Safety instructions

  • Protect the product from dirt, moisture and overheating and use it in dry rooms only.
  • Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.
  • Do not operate the product outside the power limits given in the specifications.

Operation

Warning – travel plug

  • Before connecting a device, check whether it is suitable for the voltage/mains frequency available in the country.
  • Ensure when plugging in and out that you do not come into contact with the plug contacts.
  • Do not operate the product continuously, as it is not designed for this.
  • Do not continue to operate the product if it is visibly damaged.
  • Do not use the product with multiple sockets or intermediate plugs.
  • Do not use the travel adapter to charge electric vehicles.

The product is not designed for operation with other adapters.

Note

  • The values for the maximum rated current and the maximum power can be taken from Table 2.
  • This product is designed for use in the respective countries with the corresponding plug and coupling types as shown in tables 1 and on the packaging.
  • The assignment is made via the article number, which can be found on the product or the packaging.

Warning

  • Only operate the product from a socket that has been approved for the device. The socket must be installed close to the product and must be easily accessible.
  • Disconnect the product from the power supply  using the On/Off switch – if this is not available, unplug the power cord from the socket.

Care and maintenance

Note
Disconnect the device from the mains before cleaning and during prolonged periods of non-use.

  • Only clean this product using a lint-free, slightly damp cloth and do not use any harsh cleaners.
  • Ensure that no water is able to enter the product.
