JAMESON Handi Light Single Lamp Fluorescent Work Light
Product Information
The Single Lamp Fluorescent Work Light is a portable lighting device designed for various work environments. It features a fluorescent lamp that provides bright illumination, making itsuitable for tasks that require adequate lighting. The work light is equipped with an outer tube, an end cap, a shock, and a white electrical cord for easy operation and maintenance.
Product Usage Instructions
- Cut and remove the wire/cable tie from the smaller end cap located opposite the handle and electrical cord.
- Gently pry off the end cap by using a screwdriver or a similartool.
- Notice the white electrical cord protruding from the shock. Gently push 2.5 inches of this cord back through the shock.
- Carefully remove the shock by pulling it straight out of the outer tube. Be cautious as the lamp may remain attached to the shock. If so, carefully pull the lamp loose.
- Remove the old lamp from the tube and dispose of it properly.If the old lamp is not broken, be cautious as there is a vacuum inside, and breaking the lamp can be dangerous. Spent lamps contain low levels of mercury, and their disposal requirements may vary by state. For proper disposal information, visit www.lamprecycle.org.Clean the inside of the outer tube if necessary.
- Insert the new lamp so that the bottom lamp pin inserts fullyinto the base of the shock.
- Insert the shock into the outer tube so that the top lamp pinsinsert fully into the receptacles of the shock.
- Gently pull the white electrical cord through the shock to remove any slack.
- Replace the end cap, ensuring that the cap is fully seated in the groove of the tube. Secure it with a cable/wire tie of at least 150 lbs.
- Visually inspect the light to ensure that the lamp is fully engaged before testing.
Important:
- Always disconnect the work light from the power source beforerelamping.
- Wear hand and eye protection while performing the relamping procedure.

RELAMPING INSTRUCTIONS

Cut and remove wire/cable tie from smaller end cap located opposite handle and electrical cord.

Remove end cap by gently prying off tube with a screwdriver or similar tool.

Notice white electrical cord protruding from shock. Gently push 2.5” of this cord back through shock.

Carefully remove shock by pulling it straight out of outer tube. Use caution as lamp may remain attached to shock. If so, carefully pull lamp loose.

Remove lamp from tube and dispose of properly.
