IMPORTANT ASSEMBLY STEPS
When encountering this information icon during assembly, please refer the relevant assembly step for important additional comments.
Step 1 : Dig two (2) holes according to the specified measurements and make sure the bottom is tight/well packed. Plan ahead according to the placement of the parking as shown in the drawing. Make sure the pits’ walls are at a 90°. If the ground is sandy and digging proper holes is impossible, please consult a local expert / constructor.
Step 2 : Profiles #8646 come covered in plastic film, please do not peel at this point, it serves to protect the profiles from the concrete. These profiles assist in stabilizing the concrete casting, and will be later assembled in the roof.
Step 5 :
Please use wooden beams (not supplied) to set and hold the aluminum poles in
place, make sure the profiles are set at a depth of 19.6″ (50 cm) in
accordance with the former Step (4). The aluminum poles must be leveled in all
directions. Step 6: Please ensure the concrete casting reaches the line that
was marked on the profile at the previous steps.
Step 7 : Please wait for the concrete to be fully set and dry, in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and depending on the weather conditions, before continuing with the assembly! Step 9: Please note the profile’s direction.
Step 19 : Optional: if you find it difficult to tighten the screws, it is possible to use toggle clamps before tightening the screws. Make sure the toggle clamps do not come in direct contact with the powder coated profiles! Use a wooden plank in order to protect the profile from bending. Step 30: In order to be able to tighten the screws, use a high step ladder. Be careful!
