These user instructions belong to the car cover (hereinafter referred to as „cover“). The user instructions contain important information on installing and handling of the hail protector cover.

Read the user instructions carefully, especially the safety instructions, before using the product. Failure to observe these instructions may result in serious injury or damage.

Keep the operating instructions safely for future use. If you pass on the product to a third party, be sure to include these user instructions.

Safety

Proper intended use

The cover protects your vehicle from the effects of weather, such as rain, snow and dirt. The cover does not protect your vehicle from hail damage.

The cover is only intended for private use and may only be used on parked vehicles.

Only use the cover as described in these user instructions. Any other use is considered to be improper and can lead to material damage or even personal injury.

The manufacturer or dealer accepts no liability for damage or injury caused by improper or incorrect use.

Incorrect attachment of the cover can lead to personal injury.

  • Fasten the cover firmly to your vehicle. A cover that is not properly secured can be blown away by the wind and therefore lead to accidents.
  • Before each use, check that the retaining straps are not damaged. The cover can be blown away by the wind, if the retaining straps are damaged.

Incorrect attachment of the cover can lead to personal injury.

  • When attaching the cover, ensure that hot vehicle parts, such as the exhaust, have cooled down so that you do not burn yourself.

Improper handling of the cover can lead to damage of the vehicle or the cover.

  • Do not use the cover on a vehicle that has been repainted within the last 4 months, otherwise the paint may be damaged.
  • Never place the cover over hot areas of the vehicle.
  • Avoid any long-term use of the cover on your vehicle. Always remove the cover from your vehicle after the bad weather is over. Prolonged sunlight will cause the cover to age rapidly making it brittle and faded.
  • Only use the cover on clean vehicles. Dust and dirt under the cover can damage the paint of your vehicle.
  • Only use the tarpaulin on dry vehicles to avoid freezing. The tarpaulin can be damaged by freezing.

Use

  • If any antennas or attachments protrude from your vehicle, remove them before using the cover.
  • Unpack the cover and spread it out on a clean and dry surface.
  • Check that the retaining straps are not damaged.
  • Locate the sewn-in label with an arrow. This indicates the front section of the cover.
  • Pull the cover over your vehicle.
  • Tension both of the straps.

Cleaning

The cover can be cleaned by hand using lukewarm water and washing up liquid. After washing, allow the cover to dry thoroughly. Do not dry the cover under direct sunlight.

Storage

Do not fold the cover while it is wet or damp. Always make sure that the cover is completely dry before you fold it up for storage. Store the cover in a dry and dark place.

Disposal

The cover and the storage bag can be disposed of with the normal household rubbish. Dispose of the packaging in separated waste streams. Packing paper and cardboard should go for cardboard recycling, and plastic film in the collection of recyclable materials.
