Safety Precautions

  • Close supervision is necessary when using the appliance near children.

Before Using for the First Time

  1. Remove all packaging and take out the blade covers.
  2. Clean the motor unit with a dry cloth, never immerse it in water or place it under running water.
  3. Wash the blending accessories in warm water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  4. Switch off and unplug the appliance before changing accessories or approaching parts.
  5. Make sure that the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage indicated on the label of the appliance.
  6. Before connecting the appliance to the mains, assemble the appliance with the desired attachment.
  7. Do not switch the appliance on if the whole unit is not properly fitted and connected together.

Product Usage – Hand Blender (Blending in the Beakers)

You can blend baby food, soups, sauces, milkshakes, andmayonnaise using the hand blender.

  1. Move the appliance slowly up and down and in cycles to blend the ingredients.
  2. Do not fill the beaker above 700ml (24fl oz).

IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECOUSIONS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed including the following: Read all instructions before use!

  1. Close supervision is necessary when using the appliance near children.
  2. Do not operate any appliance with damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Contact your customer service.
  3. Care shall be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the bowl during cleaning.
  4. Always disconnect the blender from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling, or cleaning.
  5. Switch off the appliance and disconnect from the socket outlet before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
  6. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by authorized service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  7. This appliance can be used by persons (including children) from 8 years old and above with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved, from person responsible for their safety. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance shall not be made by children.
  8. Keep the appliance and its power cord out of reach of children.
  9. This appliance is for household use only, not professional, industrial use.
  10. Never touch the blades while the appliance is plugged in.
  11. Keep fingers, hair, clothing, and utensils away from moving parts.
  12. Unplug after use and before changing attachments.
  13. Never blend hot oil or fat.
  14. Do not let children or infirm people use the hand blender without supervision.
  15. Never use a damaged hand blender.
  16. Never place the motor body in water or allow the cord or plug to get wet. This may cause damage to the appliance and electric shock.
  17. Never let the cord touch hot surfaces or hang down where a child could grab it.
  18. Never use an unauthorized attachment.
  19. Do not touch the sharp blades.
  20. Do not use the appliance in an environment full of flammable gas and powder. Keep away from any fire and heat sources.
  21. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the appliance by yourself in order to avoid a hazard.
  22. Connect the appliance to a socket that can supply a minimum of 10 amperes.
  23. Do not alter the plug. Do not use plug adaptors.
  24. Do not use the appliance with damp hands or when barefooted.
  25. Do not force the power cord. Never use the power cord to lift up, carry or unplug the appliance.
  26. Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.
  27. The appliance is not suitable for outdoor use.
  28. Use the appliance for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
  29. The appliance must not run for more than 50 seconds at one start. Every 50 seconds of work it is necessary to provide time of at least 60 seconds for cooling the engine.
  30. The blender nozzle and the mixer for light mixtures are not appropriate for washing in a dishwasher! The detergent will wash all the internal parts, which may result in blockage during operation and burnout of the engine.

BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

  1. Remove all packaging and take out the blade covers.
  2. Clean the motor unit with a dry cloth, never immerse it in water or place it under running water.
  3. Wash the blending accessories in warm water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  4. Switch off and unplug the appliance before changing accessories or approaching parts.
  5. Do not submerge the motor unit/chopper gear box or the chopper lid into water as this will damage the gears, wipe these with a damp cloth only.
  6. Make sure that the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage indicated on the label of the appliance.
  7. Before connecting the appliance to the mains, assemble the appliance with the desired attachment.
  8.  Do not switch the appliance on if the whole unit is not properly fitted and connected together.

CAUTION: Never connect the appliance to the mains before placing the attachment on it. This can cause injuries.
CAUTION: Wash with care.
CAUTION: The blades are very sharp. Never touch the blades with your finger.

USING THE APPLIANCE

  • HAND BLENDER
  • Blending in the beakers

You can blend baby food, soups, sauces, milk shakes and mayonnaise.

  1. Move the appliance slowly up and down and in cycles to blend the ingredient.
  2. Do not fill the beaker above 700ml (24fl oz). (да се махне за моделите без купа/мензура)
  3. Blending in a saucepan
  4. If using the blending stick to purée hot food in a saucepan or pot, ensure that the saucepan or pot is removed from the heat source and the food or liquid has cooled down sufficiently to avoid the risk of scalding and overheating of the motor unit.
  • Do not let the hand blender sit in a hot pan on the stove top when not in use.
  • Ensure that the liquid does not come above the join between the blending stick and the motor unit.
  1. Attach the blending stick to the motor body and turn anticlockwise to lock it into position. (See Figure 1)

  2. Ensure the unit is plugged in.

  3. Place the food into beakers or into a suitable container.

  4. Insert the blending stick into the food before switching on the power. This is to avoid splashing.

  5. Select the desired speed on the control dial and press the “I” button. Select a low speed for slower blending and to minimize splashing and a higher speed or turbo button for faster blending.

  6. Move the hand blender using a mashing or stirring action to blend and mix the food. Do not lift the hand blender out of the food before switching off.
    NOTE: Do not use the hand blender to process extremely hard foods, such as unshelled nuts, ice cubes, coffee beans, grains, or hard spices e.g. nutmeg. Processing these foods could damage the blades.

  7. After use, release the I button or turbo button.

  8. Unplug form the socket outlet.

  9. Turn the blending stick clockwise to unlock

USING THE WHISKS
Use the whisks to whip up cream, eggs and ready mix desserts.

  • Do not use the whisk for harder ingredients such as butter and sugar as this will damage the whisks. For best results, use the whisks in a deep container and use them at an angle when whisking.
  1. Attach the whisks into the whisk collar and then attach this to the motor head, turn anti-clockwise to lock it into position. (See Figure 2)
  2. Place the food into a suitable container.
  3. Turn the speed dial to a low speed to start with. Тhis will prevent splatter.
  4. Insert the whisks into the food and press the I button. For best results increase the speed or use the turbo button.
  5. When the desired results have been achieved, release the I or turbo button and turn the whisks collar clockwise.
  6. Remove the stainless-steel whisks by pulling it out of the collar for cleaning.

USING THE MINI-CHOPPER

The mini chopping bowl can be used to chop meat, fish, hard cheese, onions, garlic,
vegetables, herbs, bread, biscuits, and nuts. It is not suitable for chopping hard foods such as coffee beans, ice cubes, spices, or chocolate as these may damage the blade.

  1. Remove any bones from meat or fish and cut food into bit sized pieces.
  2. Fit the chopper blade over the pin in the bowl.
  3. Add your food, do not overfill the bowl, take note of the maximum chopping amounts, and do not fill above the max line.
  4. Fit the chopping bowl cover, turn, and lock into position.
  5. Insert the motor unit into the chopper cover and twist to lock into position. (See Figure 3)
  6. Hold the bowl steady and then select your desired speed and press the I button or for more of a rough chop press the turbo button in short bursts to achieve a pulse action.
  7. When the desired results have been achieved twist the motor to unlock and lift the motor off the chopping bowl. Twist the cover to unlock from the bowl and lift off. Carefully take out the blade before pouring out the contents of the bowl. To remove the blade, slightly turn it then pull it off.
  8. Never remove the cover until the blade has completely stopped.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  1. Before cleaning unplug the appliance from the power supply.
  2. Clean the motor unit with a dry cloth, never immerse it in water or place it under running water.
  3. Wash the blending accessories in warm water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  4. Do not submerge the motor unit/chopper gear box or the chopper lid into water as this will damage the gears, wipe these with a damp cloth only.
  5. Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products, for cleaning the appliance.
  6. Do not store the appliance in rooms/cabinets with high humidity. This may damage the appliance.
  7. To prevent the accumulation of dust, after cleaning, allow the appliance to dry completely and put it back in its original packaging.
