Getting Started
Ensure that you have gathered all the required materials that are needed for the installation.

Care Instructions
To clean the fixture, wipe with a soft cloth. Clean glass with a mild soap. Do not use abrasive materials such as scouring pads or powders, steel wool, or abrasive paper.

Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Thread Rods into Fixture Body
Refer to the illustrations below for the correct location of rods.

Screw the rods into the holes in the fixture body.

Step 2: Use at Least One 12-Inch Stem

At least one 12-inch stem must be used.
Push the fixture wires up through the bottom of the 12-inch stem (M).
Pull the fixture wires out of the top of the stem (M) and make sure they are taut.
Screw the bottom of the stem (M) onto the top of the fixture body (O).

Step 3: Determine Hanging Height and Select Stems

Determine the desired hanging height of the fixture.
Select the quantity of stems (M/N) needed to achieve that height.

Step 4: Thread Fixture Wires through Stems

Push the fixture wires through the remaining stems (M/N).
Thread the stems (M/N) together carefully, keeping the fixture wires taut.

Step 5: Thread Coupling and Canopy

Push the fixture wires through the coupling (T).
Thread the coupling (T) onto the top of the last stem.
Slip the fixture wires through the hole in the threaded ring (F) and through the hole in the canopy (D).

Step 6: Mounting Bracket Installation

Position the mounting bracket (A) with the head of the ground screw and the longer end of the threaded pipe pointing down towards the floor.
Place the mounting bracket (A) against the junction box, aligning each slot in the bracket with each hole in the junction box.
Thread one junction box screw (B) into each slot in the mounting bracket (A) and into the holes in the junction box.
Tighten the junction box screws (B) to secure the mounting bracket (A) to the junction box.

FOR YOUR SAFETY

WARNING: Be sure the electricity to the wires you are working on is shut off?, either the fuse is removed or the circuit breaker is shut. You don’t need special tools to install this xture. Be sure to follow the steps in the order given. Under no circumstances should an xture be hung on house electrical wires, nor should a swag-type xture be installed on a ceiling that contains a radiant-type heating system. Read the instruc-tions carefully, if you are unclear as to how to proceed, consult a qualied electrician.

INSTALLATION (FIG. 1)

IMPORTANT : At least one 12-inch stem must be used.
Carefully push xture wires up through the bottom of the 12-inch stem (M). Pull xture wires out of the top of the stem (M). Pull xture wires taut. Screw the bottom of the stem (M) onto the top of the xture body (O).
. Determine desired hanging height of the xture. Select the quantity of stems (M/N) to achieve that height.
Carefully push? xture wires through the remaining stems (M/N). Thread stems (M/N) together carefully keeping? xture wires taut.
Push xture wires through coupling (T). Thread coupling (T) onto the top of the last stem.
Slip? xture wires through the hole in the threaded ring (F) and a hole in the canopy (D).
INSTALLATION (FIG. 3)
Carefully pull house wires down out of the junction box so house wires are easily accessible to connect ?xture Wires
Position the mounting bracket so the head of the ground screw and the longer end of the threaded pipe is pointing down towards? oor. Place mounting bracket (A) up against
Thread one junction box screw (B) into each slot mounting bracket (A) and into holes in the junction box. Tighten junction box screws (B) to secure mounting bracket (A) to the junction box.
Thread screw collar (W) onto end of threaded pipe attached to mounting bracket (A). Thread swivel (S)onto screw collar (W).
CAUTION : Make sure house wires are still easily accessible. DO NOT pinch wires between the mounting bracket and ceiling.

When parallel wires are used, the neutral wire is ridged down its length and the other wire is round and smooth (see illus.).
11. Push xture wires up through swivel (S) and screw collar (W) attached to mounting bracket (A) and out end of the threaded pipe inside the junction box. Carefully pull xture wires so they are easily accessible to connect to house wires. 12. Twist the end of the xture white wire to the end of the house white wire together. Twist a wire nut onto the ends of the wires. Wrap electrical tape around the wire nut and wires to secure the connection. Twist the end of the xture black wire and the end of the house black wire together. Twist a wire nut onto the ends of the wires. Wrap electrical tape around the wire nut and wires to secure the connection. Loosen the ground screw on the mounting bracket (A). Wrap house ground wire around ground screw leaving enough ground wire to attach to xture ground wire. Twist the end of the xture ground wire to the end of the house ground wire together. Twist a wire nut onto ethe nds of the wires. Wrap electrical tape around the wire nut and wires to secure the connection.
NOTE : If you have electrical questions consult your local electrical code for approved grounding methods.
1. After the wires are connected, carefully tuck the wires inside the junction box
  INSTALLATION (FIG. 5)
2. Raise canopy (D) to the ceiling. Pass hole in canopy (D) over screw collar (W). Position canopy (D) up against ceiling
3. Screw threaded ring (F) onto screw collar loop (E). Tighten threaded ring (F) to secure xture to ceiling.
4. Screw recommended bulbs (E12 candelabra bulb type, not included. G16.5 bulb recommended.) into sockets. Verify correct bulb wattage marked on the socket of xture.
  WARNING : DO NOT exceed maximum bulb wattage.
