Safety Instructions & Operation Manual

Thank you for purchasing a JAVAC product.

Please read this operation manual carefully before use.
Only suitably qualified personnel should operate this equipment.

1.0 APPLICATION

JAVAC Portable Lifter is a professional equipment to lift heavy devices. The application is suitable for pipe equipment of freezing, air coolers, air conditioners, indoor machinery, water freezers, and electrical equipment.

2.0 WARNING AND CAUTION
WARNING SYMBOL

To maintain the operation in safety, the user shall read the cautions carefully. The cautions in the equipment will be indicated by the safety marks. The individual safety marks are as the followings:

SYMBOL WARNING

Electric Shock Danger

| Electric Shock Danger.

Danger of Belt Drive

| Danger of limbs and/or clothing drawn into the machine. Do not touch this area during operation of the machine.

Don’t Touch in Operation

| Warning for Danger of Hand Injury. Do not touch this area during operation of the machine.

Emergency Stop Push Button

| Emergency Stop Push Button. When the danger occurs, press this button. The machine will stop immediately.

Please check the Portable Lifter for these warning symbols and ensure they are kept visible and clearly readable. Failure to follow the instructions and safety precautions could result in serious equipment damage, serious personal injury and/or death. If the warning symbols have been damaged or have come off the machine, ensure they are replaced immediately.

CAUTION:
Failure usage or not following the instructions may be caused an injury seriously or worst in death. This manual shall be accessed by the user easily.

  • OPERATE the Portable Lifter by the professional with proper training only.
  • DO NOT use this equipment to lift people up or down.
  • DO NOT allow any person under the Portable Lifter during operation.
  • DO NOT lift any load down unless the loading area is no person and obstructions.
  • KEEP 3 meters clearance distance at least between any person and the Lifter during operation.
  • DO NOT use the Portable Lifter if any worn, frayed, kinked, or damaged steel cable is found.
  • DO NOT move the Portable Lifter during operation.
  • DO NOT operate the Portable Lifter on a moving surface or vehicle.
  • DO NOT exceed Portable Lifter loading capacity.
  • KEEP the Portable Lifter away from any electrical cables.
  • Do not grab the power supply cable or steel cable when the Portable Lifter is in use.
  • KEEP hands away from the Portable Lifter folding legs and other potential pinching point.
  • DO NOT place ladder or scaffolding against any part of the Portable Lifter
  • DO NOT disassemble and any parts of the Portable Lifter.
  • DO NOT operate the Portable Lifter out of the specifications in this manual.
  • PRESS the EMERGENCY STOP PUSH BUTTON and TURN OFF the power supply immediately if any problem occurs during operation.
  • DO NOT operate Portable Lifter under raining, strong winds, damp surroundings or on the wet ground.
  • Do NOT insert any objects or block the air vent of motor.
  • STORE the Portable Lifter on a flat surface. DO NOT place any heavy objects on it.

4.0 BEFORE STARTING
  • Ensure the legs fastened.
  • Ensure the loading placed in the centre of Platform.
  • Ensure the condition of level before raising.
  • Ensure the steel cable without any worn or frayed.
  • Ensure the steel cable railed without any obstructions causing unusual friction.
  • Ensure the manual handler not installed before operation.
  • Ensure the working area without any overhead obstructions or any possible hazards.
  • Ensure using correct power plug type before plugging into the socket.
  • Ensure the Emergency stop push button pulled up completely.
  • The gears may be engaged if the Emergency stop push button cannot be pulled up. To release it without loading on the Platform, press the Trigger button slightly as a soft starter by right hand; and spin the Emergency stop push button by left hand simultaneously.
5.0 SETUP AND CONTROL
SET UP
  • Take off the belt from a mast.

  • Loose the screw of Slide Ring to expend the Legs.

  • Tighten the screw of Slide Ring to fix the position of Legs.

  • Extend telescoping Legs by squeezing the trigger as shown in the picture by hand. It can be placed on stairway.

  • Ensure Ground Level is good.

  • Install the Platform on the top and tighten the screw as shown. Take off the belt and expand the Platform.

CONTROL
  • Shift the Lever to UP marking position and then press the Trigger button to lift.
  • Shift the Lever to DOWN marking position and then press the Trigger button to lift down.
  • Variable speed controls by Trigger button, Press Trigger button slightly for soft starting. Press Trigger button deeper for faster speed.

WARNING !
The Lever should be shifted to UP marking position all the time for lifting operation. Otherwise, it has a warning signal as Anti-Revise device working. The automatic overload breaker will sound like “Da, Da, Da, Da, …..”

The Portable Lifter will stop immediately although it has not reached the highest level.

In this situation, check the Lever firstly and shift it to the UP marking position.

The Platform will be going down firstly. Once it arrives the lowest level, it will start lifting once again.

  • When the unexpected situation happens, press the emergency stop push button and the Portable Lifter will stop operation immediately.
  • For manual operation, install the manual handler firstly and then rotate it for lifting.

WARNING !
Under manual operation, operator must be squatting below the basic height of Portable Lifter.

6.0 TROUBLE SHOOTING
  • Telescoping Mast
    For normal usage, it will be covered with dust or dirt. To avoid the stuck of cylinder and cannot operate. The Portable Lifter must be kept in proper lubrication.

Solution:
Check the mast having enough lubricated or not. To add it, grease an engine oil on the cylinder by brush.

  • Steel Cable
    Before operating, inspect any steel cable has been tearing or frayed. Stop using it at once if any tearing or frayed is found.
7.0 GUARANTEE

JAVAC warrants your Portable Lifter to be free from defects of materials or workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. JAVAC does not warrant any machine that has been subjected to misuse, negligence, accident, repaired or altered by anyone other than JAVAC. JAVAC’s liability is limited to machines returned to JAVAC, transportation prepaid, not later than thirty (30) days after the warranty period expires, and which JAVAC judges to have malfunctioned because of defective material or workmanship. JAVAC’s liability is limited to, at Its option, repairing or replacing the defective machine or part.

This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, whether of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose or otherwise. All such other warranties are expressly disclaimed. JAVAC shall have no liability in excess of the price paid to JAVAC for the machine plus return transportation charges prepaid. JAVAC shall have no liability for any incidental or consequential damages. All such liabilities are excluded.

JAVAC and or its Agents have the right to charge for costs incurred for incorrectly diagnosed customer warranty claims.
