INTRODUCTION
This all-in-one frozen drink maker will make perfect slush drinks, margaritas, daiquiris, smoothies and more every time! The two ice shaving options allow you to choose a fine or coarse shaved ice texture. Making one or multiple servings is easy, with the serving sizes indicated right one the pitcher. Use the included recipes to make delicious drinks or create your own. With the frozen drink maker, creating refreshing icy drinks is fun and easy!
BEFORE FIRST USE
CAUTION : The frozen drink maker has a sharp stainless steel blade that
can cut and cause injury. Use EXTREME CAUTION when handling the appliance.
Keep fingers clear from blade and avoid contact at all times when using and
cleaning.
Note : When using the appliance for the first time, carefully remove all
internal and external packaging, protective film and accessories.
- Before first use, thoroughly wash the ice shaving chamber lid, pitcher and mixing paddle in warm, soapy water with a non-abrasive sponge or cloth. Dry thoroughly. IMPORTANT! DO NOT put the motor housing or base in water.
- Wipe clean the exterior motor housing, base and inside of the unit with a nonabrasive moist sponge or a damp cloth followed by a non-abrasive dry towel.
- After cleaning the inside, put the ice shaving chamber into the motor housing so it is seated on the shaft. Twist the chamber lock in the direction of the arrow to lock into position.
- Insert the mixing paddle into the slot in the center of the pitcher.
- Now the frozen drink maker is ready for use.
OPERATION
-
Place the appliance on a flat stable, water-resistant surface near an electrical outlet before starting. Make sure the cord is away from any water source. It is acceptable to use an extension cord if needed. DO NOT plug in the appliance into mains power at this time.
-
Place the ice shaving chamber into the motor housing so it is seated on the shaft. Twist the chamber lock in the direction of the arrow to lock into position.
Make sure that the ice shaving chamber is free from any foreign objects. -
Insert the mixing paddle into the slot in the center of the pitcher.
-
Fill the pitcher with your favorite beverage, liquor, juice or drink mix.
NOTE : Use the lines indicated on the side of the pitcher as a guide for how much liquid to add. You may choose to make a small or large serving. -
Slide pitcher into place on base and turn clockwise until it stops. This will allow the mixing paddle to mix ice and ingredients once the operation begins.
-
Turn the selector knob to the desired setting. SLUSH produces a finely shaved ice; SNOW produces a coarser textured ice.
-
Place ice in ice shaving chamber. Add enough ice cubes, but not above the top of ice shaving chamber.
BE CAREFUL when placing ice cubes in ice shaving chamber. The blade is very sharp. -
Plug cord into a mains power outlet.
-
When you are ready to start making your frozen drink, place the lid on the appliance and turn counter-clockwise to engage the interlock switch (to turn power ON/OFF).
HELPFUL TIPS
-
Ice cubes should sit a short while before putting them in the ice shaving chamber.
If ice has a frosty appearance, it is too hard to shave. Let the ice sit until it is translucent and wet to the touch. Then it is ready to put in the ice shaving chamber. -
If ice is not shaving, try one of the following:
Turn the appliance off by removing the lid. Redistribute the ice in the ice shaving chamber. BE CAREFUL to avoid contact with the shaving blade.
Make sure the lid is properly locked to activate the interlock switch to start the unit. -
If the mixing paddle is not turning, make sure the pitcher has been turned clockwise on the base until it stops. The mixing paddle must be properly affixed to the bottom of the pitcher and the top of the appliance in order to mix ice and ingredients.
-
It may appear that your frozen drink maker is leaking when unshaven ice melts and drips onto the base. This is normal. Wipe the base dry with a soft cloth.
IMPORTANT! To prevent water damage to the bench top, ensure the frozen drink maker is placed on a water-resistant surface.

-
After using your frozen drink maker, disconnect from electrical power outlet.
Remove plug by gripping the plug body and pulling out of the outlet. Never yank or twist cord to unplug the appliance. -
