHANGERS

There are 6 built-in voice changers in this unit. When pressing the FX or button the speaker light will change. The voice will change when the singer starts to sing through the microphone. Purple light – ECHO Pink light – FEMALE Orange light – MALE Limelight – CHIPMUNK Cyan light – ROBOT Blue light – RADIO. Select white (NONE) to sing without any voice effect. To sing without the lead singer on the recording, press the VOCALS button. To resume the lead singer, press the VOCALS button again.
Note : Lead vocal removal may work better on some songs than others.

CONNECT A BLUETOOTH DEVICE

Switch on the Bluetooth function of your Bluetooth-compatible device within three feet of the unit. You will see “Singing Machine DUETS” appear on your device’s search list.
Select “Singing Machine DUETS” to start pairing. A chime will confirm the pairing was successful.

Notes

  • When both microphones have been switched on, you can only pair one microphone.

TO ADD A SECOND MICROPHONE FOR DUET PERFORMANCES
Switch on the other microphone. Press and hold the DUETS button on either one of the microphones within three feet of the other microphone. The Bluetooth indicator will flash red. Wait for the completion of the

Turn both microphones on. The speaker will light up by indicating light colors. Press and hold the DUETS button on either one of the microphones within three feet of each other. The microphone will make a sound to indicate both microphones are paired together. Switch on the Bluetooth function of your Bluetooth-compatible device within three feet of the microphones. You will see one “Singing Machine DUETS” appear on your device’s search list. Select “Singing Machine DUETS” to start pairing. Wait for the completion of the pairing. Both microphones will make a sound indicating that they have paired with Bluetooth devices.

  • Note: Press and hold the DUETS button to switch off the DUETS mode. Remember to press and hold the DUETS button again when you want to turn on Duets mode.
  • Notes
    • If your Bluetooth device prompts you for a passcode during the pairing process, please enter “0000” to connect. If pairing fails, repeat steps. If you have paired before, a list of previously searched results will be displayed. Select “Singing Machine DUETS” again. On some Bluetooth devices (i.e., computers), once pairing is completed, you must select your Bluetooth device as “Use as Audio Device” or similar.
    • Ensure any other Bluetooth devices are turned off to avoid accidental pairing.
    • Please always refer to the user manual of your Bluetooth device for detailed instructions.
