Operating instructions
Steps for a correct installation of your IFOAM:
Mains connection:
The connection is made by means of an electrical connection cable supplied
with the machine.
Remove the cable from the bracket and connect it to the mains, making sure
that the connector is suitable for the type of socket.
Connection to a mains water supply:
Connect the hose to a mains water supply with a minimum pressure of 2 bar.
Adapters for different taps are available as optional accessories. Connect the
hose to your IFOAM at the water inlet connection.
The inlet temperature of the mains water must not be higher than 60ºC, as this
may cause failures in the internal components of the equipment.
Chemical connection:
Open the cap of the COMEGRAS chemical bottle.
Remove the suction rod from your IFOAM and insert it into the chemical bottle.
Use in low pressure mode:
The IFOAM low pressure system can be connected to a foaming and rinsing lance
and a Tegras brushing robot. The connection is selected according to the
function to be performed.
Low pressure lance connection:
The low-pressure lance enables the rinsing and foaming function. The
connection is made directly to the machine by means of a hose connected to the
lower rear part of the machine.
-
Connect the liquid hose to your IFOAM.
-
Connect the liquid hose to the low pressure lance.
Use with Tegras brushing robot:
This connection is made by means of the low-pressure hose also used with the
low-pressure lance. The connection must be made with your IFOAM switched off.
-
Connect the liquid hose to your IFOAM.
-
Connect the liquid hose to the liquid inlet connection of the Tegras brushing machine.
Selection of the function to be performed:
Switching the equipment on
Switch on your IFOAM by pressing the on/off button.
The LED strip will turn green in colour, with intensity ramps up and down.
The equipment is now ready for use.

The LED strip will turn green, with increasing and decreasing intensity,
indicating that the equipment is paused awaiting orders.
Switching off the equipment
Switch off your IFOAM by pressing the on / off button off button. The LED
strip will turn off.
Unplug the unit from the mains and the mains water supply.
Steps for a correct stop of your Ifoam
Disconnection of the chemist:
Remove the chemical suction rod from the chemical and place it in the
equipment brackets.
Close the chemical bottle and store it in a safe place.
Disconnection of the lance:
Operate the low-pressure lance so that no water, air or chemicals are left in
the lines.
If desired, detach the hose from the lance to store them separately.
Disconnection of the mains water supply:
Disconnect the hose from the mains water supply. Disconnect the mains water
hose from your IFOAM.
Disconnection of the liquid hose:
Disconnect the liquid hose from your IFOAM.
Disconnect the liquid hose from your IFOAM.
Disconnect the cable from the mains and store it in the holder for proper
storage of the equipment.
Use of chemical products
COMEGRAS FOAM ACTIVE is the chemical used for the operation of your IFOAM.
It is a degreaser especially indicated for cleaning, sanitizing and
deodorizing areas particularly dirty with grease and burnt residues in
installations and materials in the food industry such as meat processing
plants, slaughterhouses, restaurants, dairies, etc.
Particularly suitable for use on filters, extractor hoods, smoke extraction
ducts, floors, walls, as well as on all heavily and persistently soiled
surfaces.
Its 10 kg canister format makes it easy to transport and handle in a clean and
safe way. It fits perfectly inside your IFOAM equipment and is very easy to
replace.
Before starting cleaning, it is very important to read the product label to
know the properties, applications, instructions for use and precautions to be
taken into account when using COMEGRAS FOAM ACTIVE.
Wear PPE to prevent splashing or inhalation of vapours released by the
chemical.
The use of PPE when working with the machine is compulsory according to Law
31/1995 on the Prevention of Occupational Risks.
PPE to be used during the operation of your IFOAM:
Transport
The machine is designed to be transported in a small van.
During transport, the machine must be securely tied down to prevent any
damage. It should also be placed in its normal working position (upright).
It is not recommended to place the machine on a transport pallet or similar.
The machine must rest on a completely flat and horizontal surface.
The machine must never be placed in a horizontal position (lying down) for
transport. This would result in serious damage to the machine and therefore in
the machine malfunctioning.
Clean all parts of the machine thoroughly before loading it for transport.
Maintenance and care
Keep the equipment as clean as possible, storing it in a place protected from
the weather.
Once you have finished using your IFOAM equipment, it is important to clean
the liquid circuit of the equipment by rinsing it. Keeping the equipment
stored with chemicals in the internal ducts of the machine can reduce the
service life of the components.
If the foam or rinse water is not sprayed evenly through the nozzles, check
that the nozzles are not clogged with dirt.
Keep the machine in good condition, avoid knocks or overloading.
Keep the connections clean to avoid obstructions in the pipes that could cause
serious damage to the main elements of the machine.
Keep the connection fittings clean, dry and in good condition. Lubricate the
fittings at least once a month.
Spare parts:
TEINNOVA has spare parts for all parts of the machine as well as consumables
for all the maintenance tasks indicated in this manual.
Should you require any parts or consumables, please contact TEINNOVA Customer
Service on +34 941 44 50 56.

collection points for recycling.
Do not throw electrical appliances in the trash!
We recommend that electrical tools and accessories are subjected to an
environmentally friendly recycling process.
Please dispose of the materials in the appropriate container or go to your
local collection points.
