Product Information

The product is the TSP100IIIW printer manufactured by STAR MICRONICS SOUTHEAST ASIA CO., LTD. It is a wireless printer that can be connected to a router using the STAR Quick Setup Utility.
Please note that the TSP143IIIW model does not support 5GHz networks.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Connect the printer to your device via WiFi by accessing the WiFi Setting and selecting the printer’s WiFi name as shown in the Self-Test.
2. Install the STAR Quick Setup Utility on your smartphone or tablet.
3. Open the STAR Quick Setup Utility and click on “Select Device” to choose the printer you are connecting to.
4. Click on “Yes” when prompted to confirm the printer selection.
5. Click on “Printer Setting”.
6. Click on “Network Setting” to automatically access the browser.
7. In the browser, click on the button located at the top left corner and login using the following credentials: Username – root, Password – public.
8. Click on the same button as in step 6 and then select “WLAN Setting”.
9. In the WLAN Setting, choose “Infrastructure Mode”. Enter your WiFi Name (SSID) and select the appropriate security option based on your router’s properties. Enter your WiFi password in the Security Key field (if applicable). Click on “Submit”.
10. Double-check your WiFi information and click on “Save” if everything is correct.
11. Select “Save”, then choose “Configuration Printing” and finally click on “Restart Device” and “Execute”.
12. Once the printer restarts, it will automatically print out the Network Configuration and obtain an IP address from the WiFi Router’s DHCP.

How to set TSP100IIIW connect to Router by STAR Quick Setup Utility

Please install STAR Quick Setup Utility on your smartphone/tablet
Please noted, TSP143IIIW model is not supported 5GHz

1. Connect printer to your device via WiFi Setting (check WiFi name from Self-Test)
2. Go to STAR Quick Setup Utility and click ‘Select Device’ for select the printer which you connecting.
3. Click the only one printer that you found on the application then click ‘Yes’
4. Click ‘Printer Setting’
5. Click ‘Network Setting’ then will be automatic to access the browser
6. Click button on the left top > Login by Username: root / Password: public
7. Click button same as No.6 again then click ‘WLAN Setting’
8. Select ‘Infrastructure Mode’
   • Enter your WiFi Name in SSID
   • Select your security (Check from your router properties)
   • Enter your WiFi password in Security Key (If no password, No enter)
   • Click ‘Submit’
9. Check your WiFi information again, if okay click ‘Save’
10. Select ‘Save > Configuration Printing > Restart Device then click ‘Execute’
11. After printer restarted, will be automatic printed out Network Configuration and get DHCP IP Address from WiFi Router.
