Safety Warnings
-
The device must be installed, serviced and maintained by a trained professional with necessary safety knowledge and skills. Before installation, be sure to carefully read and implement the safety instructions specified in this manual.

Make sure the power supply meets the requirements indicated on the device, and the supply voltage is stable. Non-compliant power supplies may cause device failure.

The power supply of the display system shall be in phase with that of the image controller and PC, but not in phase with high-power devices (such as high-powerair conditioner).
-
All the grounding devices must be securely grounded, and the grounding wire of all the devices must be connected to an equipotential socket. The ground bus shall use multi-core copper wires. The ground bus must not be short circuited with the neutral wire of the power grid and must not be connected to the same socket with other devices. All the grounding points must be connected to the same grounding bar, and the voltage difference between devices must be zero.

The operating temperature for the device is 0°C to 50°C. Operation out of this range may cause device failure. The operating humidity is 10% to 90%. Use a dehumidifier if necessary.

Take effective measures to protect the power cord from being tramped or pressed.

Keep the device away from fire and water.

Do not open the cabinet as there are high voltage components inside.

Handle with care during transportation and installation. Do not knock, squeeze or carve the screen with hard objects. User shall assume total responsibility for damages caused by improper user operations.

Use the device in a clean environment.

Installing or moving the device shall be done by more than two people. Avoid placing the device on uneven surfaces to prevent personal injury and device damage from tip-over.

Unplug the power cord before leaving this device unused for long periods. Do not turn on and off frequently. Wait at least 3 minutes before turning on/off again.

Do not insert objects of any kind into the device via the vent or input/output ports.
It may cause short circuit, device failure, or electric shock. Be especially careful when children are present. -
When the device is moved from a cold environment to a warm environment, condensation may occur inside the device. Please wait for a while for the

Interface | Description |

HDMI IN | HDMI video input interface, connects to a video signal output device |
such as PC or NVR for video signal input.
USB| USB Type-A interface, connects to a USB device such as USB flash drive
(used to receive upgrade packages and files), keyboard and mouse (used to
control the device).
NOTE: The bottom USB interface is available for both Android and Windows,
and the side USB interface is available for Android only.
USB TYPE-C| USB Type-C interface
- Connects to a video signal output device for video signal input.
- Supports USB 2.0 for data transmission.
NOTE: You can connect a DP adapter to receive DP video signals.
LINE IN| 3.5mm audio input interface, connects to an audio signal output
device such as microphone for audio input, supports stereo.
LINE OUT| 3.5mm audio output interface, connects to an audio signal input
device such as speaker for audio output, supports stereo.
RS232| RS232 serial port, connects to an RS232 device such as PC for control
signal input.
HDMI OUT| HDMI video output interface, connects to a display device for video
signal output.
USB TYPE-B| USB TYPE-B interface, connects to a PC to mirror the PC screen to
the display and control the PC on the display.
CAUTION: Connect to the same PC with HDMI IN.
Interface| Description

LAN IN| Gigabit Ethernet port, connects to a LAN device such as router for
Ethernet access. NOTE: This interface supports network penetration.
Android and Windows can share the same network.
LAN OUT| LAN output interface, connects to a PC to provide Ethernet access.
CAUTION: This interface is available only when the LAN IN interface is
connected to Ethernet.
Wireless Module
The wireless module is divided into two parts: Wi-Fi module and Bluetooth
module.
If you need to connect to wireless networks or Bluetooth devices, please
install a wireless module first.
- Wi-Fi module: Wi-Fi 6 + Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 6 for uplink routing, supports 2.4G/5G.
- Bluetooth module: Integrated with Wi-Fi 6 module, built-in antenna, supports Bluetooth 5.2 protocol.

** Insert the wireless module into the wireless module slot at the bottom of the device. The wireless module is hot-pluggable.
Cable Connection
If the signal transmission distance exceeds 5m, you need to use high-quality HDMI and other cables to ensure the image quality. Poor quality cables may cause image noises or unstable images.
NOTE!
Image noises are also possible if the cable connector is loose or the gold
plating is wore out after a long period of use.
Startup
For first use, connect the device to power and turn the power switch on to start up it.

After startup, complete the initial configuration of the device according to the startup wizard.
NOTE!
- You can set the boot mode under Settings > System > Power > Power On Mode.
- Standby Power Consumption ≤ 0.5W.

- Check if the speaker is normal. Insert an USB flash drive with songs into the board, and play a song to test if there is sound output.l If there is sound, the speaker is normal, and you need to reinstall the system.
- If there is no sound, the speaker or the board may have problems.
The Wi-Fi signal is weak.|
- Check if the wireless router works properly.
- Make sure there is no obstacle around the Wi-Fi antenna.
The display cannot connect to a wired network.| Check if the wired network and the network cable is normal.
- For Win7, go to Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings, right-click a local area connection, click Properties, select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), double-click the protocol, enable Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically.
- For Win10, go to Settings > Network & Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings, right-click a local area connection, click Properties, select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), double-click the protocol, enable Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically.

caused by the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the
glass. The water mist generally disappears after the display is powered on and
does not affect the normal operation of the device.
There are lines or ripples in images.|
- Check if there is interference near the device. Keep the device away from interference or insert the power plug into another socket.
- Check if the video cables are of high quality.
You cannot operate the display, for example, it gets stuck or crashes.|
Disconnect the power supply, wait one minute and then restart the device.
The display shows delayed or no touch response.| Check if too many programs
are running. Stop the programs that cause high memory usage or restart the
device.
The OPS computer cannot be turned on normally; there is no image and touch
response.| Unplug the OPS computer and plug in again.

Network Security
Please take all necessary measures to enhance network security for your
device.
The following are necessary measures for the network security of your
device:

Change default password and set strong password: You are strongly recommended to change the default password after your first login and set a strong password of at least nine characters including all three elements: digits, letters and special characters.

Keep firmware up to date: It is recommended that your device is always upgraded to the latest version for the latest functions and better security. Visit Uniview’s official website or contact your local dealer for the latest firmware.
The following are recommendations for enhancing network security of your device: -
Change password regularly: Change your device password on a regular basis and keep the password safe. Make sure only the authorized user can log in to the device.

Enable HTTPS/SSL: Use SSL certificate to encrypt HTTP communications and ensure data security.

Enable IP address filtering: Allow access only from the specified IP addresses.
-
Minimum port mapping: Configure your router or firewall to open a minimum set of ports to the WAN and keep only the necessary port mappings. Never set the device as the DMZ host or configure a full cone NAT.

Disable the automatic login and save password features: If multiple users have access to your computer, it is recommended that you disable these features to prevent unauthorized access.

Choose username and password discretely: Avoid using the username and password of your social media, bank, email account, etc, as the username and password of your device, in case your social media, bank and email account information is leaked.

Restrict user permissions: If more than one user needs access to your system, make sure each user is granted only the necessary permissions.

Disable UPnP: When UPnP is enabled, the router will automatically map internal ports, and the system will automatically forward port data, which results in the risks of data leakage.
Therefore, it is recommended to disable UPnP if HTTP and TCP port mapping have been enabled manually on your router. -
SNMP: Disable SNMP if you do not use it. If you do use it, then SNMPv3 is recommended.

Multicast: Multicast is intended to transmit video to multiple devices. If you do not use this function, it is recommended you disable multicast on your network.

Check logs: Check your device logs regularly to detect unauthorized access or abnormal operations.

Physical protection: Keep the device in a locked room or cabinet to prevent unauthorized physical access.

Isolate video surveillance network: Isolating your video surveillance network with other service networks helps prevent unauthorized access to devices in your security system from other service networks.

Storage, Transportation, and Use

Store or use the device in a proper environment that meets environmental requirements, including and not limited to, temperature, humidity, dust, corrosive gases, electromagnetic radiation, etc.

Make sure the device is securely installed or placed on a flat surface to prevent falling.

Unless otherwise specified, do not stack devices.

Ensure good ventilation in the operating environment. Do not cover the vents on the device.
