Product Usage Instructions
- Before adjusting, cleaning, or removing the diffuser, always switch off the mains supply to ensure safety.
- If the LED driver needs to be replaced, obtain a suitable replacement driver that matches all technical specifications of the existing item.
- To connect the input cables, use the terminal marked ‘PRI’. Connect the Blue cable to ‘N’ and the Brown cable to ‘L’.
- To connect the output cables, use the terminal marked ‘SEC’. Connect the Red cable to ‘+’ and the Black cable to ‘-‘.
- The light source of this product cannot be replaced due to the risk of damaging the LED chips.
- To release the product, push down on the ends.
Note: The LED module is protected by a shade. If the shade is damaged, it must be replaced immediately.

- To prevent electrocution switch off at mains supply before installing or maintaining this fitting. Ensure other persons cannot restore the electrical supply without your knowledge. If you are in any doubt, please consult a qualified electrician.
- This light fitting should be connected to a circuit with a 30mA RCD fitted.
- If replacing an existing fitting, make a careful note of the connections.
- Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist.
- Check with your local authority or retailer for recycling advice.

Layout
- Plan the desired layout of this fitting carefully, ensuring the cables will reach the distance between the junction box and the light fitting.
- Avoid locating any cables in positions that would cause a hazard. Position cables and junction boxes (not supplied) away from areas where they may be at risk from being cut, trapped or damaged.
- The mains supply cable must have a minimum cross sectional area of 1.0mm2
- Cables must be protected using suitable conduit or plastic trunking.

If this unit is being fitted in a room containing a bath or shower, a 30mA RCD

Installation
Existing fittings must be completely removed before installation of a new product. Before removing the existing fitting, carefully note the position of each set of wires.

The help of an assistant is recommended when installing this fitting.

See Fig. 1. Detach the back panel from the product by removing the two screws. Keep safe for refitting later.

See Fig. 2. Pull the diffuser off the front of the product.
(Push down on the ends of the product to release). -
Using the shaver light as a template, hold the product in place and mark the position of the fixing holes. Ensure that the product is level.

Ensure the wall is capable of holding the weight of the product. Take care to avoid damaging any concealed wiring and pipes. The correct fixings should be used for brick, cavity walls or plasterboard.

Wiring
Having correctly identified the wiring from your existing light fitting, pull the wire through the hole and connect to the connection block inside the product in the following way:
Check that…
- You have correctly identified the wires
- The connections are tight
- No loose strands have been left out of the connection block.
Commissioning
- Refit back panel using screws set aside earlier
- See Fig. 3. Attach the shaver light to the wall using the holes drilled earlier and the supplied fixings.
- Refit the diffuser.
- Replace fuse or circuit breaker and switch on.
Your light is now ready for use.
Using the shaver socket
The shaver socket is powered by a IOW isolating transformer and is only
intended for use with electric shavers,electric toothbrush chargers and
related products. Any appliance connected to the socket must not exceed the
IOW power output as this could cause damage and overheating to occur. Always
check your appliance instructions to ensure the power requirements are less
than IOW and to determine the correct voltage (115V or 230V) to use.
Failure to use the correct socket could damage your appliance and the shaver
socket, or both.
To switch between 115V and 230V on the shaver socket press the rocker switch
which is located on the bottom of the product.
The shaver socket is permanently live. The pull switch only controls the light.
Care and cleaning
We recommend cleaning with a soft dry cloth.
Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners as these could damage the finish.
Recycling advice
Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste.
Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your Local Authority or
retailer for recycling advice.
Safety information
For your safety, always switch off the mains supply before adjusting or cleaning and before removing the diffuser.
The LED module is protected by a shade. This part must be replaced immediately should the shade become cracked or damaged. This fitting must not be used without the shade in place.
LED driver replacement
Obtain suitable replacement driver – ensuring all technical specifications
match the existing item.
- Connect the input cables to terminal marked ‘PRI’
