INTENDED USE:

• LiftOff is intended for facial stimulation and is for over-the-counter cosmetic use only. Please note, this is not a medical device and should not be used to treat any medical conditions.
• LiftOff is designed to be used only by individuals in good health. If this is not the case for you, please consult your doctor before use.

DO NOT USE IF YOU:

• Have a history of epilepsy or seizures.
• Have had recent surgery or other surgical procedures?
• Have any electronic implanted device such as a defibrillator, neurostimulator, pacemaker, or ECG Monitor.
• Use a body-worn medical device, such as an insulin pump.
• Have any active cancer or have recently recovered from or had treatment for any suspicious or cancerous lesions?
• Are pregnant? The safety of electrical stimulation during pregnancy has not been established.
• Are under the care of a doctor for any ongoing medical condition, consult them before using this device.
• Have a known history of carotid artery disease, stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA), carotid stenosis, unstable blood pressure, easy fainting, thyroid disease, or prior surgical procedures in the neck area.
• Have a tendency for bleeding following acute injury or breaks in bones.
• Are you under the age of 18
• Consult your doctor before use if you have any underlying skin conditions.

PRECAUTIONS:

• The long-term effects of trans-cutaneous electrical stimulators are unknown.
• If you have suspected or diagnosed heart disease, you should follow precautions recommended by your doctor.
• Some users may experience skin irritation or hypersensitivity due to the electrical stimulation or the conductive gel. Irritation can usually be reduced with less frequent usage.
• Skin irritation and burns beneath the electrodes have been reported with the use of some powered muscle stimulators (EMS). If you experience any abnormal skin irritation or burning, discontinue use immediately.
• If using LiftOff causes persistent pain or discomfort, discontinue use immediately.
• There may be a perception of flashing lights during the use of your LiftOff, resulting from the stimulation of the eye area. If you notice this condition constantly without the use of your device, discontinue use and seek medical help.
• Some users may experience a metallic taste in their mouth during the use of the device, resulting from stimulation and varying sensitivity around the mouth. If you notice this condition constantly without the use of your device, discontinue use and seek medical advice.
• LiftOff is intended for cosmetic use on the face as described. Any consequence resulting from misuse, application to other parts of the body or face, connection to improper voltage sources, dirty contacting elements, alternative preparation gel, or any other improper application is neither the responsibility of HSNF Ltd nor its affiliates.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

IMPORTANT USAGE INFORMATION:

• Apply stimulation only to normal, intact, clean, healthy skin. Do not use over swollen, infected, or inflamed areas of skin or skin eruptions, e.g., phlebitis, thrombophlebitis, broken capillaries, varicose veins, etc.
• Do NOT use over the eyes (the circular muscle within the orbital rim), on or around the thyroid glands (midline of the neck, in front of and either side of the wind-pipe) on the temples (above the ear), breasts or groin area.
• When using on the jowl, care should be taken to minimize treatment directly over the midline of the neck, specifically avoiding the thyroid.
• Do NOT apply stimulation across your chest as the introduction of an electrical current into the chest may cause rhythmic disturbances to your heart, which can be lethal.
• Do NOT apply stimulation over any painful areas or areas sensitive to the touch or that lack normal sensation.
• Do NOT use while driving, operating machinery or during any activity in which involuntary muscle contractions may put yourself or a member of the public at unnecessary risk of injury.
• Use of controls, adjustments to the device, or alterations to treatment methods, other than those specified in this manual, may result in adverse reactions or injury.
• A tingling sensation (like a small electric shock) and some involuntary muscle twitching may occur while using Magnitone LiftOff. Lowering the mode setting may reduce or eliminate this sensation. If this is uncomfortable, we suggest using a lower-strength setting.

TECHNICAL DO NOT:

• Never operate the device if it is not functioning normally,
• Do not operate the device if it is now functioning due to damage caused by dropping or accidental submersion in water.
• Never drop or insert any non-specified object into any openings on the device.
• Keep away from water (including baths, showers, and sinks).
• If the device begins to overheat, turn the device OFF immediately.
• This product has approved the requirements of the European EMC legislation. Do not operate in the presence of electronic monitoring equipment (e.g., heart monitors, heart tracing or in close proximity (e.g. 1 m) to shortwave, microwave or electromagnetic therapy equipment as it may cause the medical equipment to malfunction. Such equipment may produce instability in your device’s output and could cause harm to your skin.
• Do not apply stimulation while bathing or showering.
• Do not use at extreme temperatures (high or low).
• Keep out of the reach of children and animals.
• Discontinue using the device immediately if you suspect the device to be malfunctioning, or not operating properly.
• Do not disassemble the device as this may cause damage, harm, malfunction, electrical shock, fire or injury. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Note: Disassembly voids your warranty.
• The battery of the device is not removable by the user. If the device is to be disposed of, do not put into a fire. Dispose of the device as per local regulations.
• Do not use the device if you see any signs of internal battery leakage.
• LiftOff is intended to be stored and used at room temperature and normal humidity. Do not store LiftOff in the sun or on a hot surface or in a wet room such as a bathroom. High temperatures may be damaging. The device should be operated. transported and stored in the manner specified in this manual. Failure to use and maintain the device in accordance with the instructions outlined in this manual will void the warranty.
• Only use the USB charge wire provided with your device.

GETTING STARTED

AREAS OF USE:

LiftOff is designed to stimulate large surface areas of the face, such as the jawline, jowl, cheekbones, and forehead. Avoid applying the device to the midline of the neck. Follow the instructions below for the best results:

HOW OFTEN:

• Use 3-5 minutes per day. Always allow 24hrs between treatments.
• For the first 2 months, use every other day.
• After 2 months, use 2x p/week for maintenance.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST TIME:

1. Charge LiftOff for 12 hours.
   Plug into any USB Socket on a charge plug or computer to charge your device. When the device is fully charged, the lights will go solid.

2. Test your skin for sensitivity to LiftOff
   Prepare + Glide Gel.
   Rub a pea-sized amount of gel on the underside of your forearm and leave for 15-20 minutes before washing it off. If an allergic reaction (rash or redness) develops, immediately contact Magnitone for recommendations on alternative formulas. You should not begin treatment with Magnitone LiftOff until your reaction to the gel has been resolved.

3. Take your ‘Before’ Photo
   Remember to take a before photo of your cleansed face, without makeup, in a well-lit room. After your first treatment, take an after photo then repeat every 4 weeks to track your results.

GET READY FOR LIFTOFF!

The instructions below are designed to provide the most effective results. Best results are achieved and maintained with regular use. All skin is different, and sensitivity varies. During use, you should feel a tingling pulsation and it may cause your facial muscles to twitch. Some people feel NO sensation at all. If it is uncomfortable, try using it without the gel and reduce the setting. These sensations will stop, once the device is removed from the skin.

1. Remove makeup and cleanse your face and neck with an oil-free cleanser. (Men should shave before treatment — facial hair can interfere with conductivity).
   IMPORTANT: Any cream, lotion, self-tan, or other oil-based products on the skin can block the microcurrent

2. Apply a mask-like layer of LiftOff Prepare + Glide Gel. It is best to do this section by section as you treat. You can reapply during treatment if your skin becomes dry to avoid any uncomfortable tingling. If you need to buy more LiftOff Gel, please visit www.magnitone.co.uk

3. Press the ‘+’ button to switch the device into Mode 1. Press ‘+’ or ‘–‘ to select your desired mode based on your comfort level from 1 [Low], to 4 [High].

4. Follow the LiftOff Glide Techniques below (a beep sounds every 5 seconds to help you know how long to hold each glide). You should use it for around 3-5 minutes in total.

5. To switch the device off, either press + on mode 4 or – on mode 1.
   ( NOTE : The device will automatically switch off after 10 mins)

6. After use, rinse off the Glide Gel with water.

7. Use a slightly damp, lint-free cloth to gently wipe clean your device after every use. Never wash LiftOff under a tap!

LIFTING TECHNIQUES

Always keep both contacting points touching the skin throughout each lift. For each lift, press down gently at the bottom and very slowly glide the device upwards until you hear the beep. Then move on.

LIFTING GLIDES

For a full facial, complete each glide listed below 3 times.

• JAW / JOWL
  Place contacting points slightly off center, taking care to avoid the midline of the neck. Glide toward back of neck until you hear the beep.

• CHEEKS
  Place contacting points below the nasolabial fold (“Smile lines”) or by the side of the nose and glide upwards toward ear, over the cheekbone avoiding the eye and temple area, until you hear the beep.

• FOREHEAD
  Place contacting points slightly above the eyebrows and glide towards the hairline until you hear the beep.

LIFTING HOLDS

Once a week, complete each hold 3 times on top of your regular facial.

• LIPS + SMILE
  Place contact points on either side of the corner of the lips, pull upwards, and hold until you hear the beep

• FOREHEAD
  Place contacting points horizontally at various intervals across the forehead, pull upwards and hold until you hear the beep

• JAWLINE
  Place contacting points vertically, on either side of the jawbone pull upwards towards the ear and hold until you hear the beep
