INTRODUCTION

Flash
Enables you to receive another incoming call when you are on a call (Call Waiting). -
Redial
Redials last outgoing number dialed. -
Pause
When programming in speed dial numbers, press this button to insert a two second pause to be used when dialing a sequence of numbers, like an extension. -
Mute/Silent
Enables you to have private conversations the caller can’t hear. In addition, this can silence the ringer when you get an incoming call you don’t want to answer. -
Speakerphone
Press during a call to activate speakerphone, press again to deactivate speakerphone. -
Customer Service Button
Press to contact an EPB customer service representative. -
Menu Screen
Shows various phone functionality, including your phonebook.* -
Enter
Press to confirm a choice on screen. -
Arrow Buttons
Press up and down arrow buttons to navigate through menu options. -
Delete
Press to delete memory records and to edit names and numbers. -
Menu Button
Press to see a list of your phone’s functionality. -
Memory Buttons
(M1, M2, M3)
Program one speed dial number per button. -
Boost
Press for extra volume amplification, glows red when engaged. Press and hold the Boost button for 5 seconds to engage the Outgoing Speech Amplification feature, which makes outgoing calls easier for those with a low speech volume, and is ideal for calling anyone who’s hard of hearing.* -
Tone
Press to select from five available audio tones. One is specifically recommended for hearing aid users. Press and hold the Tone button to enter the Custom mode for fine tuning tone settings. -
Volume Control
Turn up and down to increase or decrease volume of call and/or ringer. -
Visual Ringer
Blinks red when the phone rings. Also flashes red when the phone is not in use to indicate a missed call, voicemail, low battery, or when the Outgoing Speech Amplification feature is engaged. -
Line Port
For the phone cord. -
Power Port
For the power cord. -
Neck Loop
Can add a 3.4mm neck loop. -
Headset Port
Enables you to add a headset with a 2.5mm plug. -
Voice Assist Switch
Set to ON if you wish to hear the numeric keys pressed during dialing. -
Boost Override Switch
Switch on if you want the volume Boost feature to be engaged at the beginning of all calls. -
Missed Call Switch
Switch on if you want the Missed Call light to turn on when you have a missed call. -
Voicemail Switch
Switch on if you want the Voicemail light to turn on when you have a voicemail. -
Tone/Pulse Switch
Set this switch to the desired dialing method.
