physical setup

Suitable for doors of 80-110cm wide by 200-240cm high.

  1. Position the two strap loops around the bottom corners of the door.
  2. Adjust the straps as needed to the door’s width.

  4. Fasten the top and bottom straps, adjusting the buckle as needed.
  5. Connect the controller to the power adapter and plug it into a power source.
  6. Enjoy your Twinkly light.

Safety instructions

  1. Read and follow all instructions that are on the product or provided with the product.
  2. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
  3. This is an electric product — not a toy! To avoid the risk of fire, burns, personal injury, and electric shock it should not be played with or placed where small children can reach it.
  4. Do not use seasonal products outdoors unless marked suitable for indoor and outdoor use. When products are used in outdoor applications, connect the product to a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupting (GFCI) outlet. If one is not provided, contact a qualified electrician for proper installation.

  12. Do not hang ornaments or other objects from the cord, wire, or light string.
  13. Do not cover the product with cloth, paper, or any material not part of the product when in use.
  14. Do not limit the flow of air around the product to avoid heat accumulation.
  15. Do not close doors or windows on the product or extension cords as this may damage the wire insulation.
  16. Do not use it in countries other than that for which the product was designed.
  17. Do not use it in places where there is a risk of electric shock.
  18. Do not connect the chain to the supply while it is in the packing.
  19. Where breakage or damage to lamps occurs the chain must not be used/energised but disposed of safely.
  20. The lamps are not replaceable.
  21. WARNING – RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK IF LAMPS ARE BROKEN OR MISSING. DO NOT USE.

Use and care instructions

  1. Before using or reusing, inspect the product carefully. Discard any products that have cut, damaged, or frayed wire insulation or cords, cracks in the lamp holders or enclosures, loose connections, or exposed copper wire.
  2. When storing the product, carefully disassemble it to avoid any undue strain or stress on the product conductors, connections, and wires.
  3. When not in use, store neatly in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight.
  4. If the external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire is damaged, it shall be exclusively replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
  5. The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life the whole luminaire shall be replaced.
  6. Do not modify the device, so as not to invalidate the certification.
  7. Do not place metallic/conductive objects near the exposed contacts of the product
  8. Do not allow children to use the product without supervision.
  9. Do not clean the device when it is connected to power.

Do not mount or support wires in a manner that can cut or damage wire insulation.

Do not connect the light string to the power supply while it is in the packaging. The connecting cable cannot be repaired or replaced. THE LAMPS ARE NOT REPLACEABLE. The lighting chain must not be used without all gaskets being in place. Lighting chains don’t intend for interconnection. Do not connect this light string electrically to devices from another manufacturer. CAUTION! Strangulation hazard. Keep out of reach of young children.

Home Wi-Fi network connection

Twinkly uses Bluetooth for the setup process only. Wi-Fi connection is required for operation. You can use:

Connect with your home/office WiFi from the list of available networks.

Direct Wi-Fi connection

Wi-Fi connection is required for operation. You can use:
Direct Wi-Fi connection: Select “Twinkly_xxxxxx” WiFi from the list of available networks. Password: Twinkly2019 (NOTE: the internet on your phone will not be available in this case)

Reset twinkly

  1. Unplug Twinkly from the power socket. Press and hold the controller button.
  2. While holding the button, plug in Twinkly.
  3. Keep holding the button until all LEDs turn red (or amber for Gold Edition), then release the button.
