MACHINE OPERATION
-
Add water to the machine
There are two ways to add water.
One is externally connected water. There is an external water inlet at the lower end of the back of the machine(the external water indicator will be on), another is to add water manually(the external water indicator will be off).
How to switch the two water-adding modes
In standby mode, long press «on / off» button for 3 seconds.
Open the back cover and add drinking water. The water surface should not be higher than the «full» mark. After adding water, cover the rear cover to prevent foreign matters from entering the water storage tank. -
Ice making operation
See the schematic diagram for operation keys and display
• Start the ice-making machine: Plug in the power plug, and the display screen will display the ambient temperature (such as 25 degrees Celsius, it will display «25»). The machine automatically replenishes water to the cold water tank. Press the «on/off» button, the machine starts to make ice (the «Ice making» indicator light will be on), and the display screen shows the time required for ice making (if «16» is displayed, means it will take 16 minutes for the end of this ice-making process).
• After the end of each ice-making, it enters into the deicing process, when the ice falls off from the evaporator, the ice guide plate is triggered to turn over once, and the next round ice-making will start. In the process of deicing, if the ice guide plate is not touched all the time, the machine will automatically stop deicing after 4 minutes and start the next round ice- making.
Note: Each round ice-making time is about 13-25 minutes. According to the ambient temperature and the added water temperature, each round ice-making time varies from 13-25 minutes.
Especially for the first time, due to the high water temperature in the water tank, the ice making time will be longer, but it will not exceed 30 minutes.
• Adjustment of ice thickness: when the thickness of ice cube is not ideal, it can be adjusted by «+ / -» on the control panel during the ice-making process. The number displayed on the screen is to increase or decrease the ice-making time, which is» 0 «by default. Pressing the «+» once will increase the ice- making time by one minute, and the corresponding ice cube will be thicker; pressing the «-» once will reduce the ice-making time by one minute, and the corresponding ice cube will be thinner. When the machine is powered on again, it will return to the default setting of «0».
Note: the current set time only changes the time of the next and subsequent ice-making cycles.
The transparency of ice cube is related to the water quality, so pure water or RO water is recommended.
• When the «Ice Full» indicator light flashes, the ice maker stops working. Removes the ice, the ice maker will start to work again within 3 minutes.
• When the «Add Water» indicator light flashes, it indicates the cold water tank is short of water, and the machine is in the state of waiting for water replenishment. If the water shortage lasts 2 minutes, the «Add Water» indicator light will be always on, and the ice maker will stop automatically. Then it needs to add water manually or check whether the external water connection is normal, after adding water, restart the machine. (The machine can not detect whether the water storage tank is short of water or whether the external water connection is normal.)
• Turn off the machine: In the process of ice making, press the «on / off» button on the control panel to turn off the machine. Then it will enter the standby mode.
Forced deicing: In the process of ice making, press the «Ice Shedding» button, and the machine will force deicing. When the ice falls off from the evaporator, the ice guide plate is triggered to turn over once, and the next round ice-making will start. In the process of deicing, if the ice guide plate is not touched all the time, the machine will automatically stop deicing after 4 minutes and start the next round ice-making. -
Automatic cleaning operation
Plug machine with the water tank full of water into the power plug. In standby mode, long press the «Timer/Clean» button for 3 seconds to enter the self- cleaning program (the «Clean» indicator light will be on), and the default self-cleaning time is 30 minutes.
Cancel self-cleaning: It takes about 30 minutes to complete a self-cleaning procedure. When the program is finished, the system will be automatically turned off; during the self-cleaning process, you can also press the « on/off « button to forcibly exit the self-cleaning program.
In order to ensure the hygienic requirements, please change the water every 24 hours and clean the water storage tank, cold water tank and inner tank every 3 days. -
Timing power on/off function operation:
Timing setting
Timing setting range: 1-24 hours
Timing turn off: when the machine is in the ice-making state, set the timing turn off.
Timing start: when the machine is in standby mode, set the timing to start.
HOW TO SET TIMING
In the mode of ice-making or standby, briefly press the «Timing/Clean» button
to enter the timing mode. At this moment, the «Timer» indicator light is on,
and the digital display is flashing. Then press the «+» button to adjust the
timing time you want, and each time you press it, the time increases by 1
hour, press the «- « means the opposite. In the process of time adjustment,
the display number is bouncing, if there is no action after 5 seconds, the
timing setting will take effect automatically and the number will stop
bouncing.
The display of «06» in the ice-making state means that the machine will
automatically turn off after 6 hours, and «06» in the standby mode means that
the machine will automatically start in 6 hours.
HOW TO CANCEL TIMING
After the machine is timed(the «Timer» indicator light is always on), press
briefly the «Timing/Clean» button can adjust the timing time. If press briefly
the «Timing/Clean» button 2 times, the timing will be canceled.(the «Timer»
indicator light will be off)
You can also directly press the «on / off» button forcibly cancel timing, but
it will also turn off the machine.
When the machine has a timing setting, the «Timer» indicator light is always
on.
Key points for attention when using the machine:
- Check the inside of the water storage tank and cold water tank to see if there are dirty impurities blocking up, affecting the water flow. Please clean them regularly.
- The lower the water temperature, the higher the ice production.
- The lower the ambient temperature of the machine, the greater the ice production.
- The quality of the water used will affect the service life of the circulating water pump of the machine. It is better to use pure water or distilled water. Some abnormal sound in the working process of the water pump is caused by impurities in the water, which is a normal phenomenon and does not affect the use of the machine.
- After the machine stops working, there will be a delay of up to 3 minutes when the machine starts working again.
- When the machine just starts to make the first 3 rounds of ice cubes, smoothies will appear in the spray pipe, the spraying of the pipe slows down or even stops. It will return to normal after about 10 seconds, it’s a normal phenomenon caused by super cold water. Subsequent normal ice making will not appear and doesn’t affect the machine.
