SAFETY

- Never use the appliance in the bath, shower, or over a washbasin filled with water; nor should it is operated with wet hands.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or let it come into contact with water, even during cleaning.
- Warning! Do not use the appliance near water in bathtubs, washbasins, or other vessels.
- Before cleaning or user maintenance operation first, plug out.
- If the appliance is used in the bathroom, it is essential that the power plug is pulled out after use, as water close to the appliance can still constitute a danger, even if the appliance is switched off.
- For additional protection, It is recommended you install a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mm in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
- Never place the appliance on soft cushions or blankets during operation.
- Ensure that the air induction and output openings are not covered during operation.
- The appliance is equipped with an overheating protection system.
- Unplug the appliance after use. Do not disconnect the plug by pulling on the cord.
- Never use the appliance if it or the power cord is visibly damaged.
- Never mind the power cord around the appliance, as this can result in damage. Check the power cord and the appliance regularly for visible damage.
- Our GRUNDIG Household Appliances meet applicable safety standards, thus if the appliance or power cord is damaged, it must be repaired or replaced by a service center to avoid any dangers. Faulty or unqualified repair work may cause danger and risks to the user.
- Always keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with re- reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Do not dismantle the appliance under any circumstances. No warranty claims are accepted for damage caused by incorrect handling.
- A warm flow of air is required to achieve a perfect result. Please note that a metalized brush can become extremely hot during prolonged or intensive use. To avoid injury, adjust the usage time of the appliance to the accessory being used.

Settings
Your appliance has the following settings:
Heat Control Sensor B
Measures the temperature directly on the hair and allows the constant
maintenance of an optimal hair drying temperature.
Ionic function G
For non-static, soft, shiny hair. Maintains vitality and momentum of the hair
and naturally hydrates the hair structure.
The ionic function button G switches the ion supply on and off
Temperature setting I
Button for raising or lowering the temperature
Cold level J
: Interrupts the hot air supply with a cold airflow.
Airflow setting K
Button for raising or lowering the airflow speed
Display – Control panel L
Integrated display with control panel for controlling the Heat Control Sensor
and manual temperature/airflow adjustment in the handle.
OPERATION
Operation

Thoroughly dry hair with a towel after washing.
-
If necessary, attach the small styling nozzle A.

Connect the main cable F to the socket.

Check that the voltage on the rating plate on the device handle matches the voltage of the local power supply. -
Switch on the device with the on / off button. E
-
Set the temperature with the button I.
– Temperature level 1 appears on the display and this lights up red.
– With each actuation, increase the temperature level (5 levels).
– After level 5, level 1 appears again. -
Adjusting the airflow speed with the button K.
– Speed level 1 appears on the display and this lights up red.
– With each actuation, increase the rotational speed (5 levels).
– After level 5, level 1 appears again. -
When drying, the hot air flow can be interrupted by pressing and holding the button for the cold level J .
– The cold level symbol appears on the display and this lights up blue.
– The air flow setting can be changed during the cold air function.
Instructions
• The cold level interrupts the hot air with a cold airflow. This allows for better fixation on the hairstyle. -
If necessary, switch on the ion feed while the hair is drying by pressing the button G.
– The ion symbol appears on the display. -
Switch off the device after use via button E, and unplug the mains cable F from the socket.
Caution
Never wrap the main cable around the unit as this may cause damage. Check
mains cable regularly for visible damage.
Smart TP mode
Press the button for Smart TP Mode H to turn on the automatic heating
function.
– The TP symbol appears on the display and this lights up purple.
– The temperature on the hair is then unchanged at 55 °C.
– The airflow speed can be changed.
INFORMATION
Cleaning and care
- Switch off the device and disconnect the mains plug F from the socket.
- Allow the device to cool before cleaning. The device can become very hot.
- Regularly clean the air intake grille D with a soft brush to free it from dust and hair.
- Only clean the housing of the device with a soft, damp cloth.
Caution
- Never put the appliance or power cord in water or any other liquid. Do not use any cleaning agents.
- Always allow the appliance to cool down on a heat-resistant, safe, and flat surface.
Note
- Before using the appliance after cleaning, dry all parts carefully with a soft cloth or paper towel.
Storage
- If you do not plan to use the appliance for a long period of time, please store it carefully.
- Make sure that it is unplugged, has completely cooled down, and is completely dry.
- Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.
- Keep the appliance in a cool, dry place.
- Make sure that the appliance is kept out of the reach of children.
Tips for energy saving
Turn off and unplug the appliance after each use.
