Product Information

The product is the Stone Series Light Fixture, model S21S. It is a lighting fixture that requires an integrated lamp/ballast (SBCFL) for operation. The fixture comes with all the necessary hardware for installation.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Before installation, carefully inspect the fixture to ensure it was not damaged during shipment and that all the hardware is included.
2. Disconnect the main power supply at the breaker box. Do not turn off the power at the wall switch only. This is important to avoid serious injury.
3. Install the integrated lamp/ballast (SBCFL) specified for this fixture. Grasp the plastic base of the lamp, insert the pins into the socket, and rotate clockwise until secure.
4. Connect the wiring according to the provided diagram:
   • Connect the black wire to the black wire.
   • Connect the white wire to the white wire.
   • Connect the green or bare ground wire to the green or bare ground wire using a wire nut or other acceptable connector.
5. Turn on the main power supply.

Ballast and Lamp Replacement Instructions:
The product contains an integrated Lamp/Ballast combination. To replace the lamp, follow these steps:

1. Grasp the plastic area on each side of the bulb area and rotate counterclockwise to remove the old lamp/ballast.
2. Replace with a MAX 26W SBCFL(GU-24) lamp that is marked with the UL and C, US Logo.
3. Ensure that the replacement lamp is marked as “Not for use where directly exposed to water” and not for use in a totally enclosed luminaire.
4. Note that the lamp contains Mercury. Follow proper disposal laws. Visit www.lamprecycle.org for more information.

BEFORE INSTALLATION

1. Please check to see that your fixture was not damaged during shipment, and that you received all the hardware needed for installation. While we strive for perfection, accidents do happen. If you have a problem or are missing any parts, please call us at 1-877-870-9283 immediately.
2. CAUTION: Disconnect main power at the breaker box before beginning installation. Do not turn power off at the wall switch only. Failure to properly disconnect the main power supply may result in serious injury.
3. CAUTION: Install the appropriate size lamp in your Stone fixture. Do not exceed the manufacturer’s maximum wattage restrictions.
4. SPECIAL NOTE: For easier installation, it is recommended the two (2) people be used when making the electrical connections and mounting the fixture.

HARDWARE

INSTALLATION

Disconnect main power supply at the breaker box. DO NOT turn power off at the wall switch only.
CAUTION: FAILURE TO DISCONNECT MAIN ELECTRICAL POWER MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY.

Install integrated lamp/ballast (SBCFL). Use SBCFL specified on fixture. Grasp the plastic base, insert pins into socket and rotate clockwise until secure.

This fixture may have an integral photo sensor that turns the fixture off during the day and on at night. The photo sensor is not adjustable. The fixture could possibly cycle on and off due to light reflected from nearby surfaces into the photo sensor. If cycling occurs, remove the photo sensor nut and install the swivel hood and base. The hood and base are adjustable. The hood can be rotated and the base can be cut along the dotted line to reduce overall length. Check operation before cutting the base.
