CAUTION:
The safety precautions are part of the appliance. Read them carefully before using your new appliance for the first time. Keep them in a place where you can find and refer to them later on. The appliance will only start if the assembled jar (A+B+C) or the XL chopper (H) is correctly positioned on the motor unit (D) and the lid (A/H.1) locked on the jar (B/H.5).
BEFORE USING YOUR APPLIANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME
Before using your appliance for the first time, rinse the parts that come into
contact with food (assembled jar (A+B+C) and assembled XL CHOPPER (H))
CAUTION: Do not immerse the appliance in water (neither the motor unit (D) the
blades units (C) nor the reducer (H.6)). Never put the motor unit under
running water. Clean it with a damp cloth and dry it carefully. The blades are
extremely sharp.
Make sure all the packaging has been removed before operating the appliance.
ASSEMBLING AND FITTING THE JAR
Moisten the seal (C1) (even if already fitted on the blades unit (C2)). Be
careful to correctly fit the seal (C1) back onto the blade unit (C2) the
correct way up (Fig. 1).
Place the blades unit (C2) on the locking ring (C3) (Fig. 2). Turn the jar
upside down and fit the assembled locking ring (C) with blades on the base of
the jar (Fig. 3). Lock it by rotating to lock ring (C3) in the clockwise
direction (Fig. 3). Make sure the locking ring is locked correctly: the arrow
on the jar must be aligned with the arrow on the locking ring (Fig. 3).
To help you, you can use the back of the brush (G) to lock or unlock the
locking ring (C3)
Add the ingredients into the assembled jar without exceeding the maximum level
indicated (Fig. 4):
• 1.75 L for thick mixtures • 1.5 L for liquid preparation
WARNING: Do not pour boiling liquids (over 80°C/176°F) into the jar
Lock the lid (A) on the jar (B) and turn it in the clockwise direction (Fig.
5).
Make sure the lid is locked correctly: the point on the lid should be aligned
with the handle (Fig. 6). Put the assembled cap (A3+A4) in position on the lid
and lock by rotating it in the clockwise direction. If the lid is not
correctly locked, your appliance will not start. Put the jar correctly on the
motor unit (Fig. 7): the point on the base of the jar should be aligned with
the padlock on motor unit (Fig. 7). A jar logo (E.1) will appear on the screen
(Fig. 7) and a bip signal will sound.
ASSEMBLING AND FITTING THE XL CHOPPER*
Place the reducer (H.6) on the locking ring (H.7) (Fig. 8). Lock it by
rotating to the XL chopper jar (H.5) in the anticlockwise direction (Fig. 9).
The closed padlock indicates when the blade holder is locked.
Assemble the blades by inserting the blade units onto the driver (Fig. 11)
Be careful, verify there is nothing blocked under the knife (H.2/H.3) (Fig.10)
before put it inside the bowl (H.5) (Fig. 11)
Add the ingredients into the assembled chopper without exceeding the maximum
level indicated (Fig. 12):
• 550ml max
WARNING: Do not pour liquids into the XL chopper
Push the lid (H.1) on the XL chopper jar (H5) and turn it in the clockwise
direction (Fig. 13).
Make sure the lid is locked correctly (Fig. 14). If the lid is not correctly
locked, the blades will not turn. Put the assembled XL chopper jar (H)
correctly on the motor unit (D): A jar logo (E.2) will appear on the screen
and a bip signal will sound.
USING YOUR APPLIANCE
Speed / Programs | Instructions |

Speed 1 to 6 | When the jar is on the base and when lid is correctly locked a |
bip signal will sound.
Slide your finger to the right to start blending from speed 1 to 6 a bip will
sound at each step.
Timer starts from 0:00 et goes up.
To pause, touch “Start/stop” a bip will sound and the speed lights will blink.
To resume, maintain “Start/stop” 1 bip will sound and light will turn on
To stop, slide finger back to the left on position 0 or touch “Start/stop” for
3 seconds, a long bip will sound. The light goes back to 0 position.
Programs| Slide finger to the left a bip will sound for each position, a light
will turn on for each position, a timer display for each program
On each program position, Start/stop light blinks.
To start a program, maintain start/stop and 1 bip will sound.
To pause, maintain start/stop a bip will sound, the program and start/stop
lights will blink.
To continue, maintain start/stop a 1 bip signal will sound, program and
start/stop lights will turn on.
To stop, touch the start and stop button for 3 seconds long bip signal will
sound and light will go back on 0 position.
Timer starts from the program time (ex : 1:30) and counts down
To indicate the end of the program 3 bips will sound (program and start/stop
light blink) and light will go back to 0 position
Pulse function| Slide finger to the left on the “pulse” position a bip signal
will sound and Start/ stop light will blink.
Touch then hold Start/Stop to activate pulse immediately (there is no lag time
between touch and the start of blending)
Release finger from Start/Stop button to stop (start/stop light will blink)
CAUTION: After running one cycle in the blender for the maximum processing
time, let the blender rest for 1 minute before operating again.
After using the blender for a maximum of three cycles, stop the appliance and
leave to cool to ambient temperature (takes about 2 hours).
The appliance is equipped with overload protection.
This prevents the motor from being damaged by an abnormal use.
If the appliance switches off during operation, proceed as follows:
Unplug and leave to cool down approximately 15-20 minutes.
Reconnect the appliance to the power supply and resume blending.
After approximately 3 minutes use, your appliance will start a stand by mode.
To switch on / off your appliance, press the Start / Stop button.
ROUGH CHOPPING SMALL QUANTITIES
Accessory used: assembled mini chopper
Chop in a few seconds by pulsing (E.3): peanuts, almonds, etc… quantity / max

of custar sugar + 7.5g vanilla sugar + 3 eggs + 125g sunflower oil + 85g Corn
flour + 65g almond powder + 140g flour + 11g baking powder. Put the mix in a

Clean

The pulse button can still be used when no program is running.
CAUTION: Hard food may mark the inside of the jar but this does not
affect the efficiency of the appliance. Frozen food must be smaller than a
walnut. Be careful, verify there is nothing blocked under the knife (H.2/H.3)
(Fig.10) before put it inside the bowl (H.5) (Fig. 11)
AFTER USING YOUR APPLIANCE
Unplug the appliance.
Empty the preparation, the jar is not meant for storing food in the
refrigerator or freezer.
To clean the motor unit (D) and the reducer (H.6), use a damp cloth. Dry it
carefully.
Never immerse the motor unit (D) and the reducer (H.6) in water
Wash the removable parts in water with few drops of washing-up liquid,
immediately after use. For easy cleaning in tritan jar (B) you can use the «
Clean program » :
Put 200ml of water. You can add 1 drop of washing-up liquid only in the jar
(B). The appliance works at various alternating speed for approximately 30
seconds.
The lid (A1), XL CHOPPER parts (H.1 / H.2 / H.3 / H.5) and middle cap (A3 +
A4) can be cleaned in the dishwasher, the Jar (B), the reducer (H.6) and the
Powelix blades unit (C2) must not be cleaned in the dishwasher. Don’t immerse
the blades (C2) completely and for a long time.
To help to clean the cap (A3 + A4), you can disassemble it in 2 parts (Fig19).
WHAT TO DO IF YOUR APPLIANCE DOES NOT WORK?
Problems | Causes | Solutions |

Appliance does not work
| The plug is not connected.| Connect the appliance to a socket with the same
voltage as indicated on the rating plate of the appliance.
The blender jug or XL chopper are not positioned correctly on the motor unit|
Check that the blender jug or XL chopper are positioned properly on the motor
unit as explained in the instructions.
In case of software bug.| Unplug the appliance, wait a few minutes and try
again
The appliance stopped while in use| Overload| Follow the instructions in
section Overload.
Excessive vibrations
| The product is not placed on a flat surface.| Place the appliance on a flat
surface.
Volume of ingredients is too high.| Reduce the quantity of ingredient process.
Leak from the lid
| Volume of ingredients is too high.| Reduce the quantity of ingredient
process.
The lid is not correctly positioned.| Place the lid correctly on the blender
jug.
Leak from the bottom of the blender jug| The blades are not correctly
positioned.| Fit the locking ring (C3) (Fig. 2) and lock it by rotating to
lock notch in the clockwise direction (Fig. 3). Make sure the locking ring is
locked correctly : the point on the jar must be aligned with the lock (Fig. 3)
The blades do not turn easily| Pieces of food too large or too hard.| Reduce
the size or quantity of ingredient processed.
The lid is not correctly positioned.| Place the lid correctly on the blender
jug / chopper jar.
