SAFETY INSTRUCTION

Please read the warning and instruction for use carefully before using this appliance and comply strictly for your own safety and to prevent the damage that may occur on your property.

WARNING

[ 1 ] Never connect the plug with your wet hand as it may be dangerous from electric leakage.
[ 2 ] Should not use the electric fan close to curtain, mosquito net or any objects which could be pulled to the motor, otherwise this may cause accident and damage.
[ 3 ] Should not use the electric fan at the high temperature place such as placing it close to the stove or the high humidity place, as the unit might be damaged.
[ 4 ] Should not install the electric fan on an incline wall or in a way that the unit is turned downward otherwise, as the unit might be damaged.
[ 5 ] Do not immerse the electric fan in water or sprinkling water because this could lead to a short circuit or equipments broken.
[ 6 ] Do not insert the finger or any objects through the grille while the blade is rotating.
[ 7 ] Do not spray any vapor or chemicals to the electric fan while the blade is rotating
[ 8 ] Do not use the electric fan with incomplete or broken parts such as grille or blade, as it may cause injury.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE

[ 1 ] Plug in tightly in order to avoid the plug to be overheated. This can cause the plastic to be melted, and conflagrated. When unplugging, hold only the plug part; do not pull the cable as this may cause the cable broken.
[ 2 ] If the electric fan is wrong operating, never repair by yourself. For safety and efficient use, contact your nearest service center approved by SHARP.
[ 3 ] If the power cord or plug is damaged. The power cord must be replaced by the manufacturer, its aftersales service or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
[ 4 ] Unplug every time before start to clean the parts or when you do not use the electric fan anymore.
[ 5 ] Never share the wall outlet with other appliances.
[ 6 ] Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
[ 7 ] This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

BLADE AND GRILLE ASSEMBLING PROCESS

a)

1. Tenon

Remark: To assemble the blade, splice the mortise to the tenon of the rotor axis, then lock with the lock nut (For blade).

b) Before the assembling process, take off:

1. Lock nut
   (For blade)

2. Lock nut
   (For rear grille)

c) Assemble the front grille.

(1)Assemble the front grille to the mortise at the rear grille.

(2) Splice and press both grilles together.

(3) Push the locking arm to lock.

CAUTION

If the grilles and blade are not tightly assembled, the unit will be shaking.

INSTALLATION GUIDES

Preparation for installation area

– Space needed for installation.

1. Holdfast

The distance from wall (A) is more than 34 cm.
The distance from ceiling (B) is more than 48 cm.
– The unit should be installed or fixed on the wall with strong structure, which is able to support the fan’s weight of not less than 40 kg.
– The wall should be at least 1/2 inches thick.

How to install the electric fan on the wall

– Make a mark of the holdfast on the wall where you want to install the electric fan, and drill the hole accordingly.
– Insert the wall anchors into the holes.
– Install the holdfast on the wall by fixing it tightly with 2 screws.
– Hang the electric fan on the holdfast. Make sure that the guiding slot is fit perfectly on the holdfast.
– Tighten the screws to fit the electric fan with the holdfast.
– The electric fan is to be installed so that the blades are more than 2.3 meters above the floor.

USE INDICATION

Be sure that the rated voltage is 220V only before use.

1. Plug in tightly.
2. Pull ON-OFF String to turn on, turn off, and to adjust the electric fan speed.

Swing control

1. Swing string
2. ON – OFF String

Pull swing string to let the electric fan swine left right and pull this string once again when you would like the electric fan to stop swing.

Swing direction

Press or push the motor unit up or down.

Push the rotor unit to the left or right direction in 3 strokes.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Unplug every time before start to clean the part.
Blade, front grille and rear grille

• Remove and wipe with damp cloth with water then dried up with the cloth.
• Wipe with damp cloth using water or mild soapy liquid.
• Be careful with water entering the electric parts or motor.

Remark

• Be careful with water entering the electric parts or moter.
• Avoid using clean with chemical substance, alcohol, thinner and kerosene etc, as this might damage the surface and shape of unit.
