- Non-observance of the following notes may result in personal injury or material damage (electric shock, skin burns, fire). The following safety and hazard information is not only intended to protect your health and the health of others, but it should also protect the product. For this reason, pay attention to these safety notes and include these instructions when handing over the product to others.
- Carefully check the heat pad before each use, if you notice wear or damage.
- Do not use if you notice wear, damage, or signs of improper use on the device, the switch, or the cables or if the device is not working.
- Before connecting the device to your power supply, please ensure that the supply voltage stated on the rating plate is compatible with your main supply.
- Do not fold or crease the heat pad during use.
- Neither pierce the pad with nor attach safety pins or other spiky or sharp objects to the pad.
- Do not use the device on children or persons who are disabled, asleep, or insensitive to heat (persons who cannot react to overheating).
- Children below the age of 3 years are not allowed to use this device, because they are not able to react to overheating.
- The device must not be used by young children over the age of 3 years unless the control unit has been adjusted accordingly by its parents or legal guardians or unless the child has been well instructed on how to use the control unit properly.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards evolved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Never use the pad unsupervised.
- The device is only for private use and is not to be used in hospitals.
- The electrical and magnetic fields emitted by this heat pad may interfere with the function of a pacemaker. However, they are still well below the limits: electrical field strength: max. 5000 V/m, magnetic field strength: max. 80 A/m, magnetic flux density: max. 0.1 millitesla. Please, therefore, consult your doctor and the manufacturer of your pacemaker before using this heat pad.
- Do not fall asleep while the heat pad is switched on.
- Prolonged use of the heated cushion at a high setting could lead to skin burns.
- Do not cover the pad with any other cushions. The control switch should not be covered or placed on or below the pad while the unit is in operation.
- Do not sit on the heat pad. Instead, rest the pad on or against the part of the body to be treated. The intended use of the is to treat only the back and neck.
- Never touch a heating pad that has fallen into the water. Unplug the unit from the main outlet immediately.
- Keep the mains lead away from hot surfaces.
- Never carry, pull or turn the heat pad by the mains lead, and do not let the lead get tangled.
- Do not use the heat pad when wet and only use it in dry environments (not in the bathroom or similar environments).
- The controls and leads must not be exposed to any kind of moisture.
- If a fault occurs, do not attempt to repair the unit yourself. Repairs must only be carried out by an authorized specialist dealer or other suitably qualified personnel.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- A damaged power supply cable must be replaced with a power cable of the same type.
- Heat pad may only be operated with the control unit (SS19) supplied.
- When storing the heat pad, allow it to cool down before folding.
- Should you have any concerns about health issues, consult your doctor before using the heat pad.
- Do not use the heat pad on parts of the body that are swollen, injured, or inflamed.
- Should you experience persistent pains in the muscles and joints, please inform your doctor. Persistent pains can be a symptom of serious illness.
- If you experience any pain or discomfort while using the unit, stop using it immediately.

The heating pad is only intended for heating the human body.
OPERATION

CAUTION!
- The heating pad has been provided with a SAFETY SYSTEM. This sensor technology prevents overheating of the heating pad on the entire surface through automatic deactivation in case of breakdowns. When the SAFETY SYSTEM has switched off the heating pad, the temperature levels in activated condition are no longer lighted.
- Do note that for reasons of safety the heating pad can no longer be used after a breakdown and should be sent to the indicated service address.
- Never connect the faulty heating pad to a different control of the same type. This would also ensure a final deactivation through the safety system in the control.
Use
CAUTION!
Make sure the heating pad does not fold or crumple during use.
- First connect the control to the connection point in the heating pad by connecting the plug.
- Then insert the plug in the socket.
Positioning the heating pad
The exclusive shape of this heat pad was developed specifically for use on the
back and neck. Position the heat pad on the back so that the hook and loop
fastener on the neck part is in line with your neck.
Then close the hook and loop fastener. Adjust the length of the abdominal belt
so that you are comfortable and fasten the buckle by fitting one end into the
other.
Switching on
Press the ON/OFF button ****to switch on the heating pad. The display switches
on – position 1 – deactivation time 90 minutes. To set the required heating
position, press the + button. To lower the required heating position, press
the – button.
Setting the heating position
Position 1: minimum heating – suitable for long-term use
Positions 2-5: separately adjustable heating
Position 6: maximum heating
ATTENTION
The heating pad heats up the fastest when you first switch on a higher
temperature position.
ATTENTION
The heating pad has been provided with turbo heating, which ensures quick
heating within the first 10 minutes.
WARNING:
If the heating pad is used for several hours, we recommend setting the lowest
heating position (position 1) to prevent the user’s body part to be heated
from overheating and prevent possible potential burns to the skin or heat
stroke.
Automatic deactivation function
This heating pad has been provided with an automatic deactivation function.
This means that the supply of heat is stopped approx. 30, 60, or 90 minutes
after the heating pad was activated. Repeatedly press the TIMER button to set
the automatic deactivation at the required time – 30, 60, or 90 minutes.
Once the set time has expired, the heating pad is switched off. The display is
off.
To be able to use the heating pad again, the ON/OFF button **should be
pressed first in order to switch on the heating pad.
Select the required heating position and deactivation time.
Switching off
Press the ON/OFF button **to switch off the heating pad. The display no
longer lights up.
ATTENTION
If the heating pad is not used for a number of days, you must switch it off
with the ON/OFF button and remove the plug from the socket. Then disconnect
the control from the heating pad by removing the plug.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING
- Before cleaning the pad, unplug it from the mains outlet and let it cool down for at least ten minutes.
- The heating pad is equipped with a detachable cable. Disconnect the plug and remove the cable from the heating pad.
- You may wash the heating pad gently by hand. The best way to do this is to put the heating pad in a bath with lukewarm water and some mild detergent and then gently squeeze it out.
- Rinse the heating pad several times to remove all the detergent.
- Store the unit in a clean and dry place, laid out flat with nothing covering or resting on top of it.
- Only use the appliance once it is completely dry.
DISPOSAL
**** Do not dispose this product as unsorted municipal waste. Collection of such waste separately for special treatment is necessary. To return your used device, please use the return and collection system or contact the retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product for environment safe recycling.
