Product Information

The EVC200 ZWave Controller is a device used to control the Bulldog Valve Controller in a ZWave hub/controller setup. It allows users to pair and unpair the Bulldog Valve Controller with their ZWave hub/controller.

Product Usage Instructions

Unpairing

  1. Access the software of your specific ZWave hub/controller.
  2. Follow the steps provided for excluding the Bulldog Valve Controller from the ZWave hub/controller.
  3. Press the button on the EVC200 ZWave Controller 3-5 times quickly. This will initiate the unpairing process.
  4. If excluding the device from the software is not possible, you can perform a system reset on your ZWave Bulldog Controller by following these steps:
  5. Hold down the button on the Bulldog Controller for over 10 seconds.
  6. Once done, you will see the LED on the controller quickly blip, indicating that the system reset has been completed.

Product Pairing

  1. Access the settings or control panel of your ZWave Controller.
  2. Set your ZWave Controller to scan for ZWave devices or look for an option to specify the EcoNet Valve Robot.
  3. Press the button on the EVC200 ZWave Controller repeatedly as fast as you can, around 3-5 times. This will initiate the pairing process.
  4. Depending on the ZWave Controller, the pairing process may take up to a minute.

By following these instructions, you will be able to unpair and pair your ZWave (EVC200) Bulldog Controller with your ZWave hub/controller.

How do I unpair, then pair my ZWave (EVC200) Bulldog Controller?

Difficulty: Easy

  • Example: The device LED is solid green light indicating it has been paired with a controller, is there a way to factory reset the device then pair to a new controller?

Unpairing

  • You should exclude the Bulldog Valve Controller in the ZWave hub/controller’s software by following the steps for your specific ZWave hub/controller for exluding the device and then pressing the EVC200 button 3-5 times quickly.
  • If this isn’t possible you can perform a system reset on your ZWave bulldog controller by holding down the controller button for over 10 seconds. You will see the LED quickly blip when done.

Pairing

  • Set your ZWave Controller to scan for ZWave devices or Specify the EcoNet Valve Robot if this option is present.
  • Set your controller to pair to your new hub by pressing the button on the controller repeatedly as fast as you can 3-5 times. This can take a minute depending on the ZWave Controller.
