WARNER Electronic Drying Cap Dryer for Rechargeable Hearing Aids
Dry & Clean Mode (2 h)
The Dry & Clean mode is an automatic program and combines fast drying with an efficient fan with UV-C light at the beginning and end of the drying time for perfect hygiene.
Clean Mode (2 min)
The Clean Mode is a short-term hygiene program and starts the optimized UV-C light, which effectively eliminates up to 99.9% of germs, bacteria and fungi present in the household.
Using first time
- Plug the USB cable into a USB socket of the dual-port USB power supply and the USB-C plug into the socket on the back of your dry-cap uv 2.1®. You can plug the USB cable of the charging station into the second USB socket.
- Then plug the power supply unit into a mains socket.
The dry-cap uv 2.1® is ready to use
Operation Dry&Clean Mode (2 h)

Place the dry-cap uv 2.1® with the acrylic hood over the charging station with the rechargeable hearing aids.

Press the left button (Dry&Clean mode) and the care program (drying + UV-C) starts automatically

The fast drying by fan is controlled by a microprocessor and runs for 2 h
LED permanent light -
Ultraviolet light (253,7 nm) eliminates germs and bacteria to 99.9% within 2 min
LED blink light -
After 2 min the UV-C light switch off automatically, the drying process continues
LED permanent light -
Within the last minute of the 2 h drying program, a second UV-C hygiene runs
LED blink light -
After 2 h the dry-cap uv 2.1® automatically shutdown to stand-by Drying and hygiene are complete, the charging of the hearing aids in the charging station continues and can remain under the dry-cap uv 2.1® after the charging station is switched of

Lift the dry-cap uv 2.1® up and off next to the charging station. Remove the dried and hygienically cleansed hearing aids from your charging station.

3. Put the dry-cap uv 2.1® with the acrylic hood over the products to be
cleansed.
4. Press the right button (Clean Mode) and the hygiene program (UV-C)
starts automatically.

Maintenance and operation
We recommend wet wipes for cleaning your dry-cap uv 2.1®. Please also read the care and operating instructions for your hearing aids and charging station. The dry-cap uv 2.1® is very energy efficient; unplug the power supply only for prolonged absence. You can interrupt the drying process in Dry & Clean mode by holding the button for more than 3 seconds or by lifting and tilting the unit.
Warnings
Avoid contact with water. Don’t use the dry-cap uv 2.1® near basins etc. In the event of a malfunction, unplug the power supply and take the dry-cap uv 2.1® to your retailer. Don’t disassemble the dry-cap uv 2.1® and use only the supplied 5V power adapter. Children must be supervised to ensure that they don’t use the dry-cap uv 2.1® as a toy. The dry-cap uv 2.1® is not to be used by persons who have limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or who do not have sufficient experience and/or knowledge of the dry-cap uv 2.1®, unless they are supervised for their own safety by a responsible person, or receive instructions on how to use the dry-cap uv 2.1®. CAUTION: Do not look into the UV-C light, as this can harm your eyes and your skin. The dry-cap uv 2.1® has a 3G-safety sensor. If the dry-cap uv 2.1® is moved, rotated or tilted during use, the 3G-Senor switches the device off! In idle mode, you must then restart the device. Please use only with UV-C cleanable products, never with humans and animals!
Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste; use
separate collection facilities.
If electrical appliances are disposed of in land lls or dumps, hazardous
substances can leak into the groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging
your health and well-being.
