TV Lift Wifi Setup Guide

TV Lift Wifi Setup Guide
This Wifi Setup Guide is only for Wifi-Enabled Touchstone Home Products TV Lift. TV Lifts that are Wifi-Enabled will have the following style wired controller.

Touchstone Home Products Wifi-Enabled TV Lifts are powered by TuyaSmart. This document is a step-by-step guide for connecting your TV Lift to your home network and operating the TV Lift through the TuyaSmart app.
Setting Up Tuya Smart App and Account

1. On your mobile device, download the Tuya Smart App from the appropriate app store or click the QR Code provided to download the app. https://smartapp.tuya.com/tuyasmart
2. Once the TuyaSmart App is installed, click on the app icon to open the app and create a new account.
3. Once a new user name has been created, you will be sent a Verification Code. Enter the Verification Code.
4. Setup account password.

Adding TV Lift To Tuya Smart App – Bluetooth

1. Make sure that BLUETOOTH is enabled on your smart device.

2. Open the Tuya Smart app. Once in the Tuya Smart app, the TV Lift “Touchstone” device will pop-up under “Devices to be added”. Click the ADD button to add the device.

3. On the Add Device screen, the Touchstone TV Lift will appear. Click the + button to start pairing the lift to the Tuya Smart app.

4. Select your router SSID and enter your router password and click NEXT once complete.
   IMPORTANT: The 2.4GHz band on your wifi router must be enabled in order to connect the TV Lift to your network.
   IMPORTANT: You may need to disable the 5GHz band on your wifi router to connect the TV Lift to your network if it does not successfully connect the first time. Please see your router’s user manual for instructions on disabling the 5GHz wifi band. The 5Ghz band can be re-enabled after pairing of the TV Lift is complete.

5. Once you have entered your router SSID and password, the TV Lift will be added to your router and the Tuya Smart app.

6. The TV Lift has now been added to the app. Click DONE when complete. The TV Lift is able to be controlled via the Tuya Smart app.

NOTE: TV Lift can only be paired to one Tuya Smart account at a time. To pair to another Tuya Smart account, unpair the TV Lift from the first Tuya account.

Using the Tuya Smart App and Controlling Your TV Lift

1. To control the TV Lift via a mobile device, launch the TuyaSmart App and click on your Touchstone TV Lift.
2. After selecting the Touchstone TV Lift, you can now control the TV Lift through the Tuya Smart app.

TV Lift Controls

| UP:  Moves the lift to the highest memory set point (1/S1).  If no memory point is set for 1/S1, the lift will move to its highest point (55.1 or 70.8).

| STOP: Stops the lift motion.
| DOWN:  Moves the lift to the lowest set point (2/S2).  If no memory is set for 2/S2, the lift will move to its lowest position (28.1 or 33.1).
| S1: Highest memory setting.  Lift will move to the memory setting that corresponds to 1 on the wired controller.
| S2: Lowest memory setting. Lift will move to the memory setting that corresponds to 2 on the wired controller.
| Lift Unlocked:  Lift is unlocked and can be controlled with the wifi app, wired, or wireless remote.  Lift can only be UNLOCKED by the wifi app.
| Lift Locked: Lift is locked.  If selected, lift will be LOCKED and cannot be controlled with the wifi app, wired, or wireless remote.  LOC will flash
on the wired controller when in LOCKED mode.
| Height %: Percentage that the lift is extended.

Alexa and Google Assistant Compatibility

The Wifi-Enabled Touchstone TV Lift is compatible with Works With Alexa and Works With Google Assistant.

Alexa Pairing and Controls

To pair the Touchstone TV Lift with Alexa, do the following:

1. Open the Amazon Alexa app on your smart device.
2. In the Amazon Alexa app, click the MORE option.
3. Select Skills and Games
4. Click the magnifying glass to open a search window.
5. Search for the Tuya Smart skill and select the Tuya Smart App.
6. Click the ENABLE TO USE button.
7. Click AGREE and LINK to link your Tuya Smart account to Amazon Alexa
8. Alexa will look to connect to your Tuya Smart devices.
9. On the device found page, click Set Up Device.
10. The device is now ready for use.
    Click the DONE button to continue.

Alexa Controls

**Google Assistant Pairing and Controls

To pair the Touchstone TV Lift with Google Assistant, do the following:

1. Open the Google Home app on your smart device.
2. In the Google Home app, click the + button.
3. Under Add and Manage, click “Set up device”
4. On the “Set up a device” screen, select “Works with Google”
5. Click the magnifying glass icon next to Home control.
6. Search for Tuya Smart and click the Tuya Smart app icon.
7. Click Continue to link Tuya Smart to Google Home
8. On the “Link your Tuya Smart account with Google” page, click the Agree and Link button
9. The Touchstone TV Lift will now show up on your devices page.

Google Assistant Controls

Operating the Lift
The SRV PRO TV Lift can be controlled through the provided wired handset controller or the wireless remote control.
Wired Handset Control

button will stop the lift.
**Note: If a memory height is set, holding the UP button will ignore the memory height and the lift will continue to run past the set memory height
| DOWN: PRESS and HOLD this button to lower the lift. Releasing this button will stop the lift.
| MEMORY: The lift can be set to 2 memory positions, an extended memory and retracted memory position. To set the memory position, raise the lift to the desired position. Follow the instructions under I and 2 below to set the Extended and Retracted Memory position.
When the memory position is set, the UP button on the RF Wireless Remote and IR Wireless Remote will go to the memory height that was set.
| EXTENDED MEMORY POSITION: To set a memory position for the extended height of the lift, do the following:
1. Using the UP button on the wired controller, move the lift to the desired height
2. PRESS and RELEASE the M button once
3. PRESS and RELEASE the 1 button. The extended memory height will now be set.
| RETRACTED MEMORY POSITION: To set a memory position for the lower height of the lift, do the following:
1. Using the UP button on the wired controller, move the lift to the desired height
2. PRESS and RELEASE the M button once
3. PRESS and RELEASE the 2 button. The retracted memory height will now be set.

NOTE: For applications where fixtures are mounted above the lift and in the path of the lift travel, please use the WIRED HANDSET ONLY to avoid damages to the lift and other items!
