Safety Instructions
Please, take time to read well the instruction sheet before the first use and
keep them for a future use.
A misuse of the appliance can damage it or hurt the user. Assure that you use
the appliance for the use for which it is designed. We refuse any
responsibilities as for the damages by an incorrect use or a bad manipulation.
- Before use check that the voltage of your wall outlet correspond to the rated voltage manner.
- Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or after malfunction or has been damaged in any manner.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surface.
- To reduce the risk of electric shock, never operate this product with wet hands. The appliance must not be immersed.
- Caution hot surface! Do not touch or clean appliance when it is still hot.
- Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is being used near children or infirm persons.
- Do not place an appliance on or near a hot gas or on a heated oven.
- Do not use outdoors (Household use only).
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
- Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

Use of the device
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
Carefully unpack the appliance and remove all packaging materials. Before
using your appliance, wipe the main unit with a damp cloth. Clean the forks
and the bowl with hot soapy water. Dry the whole unit.
- Place the appliance on a flat, dry and stable surface.
- Plug in the appliance. The red control light will be illuminated.
- Place the chocolate on the bowl. If necessary, to have best density, you can add one spoon of oil, cream or milk. The ready time for the appliance is about 15 minutes.
- Let the chocolate melt. Once the chocolate is ready, everyone can start to dip the food of their choice like fresh fruit, cakes, cookies, macaroons, profiteroles, marshmallows and biscuits.
To enjoy your joyful moment faster, you can use other heating methods (bain- marie, microwave etc…) and then pour gently into the bowl of the device.
Cleaning and maintenance
Before cleaning, disconnect the appliance and wait until has cooled down
Wash the bowl and the forks in warm water or dishwasher.
Wipe the base with soft damp cloth
Never use an abrasive sponge or objects.
Never immerse unit in water.
Correct disposal of the unit (Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
(Applicable in the European Union and the rest of Europe that have adopted
separate collection systems countries). The European Directive 2012/19/EU on
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household
electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal household waste
stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the
recovery and recycling of the materials they contain and reduce the impact on
human health and the environment. The symbol of the crossed out dustbin is
marked on all products to remind the obligations of separate collection.
Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information
concerning the correct disposal of their product.
