We ask you to read the operating instructions before usage thoroughly. The
consideration of recommendations protects you from possible inconveniences
which can appear as a result of the wrong use of the cooking hobs, and allows
you to reduce the consumption of electrical energy. If the use corresponds to
the present operating instructions, the cooking hob will bring you a lot of
pleasure for a long time.

environment protection, according to the directives of the EU which is
confirmed with certificates DIN ISO 9001, ISO 1400, according to the norms

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance complies with statutory safety requirements.
Inappropriate use can, however, lead to personal injury and damage to
property.
Please read this instruction carefully before using the appliance for the
first time, to avoid the risk of accidents and damage of the appliance. The
instruction contains important notes about installation, safety, use and
maintenance of the appliance. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for
damage caused by non-compliance of this instruction.
Keep this instruction in a safe place. Pass it on to any future owner of the
appliance.
TECHNICAL SAFETY
Installation of this appliance must be performed only by a licensed specialist
Check the appliance for visible signs of damage before using it. If the
appliance has been damaged in transport, do not connect it. Never use a
damaged appliance! It could be dangerous!
Repairs should be performed by a licensed technician only. Improper repair may
result in considerable danger to you and others. If your appliance needs
repair, contact a Service Centre or your dealer.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Electrical leads and cables must not be touching the appliance.
The appliance should be connected to the mains power supply by means of an
approved circuit breaker or fuse.
Never use multiple plug adapters or extension leads to connect appliance to
the mains electricity supply.
The power supply of the appliance should be turned off before repair or clean.
Unattended cooking on a hob with fat or oil can be dangerous and may result in
fire.
Danger of fire: do not store items on the cooking surfaces.
Never try to extinguish a fire with water, but switch off the appliance and
then cover flame e.g. with a lid or a fire blanket.
If the surface is cracked, switch off the appliance to avoid the possibility
of electric shock. The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an
external timer or separate remote-control system.
Attention! Appliance interior will become hot during of use. Your
children must be kept away from it.
CHILD SAFETY
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person slide for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure, that they do not play with the
appliance.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
It is not allowed to climb, stand, lean, sit, or hang on any part of the
appliance. This can damage the appliance, and the device may tip over,
potentially causing severe injury.
Attention! Do not use steam cleaning devices to clean this appliance. The
steam could reach electrical components and cause a short circuit..
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
INSTALLATION OF THE COOKING HOB
These Instructions are for the qualified technician, as a guide to the
installation, adjustment and maintenance, according to the laws and standards
in force.
Any of these operations must always be carried out when the appliance has been
disconnected from the electric system.
The cooking hob should be fitted into the counter top as illustrated on the
figure. Apply the supplied seal 1 over the whole perimeter of the hob if it
has not been preinstalled.
Attention! To install the appliance is not recommended the use of the
silicone or other sealants and other adhesives besides the supplied mounting
materials. If additional fastening materials and substances have been used,
the removing the device from the mounting niche in case of necessary service
is provided by and at the expense of the owner. The manufacturer and the
customer services are not responsible for damages of equipment and furniture
because of the disassembling.
Attention! Installation and ellectrical connection of the cooking hob
must be made by a qualified expert only.
Attention! Check again before installation the fit sizes of the hob to
avoid possible mistakes during installation.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Before connecting the cooking hob to the mains power supply, make sure that:
- the plant characteristics are such as to follow what is indicated on the matrix plate placed at the bottom of the working area,
- the mains supply has an efficient ground connection complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
Correct grounding is a legal requirement. If the appliance is not pre-fitted
with a power cable and/ or plug, use only suitable cables and plugs capable of
handling the power specified on the appliance’s data plate and capable of
resisting heat. The power cable should never reach a temperature 50 °C above
ambient temperature at any point along its length.
If the appliance is to be connected directly to mains terminals, fit a switch
with minimum aperture of 3 mm between the contacts. Make sure that the switch
is of sufficient capacity for the power specified on the appliance’s data
plate, and compliant with applicable regulations. The switch must not break
the greenyellow earth wire.
The socket or switch must be easily reachable with the cooking hob fully
installed.
Attention! Do not use the appliance if the power cable is damaged, if the
cooking hob does not function correctly or if it has been damaged or dropped.
Contact the customer service.
Attention! This cooking hob is exclusively for domestic use! Use the oven
only for preparing meals.
Attention! The manufacturer declines all responsibility for damage or
injury if the above instructions and normal safety precautions are not
respected.
SAFETY NOTES
Owing to the very fast reaction at the high power setting (max. power
setting), do not use the cooking hob without supervision!
During cooking pay attention to the heat-up speed of the cooking zone.
Avoiding boiling the pots dry as there is a risk of the pots overheating!
Do not place empty pots and pans on cooking zones which have been switched on.
Take care when using simmering pans for the simmering water may dry up
unnoticed, resulting in damage to the pot and to the hob, in the event of
which no liability will be assumed.
Immediately switch off the cooking zone after using with the respective sensor
key ON/ OFF, 1 and not just by pan recognition.
Overheated fats and oils may spontaneously ignite.
Prepare meals with greases and oils only under control.
Never extinguish ignited fats and oils with water! Put the lid on the pan and
switch off the cooking zone. The glass ceramic hob is extremely robust. Avoid
dropping hard objects onto the glass ceramic hob.
Pointed objects falling onto your hob might break it.
If cracks, fractures or any other defects appear in your glass ceramic hob,
immediately switch off the appliance. Call the Customer service.
If the cooking hob cannot be switched off due to a defect in the sensor
control immediately disconnect your appliance from the mains supply and call
the Customer service.
Take care when working with attachments! The connecting cable must not contact
the hot cooking zones.
The cooking hob should not be used as a storage area.
Metal objects, e.g. kitchen utensils, cutlery, must not be left on the surface
of the cooking hob as they can become hot.
Do not place combustible, volatile or heat deformable objects directly
underneath the hob.
Do not put kitchen foil or plastic onto the cooking zone.
Keep everything which could melt, such as plastics, foil and in particular
sugar and sugary foods away from the hot cooking zone. Remove sugar
immediately from the hob when it is still hot with a scraper to avoid damage
Take care with metal objects which are worn on the body if they come into the
direct vicinity of the cooking hob as they can become hot.
Do not heat any unopened food cans or laminated packing on the cooking hob.
There is a risk of bursting! Be especially careful to keep the sensor keys
clean since soiling could be mistaken for finger contact by the appliance.
Never put anything (pans, tea towels etc.) onto the sensor keys! If food
boils over onto the sensor keys, we advise you to activate the OFF key 1.
Hot pans should not cover the sensor keys, otherwise the appliance switches
itself off automatically. In this case the oven automatically shuts off.
If there are any pets in the apartment which could come near the cooking hob,
activate the child lock.
People who are not familiar with the built-in cooking hob must only be allowed
to operate it under supervision.
Generally keep little children away from the appliance and never allow them to
play with the appliance.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children
should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
The instructions shall state that appliances are not intended to be operated
by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.

USAGE
COOKING ZONES CONTROL
Turning the Touch Control ON/ OFF
After mains voltage is applied the control initializes for approx. 1 second
before it is ready for operation.
- Touch the ON/ OFF key 1 to turn on the hob’s control.
It comes a sound signal. The displays of the heating fields and of the timer
show the symbols 2 (0), the symbols . (dots) 3 blink. If a cooking zone has
residual heat, the display shows a symbol H, 4.
After a reset all displays and LEDs glow for approx. 10 seconds. When this
time is over all displays and LEDs extinguish and the control is in the stand-
by mode.
If the child lock feature was active when switching on by touching the key 5,
the a symbol 6 is indicated (also refer to Key lock).
When the Touch Control is ON it can be turned-OFF at any time by operating the
ON/ OFF key 1. This is also valid if the control has been locked (activated
child lock feature).
The ON/ OFF key 1 has always priority in the turn-OFF function.
When the control is ON it automatically turns-OFF after 10 seconds if no
cooking zone or select key has been operated within this period of time.
If a cooking zone has been selected with heating level 0., in 5 seconds it
will be deactivated.
Turning a cooking zone ON and OFF
If the control is ON the respective cooking zone can be selected by operating
a cooking zone select keys 7 of the respective cooking zone.
Cooking zone control
-
Select a heating zone by buttons 1, 2, 3 or 4.
It comes a sound signal. On the heating zone’s display 5 (as sample) lights up the indicator 6, the correspondent indicator 7 blinks – the heating zone is activated: it can be selected a heating level, set the timer. -
Select the heating level for a heating element by touching the buttons 8 and 9 (+ and –).
Touching the keys 8 and 9 emits the sound signals. A digit of the required heating level lights up on the display 5 (as sample). The heating element begins to heat up.
After reaching the required heating level the heating elements turn off to save power. To maintain the temperature corresponding to the selected heating level, heating elements are turn on automatically.
Dual cooking zone
You can turn on as an smaller heating element alone, as together with the
bigger element at the same time.
- Select a heating zone by buttons 2 or 3.
- Select the heating level for smaller heating element of the dual zone by touching the buttons 8 and 9 (+ and –).
- Touch the key 10 to turn on the bigger heating element of the dual zone.
The indicator 11 lights up. It comes a sound signal. The bigger heating
element is heated to the level chosen for the smaller element.
After reaching the required heating level the heating elements turn off to
save power. To maintain the temperature corresponding to the selected heating
level, heating elements are turn on automatically.
Automatic heat-up function
When the automatic heat-up function is activated the wattage of the cooking
zone is at 100% for a certain heat-up time which is dependent on the selected
(continious) setting.
At the end of the heat-up time the electronic control switches back to the
preselected simmering setting.
Starting process of the automatic heat-up
Control is ON and a cooking zone will be selected.
- Touch a cooking zone key, 1 – as sample.
- Touch the key 2 (+) to get an output level on display 3.
- Release the key 2.
- Touch the key 2 (+) once more to get the automatic heat-up process.
- Now you can choose an output level by touching the keys 4 (-) and 2 (+).
The chosen setting appears in the display 3.
A couple of seconds after the last key operation (selection of the setting)
and after activation of the heatup function, the symbol (which stands for the
heat-up boost) blinks on the display 3, in alternation with the chosen output
level setting. If a lower setting will be selected with the key 4 (-) after
the has appeared in the display, the automatic heat-up function will be
interrupted.
By touching of the key 2 (+) a higher continious setting can be chosen, here
the duration of the heat-up boost will be automatically adapted to the actual
selected setting.
When the heat-up time is over, the selected (continious) setting will be
indicated on the display.
Key lock (child safety feature)
To avoid the undesirable use, the hob’s control may be blocked.
To do this:
- Touch and hold the key 1 for about one second.
It emits a beep. The indicator 2 lights up.
While the lock is engaged, all operation of the keys is disabled, with the exception of the OFF key 3.
If the child lock function has been activated before turning off the hob then by the next turning on the hob, the child lock will be activated.
Cancelling the child lock
To do this:
- Touch and hold the key 1 during one second approximately.
The LED 2 turns off and it comes a sound signal. All keys are unblocked.
Safety shutdown Safety Guard
If you didn’t turn off one or several cooking zones after use the hob, then
they will turn off automatically after elapsing a maximal working time one of
them. In this case the indicators of the corresponding zones 4 show symbols H.

Timer function
This function also simplifies operation by not requiring human supervision
during the cooking cycle. Once the set time on the timer has elapsed, the
cooking zone will be switched off automatically.
If no zone has been programmed, the timer simply operates as a minute counter
(see the section «Using the timer as a minute counter»).
Using the timer function
-
Select a heating zone by touching the correspondent button 1.
It comes a sound signal. On the heating zone’s display 2 (as sample) lights up the indicator 3, the correspondent indicator 4 blinks – the heating zone is activated: it can be selected a heating level, set the timer. -
Select a power level between 1 and 9 by touching the buttons 5 or 6 (+ or –).
It come sound signals.The power level value changes on display 2.

Touch the key 7 to change the timer statement.
It comes a sound signal. The timer display 8 shows the actual statement. -
Select the cooking time between 0 to 99 minutes by touching the keys 5 or 6 (+ or –). Press and hold down the key 5 or 6 (+ or –) to scroll the time setting.
It come sound signals. The decimal point 4 of the relative heating zone illuminates. It informs that timer has been activated. The timer function will start up automatically for the selected heating zone only.
The timer function can be applied to many heating zones at the same time. The indicators around the timer display 8 show which heating zones for the timer function has been applied. The display 8 indicates the shortest time, the decimal point of relative heating zone 4 (as sample) blinks, other indicators 9 illuminate. When the set time has elapsed, an acoustic signal is emitted, the heating zone turns off. On the timer display 8 blinks 00.
Deactivating the timer
To interrupt the timer, proceed as follows:
- Touch the 1 (–) key to reset the time.
The timer indicator should show statement 2 ( ).OO
Using the timer as a minute counter
When the timer function is not programmed, the timer display can be used
simply to minute counter. After elapsing time it emits a sound signal, which
can be turned off by touching any key.
When the displayed time elapses, the cooking zone will be not turned off.
Setting the minute counter
When the unit is off:
- Touch the ON key 3.
- Touch the timer key 4.
When the unit is on, the heating zones are in use:
- Touch the timer key 4 two times.
The timer display shows statement 2 (OO). The symbol 5 under display blinks – the minute counter is ready for setting.
- Use the 6 (+) and 1 (–) keys to set the required time to be counted back.
The adjusted time is shown by display 2.
Deactivating the minute counter function
When the set time has elapsed, an acoustic signal is emitted.

To stop the sound signal touch any key.
To interrupt the minute counter, proceed as follows: -
Touch the 1 (–) key to reset the time.
The timer indicator should show statement 2 ( ).OO
The status of all functions remains as described above.
CARE AND ATTENDANCE
When one makes use of heating elements, we advise receptacles with flat bottom
having same diameter or lightly higher than that of the hot area.
Avoid overflows of liquid, therefore when boiling has happened, or in any case
when liquid is heated, reduce the heat supply.
Don’t leave the heating elements on without receptacles on the top or with
void pots and pans.
In the event of even a slight fracture on the cooking surface, disconnect the
electric power supply immediately and contact to the service centre.
Maintenance
First of all remove stray food bits and grease drops from the cooking surface
with the special scraper. Then clean the hot area as best as possible using
nonagressive detergent then rinse again with water and dry with a clean cloth.
Pieces of aluminum foil and plastic material which have inadvertently melted
or sugar remains or highly sacchariferous food have to be removed immediately
from the hot cooking area with the special scraper. -This is to avoid any
possible damage to the surface of the top.
In any case ,do not use for this purpose washcloths or rough cloth. Do not use
chemical reagents or acid cleaners.
Cyclic inspection
Besides the current maintenance, the user should ensure:
- Alternate check and maintenance of cooking hob,
- Cyclic inspection by the customer service once in two years after the warranty has expired,
- Repair of faults.
Note. Care and servicing as well as all kind of reparations are to be
carried out by authorized personnel only.
Attention! The user is responsible for good working order and correct
operation of the appliance. If the customer service is called because of an
operating mistake, the servicing costs are carried by the user even if the
warranty is still valid.
Damages caused by non-observance of the given instruction are not approved.
In case of a damage:
- Disconnect the appliance from the power supply,
- Contact the Customer Centre or another authorized organisation to order the servicing
RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
The documentation provided with this oven has been printed on chlorine free
bleached paper or recycled paper to show respect for the environment.
The packaging has also been designed to avoid environmental impact. Packaging
material is ecological and can be re-used or recycled.
By recycling the packaging, you will help save raw materials as well as
reducing the bulk of domestic and industrial waste.
Disposing of the packaging
Please dispose of the packaging that came with your appliance in an
environmentally friendly way.
Recycling in this way saves on resources and cuts down on waste.
Disposing of old appliances
The symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product may
not be treated as household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the
applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic
equipment.
By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent
potential negative consequences for the environment and human health, which
could otherwise be caused by inappropriate waste handling of this product.
For more detailed information about recycling of this product, please contact
your local city office, your household waste disposal service or the shop
where you purchased the product.
WARRANTY CONDITIONS FOR HOME APPLIANCES
- The warranty for a broken part is valid for the full period of 24 months from the day of purchase.
- The manufacturer only covers the servicing in the event of a manufacturer fault, such as but not limited to: inappropriate design, installation by technician, defective materials.
- This warranty applies only to products used for the following purposes: non-commercial, personal, family, residential, or household. For anything outside of these purposes, the warranty is only valid for 4 months from the date of purchase of the products.
- Repairs that qualify under this warranty guarantee are completely free including the cost of labour, and materials, transportation is determined by the relevant Kaiser servicing centre.
- Any questions or queries on the quality of the product will be assessed only after our servicing company checks the product. Any conclusions will only be reached based on the outcome of a servicing report.
- The product will only be exchanged within the warranty period in the situation that the servicing expert concludes that the product cannot be repaired or if the same product requires parts changed three times in total within the warranty period.
- In case of unnecessary or unjustified demands for customer service, we charge for our service the usual time consumption and transportation fees. Before you contact our customer service, please check whether it‘s a defect or error of a product or mistake of maintenance. Please take the time to communicate with the relevant Kaiser service center.
- Installation of the device should only be carried out by qualified professional persons. The customer is required to provide appropriate justification. Otherwise there is no entitlement to the grant of a guarantee.
- Only the distributor selling the products has the right to exchange the defected product for a new one.
- Liability under this warranty is limited to, unless otherwise specified by law is all referred to these above obligations.
WARRANTY NOT VALID WHEN:
- In the event of our products being damaged or experiencing some kind of fault from transport damage, due to incorrect installation by other than trained Kaiser technician or taking improper care of the products, connecting to the wrong power supply, the use of non-recommended cleaning agents and detergents. Any failure to comply with the instructions for operational use or if the product has been repaired or modified or installed by the customer and changed or removed the serial number will not qualify for the warranty conditions.
- Products being serviced by an unauthorized servicing company will not be valid for warranty.
- Product failures caused by reasons independent of the manufacturer, such as fluctuations in the power supply, external events such as nature or natural disasters, fire, insects or domestic and wild animals will not comply with the warranty conditions.
- If the glass or the ceramic glass on a product is broken or defected after installation, the customer will be held liable.
- Any damage scratches, cracks, and external mechanical faults caused during the operation by the customer.
- The damage of certain parts being caused by normal wear and tear such as (lamps, filters, etc.).
- Other external factors causing damage such as adjusting the products and cleaning.
- Any other damage caused by the fault of the user and which is not linked to faults caused by the manufacturer will not comply with the warranty agreement.
The unearthed devices are potentially dangerous.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damages which have caused by
improper use, the
incorrect installation, operation, application or maintenance.
