Product Information
The ClimaRad Care H1C is a device that creates the optimum temperature and air quality in your room. It achieves this by heating, cooling, and ventilating with air filtration and heat reclamation. The built-in heat exchanger minimizes heat loss during ventilation with outside air.
Product Usage Instructions
To operate the ClimaRad Care H1C, you will find the control panel on the top of the device.
Control Panel:
- luchtkwaliteit : Indicates air quality.
- snelheid : Controls the speed of the unit.
- AUTO : Activates automatic adjustment mode.
- filter vervuild : Indicates a dirty filter.
- basisventilatie : Activates basic ventilation.
The ClimaRad Care H1C in your room is set up optimally by the installer and operates automatically. We will only explain the function buttons that are relevant for your daily use.
Function Keys:
- AUTO : Automatically adjusts ventilation/heating/cooling based on CO2 measurement. Use the AUTO + or AUTO – button combinations to set the desired default temperature of your room.
- Pause : Temporarily stops ventilation/heating/cooling. After 4 hours, the unit will switch back to automatic control.
- Maximum : Activates maximum setting. Use this function for expelling unpleasant odors like smoke or cooking smells. After 4 hours, the unit switches back to automaticcontrol.
- Ventilation with cooler outside air : Ventilates with cooler outside air when it is at least 2 degrees colder than the air in your room. After 8 hours, the unit switchesback to automatic control. Use the + and – buttons to control thespeed. Useful in summer to lower the temperature in a warmed room.
- Child lock : Locks the control panel. Press the indicated buttons simultaneously for 4 seconds. Repeat to unlock.
Messages:
- Child lock : Indicates that the child lock is activated.
- Error : Indicates a fault has occurred. Please contact your installer or housing corporation.
- Dirty filter : Indicates a dirty filter. Replace the air filters or contact your installer or housing corporation. After replacing the filters, press the + and – buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds.
To switch off the ClimaRad Care H1C, press and hold the power button for 4 seconds.
Operating principle ClimaRad Care H1C
The ClimaRad Care H1C device creates the optimum temperature and air quality by heating, cooling, and ventilating with air filtration and heat reclamation. The built-in heat exchanger ensures that hardly any heat is lost during ventilation with outside air.
Operating the ClimaRad Care H1C

Control panel
- The ClimaRad Care H1C in your room is adjusted optimally by the installer and works completely automatically.
- This is why we will only explain the function buttons that are relevant for you in daily use.
Function Keys
- Automatic adjustment. The ventilation/heating/cooling in the room is controlled automatically by your ClimaRad ventilation unit, which functions on the basis of CO 2 measurement.
- Use the AUTO + or AUTO – button combinations to set the desired default temperature of your room.
- You can adjust the desired speed for heating or cooling with the + and the – on your control panel. After a period of 4 hours your ClimaRad ventilation unit switches back to the automatic control.
- Pause. Use this function when you temporarily do not wish to ventilate/heat/cool. After a period of 4 hours your ClimaRad ventilation unit will switch back to automatic control.
- Maximum. Your ClimaRad ventilation unit will function in the maximum setting. For ventilation, this function can be used to expel unpleasant odours such as smoke or cooking smells. After a period of 4 hours your ClimaRad switches back to automatic control.
- Ventilation with cooler outside air. Your ClimaRad ventilation unit ventilates with outside air when it is a minimum of 2 Degrees colder than the air in your room. After a period of 8hours your ClimaRad switches back to automatic control. You can control the speed with the + and -. For example, use this function in the summer when you want to lower the temperature in your warmed room by several Degrees.
- Child lock. This button combination locks your control panel. Press the indicated buttons simultaneously for 4 seconds. Repeat this action if you want to unlock the control panel.
Messages
- Child lock. The child lock is activated.
- Error. A fault has occurred. Please contact your installer or housing corporation.
- Dirty filter. Replace the air filters or contact your installer or housing corporation After replacing the filters, press the + and – buttons for 6 seconds.
