Product Information

The MS easy stirrer is a stirring system designed to keep small particles in suspension during dosing into water lines. It is specifically designed for use with powder products that are soluble in diluted form but need to be held in suspension in the stock solution to prevent them from settling at the bottom of the container. The system consists of a drive box, a 220-230V DC transformer, and a magnetic follower. It is recommended to use a flat-bottomed plastic stock container for optimal results.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Ensure that the drive box, transformer, and magnetic follower are all properly connected.
2. Place the MS easy stirrer on a flat and stable surface, such as the floor or any other convenient location.
3. Do not stand on the drive box as it may cause damage.
4. If the follower becomes disengaged from the drive magnet, turn off the power and then turn it back on a couple of times to relocate the follower.
5. When not in use, place the follower magnet on the center of the top surface of the drive box. This will help preserve the strength of the magnets.
6. Ensure that the powder product is properly diluted in the water line before dosing it into the stock container.
7. Place the diluted solution into a flat-bottomed plastic stock container.
8. Turn on the MS easy stirrer system to start stirring and keep the particles in suspension.
9. Monitor the stirring process to ensure that the particles remain evenly suspended throughout.
10. After use, clean and store the MS easy stirrer system in a safe and dry place.

General

The MS easy stirrer is designed as a stirring system for keeping small particles in suspension during dosing into water lines. Many powder products are soluble in the dilutions available in the water line, but can only be held in suspension (rather than in a diluted form) in the stock solution. These suspended particles will tend to fall to the bottom of the stock container unless stirred continuously.

The Equipment
The MS easy stirrer system comprises the drive box, a 220-230V DC transformer and a magnetic follower. It is important to use a flat-bottomed plastic stock container in order to achieve the best results.

Operation

1. Place magnetic follower into stock container.
2. Position the stock container on the drive box ensuring that the follower locks on to the drive magnet in the center of the drive box.
3. Add required amount of water to the stock container (max. 20 liters)
4. Connect the color-coded connections between the drive box and the transformer. The follower will spin and commence stirring. A small vortex will appear at the water surface.
5. Add product to be dosed. This can either be gently mixed in using a hand stirring implement, or allow the MS easy stirrer to gradually incorporate the product.
6. Once all product has been incorporated and stirring is underway, dosing can commence.

Note
If follower becomes disengaged from the drive magnet, turning the power off and then on again a couple of times will normally relocate the follower.
The MS easy stirrer can either be placed on the floor or other convenient surface for operation. DO NOT STAND ON THE DRIVE BOX.
The MS easy stirrer has been designed for normal on-farm or other light industrial use. However, dropping the drive box or other similar mis-treatment may void warranty.
WHEN NOT IN USE, THE FOLLOWER MAGNET SHOULD BE PLACED ON THE CENTRE OF THE TOP SURFACE OF THE DRIVE BOX. THIS WILL PRESERVE THE STRENGTH OF THE MAGNETS.
