The Aero-FlexMD Universal Kit is a versatile tool for converting and assembling various types of heads for your gardening equipment. It provides safe and efficient use of your trimmer or brush cutter.

Product Usage Instructions

Conversion and Assembly

1. Remove the existing head from your equipment. Determine if it has a right or left thread to select the appropriate type of fastener to use.
2. Select the proper head from the Aero-FlexMD kit.
3. Before attaching the Aero-Flex Head, choose a compatible fastener from the kit and thread it onto the arbor head. Secure it with 40-60 in-lbs of torque.
4. If necessary, use the provided tools such as needle-nose pliers, snap ring pliers, and a hammer to remove any arbor adapter found on your equipment.
5. Grasp the rim of the head and unscrew it completely. Then, securely hand-tighten the new head onto the equipment.
6. If applicable, remove the cap using your thumb or a screwdriver and install the blades according to the instructions provided. You can refer to the back of the manual for more advanced line blade arrangements.

Safe Use and Precautions

• To reduce the risk of injury, always read and follow the provided instructions carefully.
• Protect your eyes and ears from flying debris and noise. Wear appropriate safety goggles and ear protection.
• Never use the Aero-FlexMD Universal Kit without a shield. Ensure the shield is properly aligned to prevent accidents.
• Do not position the shield improperly, as it may compromise the safety of the tool.

Get the free mobile app at:

1. Remove existing head, may be a right or left thread. This will tell you which type of fastener to use. (step 3)
2. Select proper head.
3. Before attaching Aero-Flex Head, select the compatible fastener by threading onto arbor
4. Install proper Aero-Flex® Head and secure with 40-60 in-lbs of torque.
5. Alternately assemble two orange and two yellow (shown in gray) line blades.

SHORT ARBOR CONVERSION

Short arbor heads remove in one piece.

REMOVE ANY ARBOR ADAPTER

Remove any arbor adapter if found

CRAFTSMAN HASSLE-FREETM 4-LINE

RED SPEEDSPOOL 2®

Grasp rim to unscrew entire head then securely hand-tighten the Aero-Flex® short head.

LONG ARBOR CONVERSION

Remove retainer knob and line spool. Then remove entire head.

If there is a retaining washer,split with a sharp chisel
