To operate the Portable Automatic Ice Maker, follow these steps:

  1. Place the ice maker on a stable and level surface.
  2. Make sure the ice maker is plugged into a power source.
  3. Open the cover of the ice maker.
  4. Add water to the water reservoir up to the maximum fill line indicated.
  5. Close the cover securely.
  6. Press the “ON/OFF” button to turn on the ice maker. The power indicator light will illuminate.
  7. Press the “SELECT” button to choose the desired ice cube size (small, medium, or large). The selected size will be indicated by the corresponding indicator light.
  8. The ice maker will start producing ice cubes automatically. The “ICE FULL” indicator light will illuminate when the ice basket is full.
  9. To clean the ice maker, press the “CLEAN” button and follow the cleaning instructions provided in the user manual.
  10. To turn off the ice maker, press the “ON/OFF” button again. Unplug the power cord from the outlet when not in use.

Important Notes

  • Do not use the ice maker outdoors or in areas with high humidity.
  • Do not use the ice maker if the water level is below the minimum fill line.
  • Do not exceed the maximum fill line when adding water.
  • Allow the ice maker to sit upright for at least 2 hours before using it for the first time.

  4. Before cleaning, repair or maintenance, unplug the power plug at first.
  5. This appliance can be used by children aged over 8 years old and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  6. Do not use the ice maker outdoors; Keep it away from direct sunshine; Leave the ice maker at least 4 inches away from any obstructions.
  7. Use water, instead of any other liquids to make ices.
  8. Do not use flammable liquids to clean the ice maker, otherwise the produced smokes may result in fire or explosion.
  9. Do not tilt the ice maker.
  10. If the ice maker is moved to an indoor place, place the ice maker for a period until it restores to indoor temperature before plugging.
  11. Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this appliance.
    • WARNING: The ice maker must be grounded.
    • WARNING: Fill with potable water only.
  12. Opening the door for long periods can cause a significant increase of the temperature in the compartments of the appliance.
  13. Clean regularly surfaces that can come in contact with food and accessible drainage systems.
  14. Clean water tanks if they have not been used for 48 h; flush the water system connected to a water supply if water has not been drawn for 5 days.

      WARNING When using, servicing and disposing of the unit, pay attention to the left symbol on the rear of the unit or on the compressor. This symbol warns of possible fires. There are flammable sustances in the refrigerant lines and in the compressor. Keep the appliance away from sources of the fire during use, maintenance and disposal.

OPERATION GUIDES AND MAINTENANCE

DANGER: Improperly using the grounded plug may result in electric shock. If the power plug is damaged, stop using and contact the seller.

  1. The product should be properly grounded, to reduce potential danger of electric shock.
  2. The ice maker should be plugged into a specialized and correctly installed grounded power outlet.
    • In any circumstance, do not cut down or disassemble the grounded power outlet. For any related problems of power or grounded outlet, consult the registered electrician.
    • Clean and maintain your ice maker.
    • Before using the ice maker, clean it totally.
      Tips: Before the first use, settle down the ice maker for 2-6 hours before turning it on. It may be slow to make ices in the first hour after the ice maker powers on. After the first hour, it”s stable to make ices. Leave 10 cm spare space away from the ice maker.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

  1. Take out the outer and inner package. Check whether the ice basket and ice scoop are contained. If not, contact our after-sales service.
  2. Remove the tapes of the ice scoop, ice basket and ice container. Clean the water tank and the ice tank.
  3. Place the ice maker on a flat countertop, avoiding direct sunlight and other heat sources (such as stove and ventilation equipment). Ensure to leave 4-inch spare space away from the ice maker.
  4. Before plugging the ice maker, settle down the refrigerant of the ice maker for 2-6 hours.
  5. Place the ice maker on a flat surface so that the plug can be plugged into a power outlet easily.
  6. Take out the ice basket.
  7. Use diluting detergent, warm water and a soft cloth to clean the water tank.
  8. Wash the internal accessory with water, remove the drain plug and drain out water.
  9. Clean the surface of the ice maker regularly with warm water and detergent.
  10. Dry up the inner or outer surface of the ice maker with a clean soft cloth.
  11. When the ice maker will be lain idle for a long time, drain out the water and keep it dry.

USING YOUR ICE MAKER

  1. Open the lid, take out the ice basket and pour water into the water tank. The water should be under the water line. Then, put back the ice basket and close the lid.

  2. Directly enter the next procedure when there is no need to clean the machine. If you want to use the cleaning function, please follow the instructions below:
    The machine enters standby mode (POWER indicator light flashes in green) after plugging in. Press and hold the ON/OFF/CLEAN button for 3 seconds to enter cleaning mode, “L” and “S” indicator lights will flash alternately. The cleaning process will last about 30 minutes. Without any operations, the machine will automatically end cleaning and enter standby mode after 30 minutes.
    If you want to stop cleaning during the cleaning process, press the ON/OFF/CLEAN button for 1 sec­ond, the machine will end cleaning and enter standby mode.

  3. Press the ON/OFF/CLEAN button for 1 second, the “POWER” green indicator light is on and the machine starts making ice cubes.

  4. Press “SELECT” to choose the size of ices. If the indoor temperature is below 60°F / 15°C, it’s recommended to choose the SMALL size to prevent big ices from being stuck together.

  5. The ice making period of one batch lasts 6-15 minutes, depending on the size of ices and in­door temperature. It’s recommended to use the ice maker in an indoor temperature of 59°F -90°F / (15-32°C)and water temperature of 50°F-104°F / 10°C-40°C.

  6. If the water pump is lacking water, the ice maker will stop automatically with the “ADD WATER” indicator light on. Press “ON/OFF/CLEAN” button to turn off the ice maker. Then, add water up to MAX water line and turn on the ice maker by pressing the “ON/OFF/CLEAN” button. Before reboot­ing, rest the refrigerant of the compressor at least 3 minutes.

  7. When the ice basket is full of ices, the “ICE FULL” indicator light will be on. WARNING: The infra­red sensor may fail to work if it’s exposed to direct sunlight or sunlight reflection. Please move the ice maker to a shadow.

  8. Change water in the water tank every 24 hours to guarantee hygiene or prevent blocked tube from influencing the ice making. If you don’t use the ice maker, drain out the water and wipe it up.

TROUBLESHOOTING

it until the ices melt down. Select small-size mode .

The water in the water tank is too freezing .| Change the water in the water tank. The water temperature should be con­ trolled within 50°F-104°F/10°C-40 °C.
The ice making peri­ od is normal but no ices are produced .| The indoor temperature or water temperature is too high.| The indoor temperature should be controlled within 59°F-90°F/(15-32°C).

The refrigerant of the cooling system leaks.| Ask a qualified technician to check.

  1. Do not operate this, or any other appliance with a damaged cord. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
    This ice maker must be positioned so that the plug is accessible: Connect to properly grounded outlets only. No other appliance should be plugged into the same outlet. Be sure that the plug is fully inserted into the receptacle.
