Product Information

The Series Power Entry Module EMI Filters by DVE are easy-to-install units that incorporate an IEC connector, single or double-fuse holder (IEC 5 x 20mm), double-pole power switch, and an EMI filter. These power modules are UL recognized, CSA certified, and VDE approved.

The switch electrical lifetime is 10,000 cycles, and the maximum inrush current is 50A. The components of the power entry module filters are listed below:

The specifications of the power entry module filters are as follows:

  1. Maximum leakage current each line-to-ground @ 115VAC 60Hz: 0.2mA @ 250VAC 50Hz: 0.4mA
  2. Hipot rating (one minute) line-to-ground: 2250VDC line-to-line: 1450VDC
  3. Operating frequency: 50/60Hz
  4. Rated voltage: 115/250VAC

The electrical schematic shows the minimum insertion loss in dB for common mode (L-G) and differential mode (L-G) in a 50-ohm system.

The power entry module filters are available in different types and rated currents. The Delta part numbers and their corresponding rated currents are:

Product Usage Instructions

To install the power entry module EMI filters, follow these steps:

  1. Identify the appropriate part number based on the required rated current and voltage.
  2. Ensure that the power is disconnected before proceeding with the installation.
  3. Mount the power entry module in a suitable location using the suggested mounting cutout dimensions provided in the manual.
  4. Connect the IEC connector to the power source.
  5. If using a double-fuse holder configuration, insert the fuses into the holder.
  6. Switch on the double-pole power switch to activate the power supply.

INTRODUCTIONS
