IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using el ectric products, basi c precauti ons shoul d alway s be followed incl uding the following:
READ & FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Thi s is an el ectric product -not a toy! To avoi d risk of fire, burns, personal inj ury and electric shock,it shoul d not be pl ayed with or pl aced where small children can reach it.
  2. Do not use seasonal products outdoors unl ess marked suitabl e for indoor and outdoor use. When products are used i n outdoor applicati ons, connect the product to a  Ground Fault Circuit Interrupting (GFCI) outlet. If one is not provided, contact a qua lified el ectrician for proper installati on.
  3. Do not use thi s product for other than its i ntended use.
  4. Thi s seasonal use product is not intended for permanent use or installation.
  5. Unpl ug when leavi ng the house, when retiring for the night, or if lef t unattended.
  6. Do not mount or place near gas or electric heaters, fireplaces, candles or other similar sources of heat.
  7. Do not secure the wiring of the product with stapl es or nails, or pl ace on sharp hooks or nails.
  8. Do not hang ornaments or other objects from cord, wire, or light string.
  9. Do not pl ace lighti ng stri ng on carpeti ng, drape s, furniture, or allow it to contact vi nyl sidi ng while the power is on.
  10. Do not perform any mai ntenance or troubl eshoot for bad or broken l amps while the pow er is on.
  11. Do not close doors or wi ndows on the product or extensi on cords as this may damage the wire insulati on.
  12. Do not cover the product with cloth, paper or any material not part of the product when in use.
  13. This product is equipped with non- shunted type LED lamps. Do not twist or attempt to remove lamps.
  14. Thi s product empl oys overl oad protection (fuse). A blown fuse i ndicates an overl oad or short –circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unpl ug the product from the outl  et. Also unpl ug any additional strings or products that may be attached to the product, Repl ace the fuse as per the user servici ng instructions (follow product marki ng  for proper fuse rating) and check the product. If the replacement fuse blows, a short -circuit may be pre sent and the product shoul d be di scarded.
  15. Do not l et lamps rest on the suppl y cord or on any wire.
  16. Read and follow all instructions that are on the product or provi ded with the product.

USE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Before using or reusing, inspect product carefully. Discard any products that have cut, damaged, or frayed wire insulation or cords, cracks in the lamp holders or  enclosures, loose connections, or exposed copper wire.
  2. Before storing the product, carefully remo ve the product from wherever it is placed, including trees, branches, or bushes, to avoid any undue strain or stress on the  product conductors, connections, and wires.
  3. When not in use, store neatly in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight.
  4. When the product is used on a live tree, the tree should be well maintained and fresh. Do not place on live trees in which the needles are brown or break off easily. Keep  the tree holder filled with water.
  5. lf the product is placed on a tree, the tree sh ould be well secured and stable.

USER SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS:

SAFETY PLUG WITH REPLACEABLE FUSE:
Risk of fire. Do not replace attachment pl ug. Contai ns a safety device (fuse) that shoul d not be removed. Discard product if the attachment plug i s damaged.

  1. Always unplug product from the receptacl e or other outlet device before installing or repl aci ng fuse.
  2. Firmly grasp plug to unplug. Do not unpl ug by pulling on c ord.
  3. Open fuse cover. Side open fuse access cover on top of attachment plug. towards the bl ades.
  4. Remove fuses carefully by turning pl ug over.
  5. Ri sk of fire. Replace fuse only with 3 Amp, 125 Volt fuse (provided with product).
  6. Si de cl osed the f use access cover on top of plug.

To replace lamp:
The LED cover is designed to fit tightly on the lam phol der. To remove, turn the cover countercl ockwi se. After repl acing the LED, clockwise the cover to ensure a secure fit .

  1. Grasp plug and remove from th e receptacl e or other outlet device.
    Do not unpl ug by pulling on cord.

  2. Pull lamp and pl astic base straight out of lamphol der.

  3. Replace l amp with only 3.3 Volt, 0.066 Watt, LED type l amp(provi ded with product) .

CAUTION:

  1. This lighting string is rated 3.2 Watts ( 0.027 Amps), do not overload. Connect other lighting strings or decorative outfits end-to-end up to a maximum of 216 Watts (1.8  Amps) total.
    If connecting to a Lighting String that does not have a Wattage (W) rating, on the cord tag within 6 inches of the plug, calculate the wattage as follows: Multiply the  current (A), which is also on that cord tag, by 120.
    For example: The Lighti n g Stri n gis rated 120 V, 6 0H z,0.2A m p s. 0.2 x120 = 2 4 Watts.
    Add the wattage of each light string together for a total of 216 Watts or less. (Do not exceed 216 Watts.)

  2. To reduce the risk of overheating, a) replace burned out lamps promptly. Use 3.3 Volt, 0.066Watt LED lamps provided with this product .b) Risk of fire .This product  does not contain lamp shunts in order to allow the product to operate if one lamp burns out. Do not replace lamps with other than the spare lamps provided with this  product.

  3. To reduce the risk of fire electric shock: a) Do not install on trees having needles, leaves or branch coverings of metal or materials that look like metal, and b)Do not  mount or support strings in a manner that can cut or damage wire insulation.
    This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:

  5. this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

Warning: Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible f or compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.

These limits are designed to  provide reason able protection against harmful interference in a residential installation.
