  • Always and only place the ingredients on the grills or into the basket to prevent food from getting in contact with the electrical heating elements.

  • Do not fill the drip pan with oil. Danger of fire.

  • During use, air and hot steam are released from the air intake. Keep your hands and face at a safe distance from the air intake.

  • When opening the appliance door, hot air and steam also come out. Keep your hands and face away from the door.

  • If you see dark smoke coming out of the air intake, immediately turn off the appliance. Unplug the appliance from the mains socket. Wait until no more smoke comes out of the air intake. Remove food from the body of the appliance.

  • Before plugging the appliance into the mains socket, ensure the voltage shown on the rating plate matches the local voltage supply.

  • If the appliance is used in a Country other than the one where it was purchased, have the electrical compatibility checked at an Authorized Service Centre.

  • If you decide to use an extension cord, it must be suitable for the appliance power, to prevent the operator from any hazard and to preserve the safety of the working environment.

  • Always connect the appliance to an earthed socket.

Identification data

The label under the appliance base reports the lona…grip identification data of the appliance:

Before use

  • Danger of material damage. Do not cover the Internal parts of the appliance with aluminum foil to avoid seriously damaging the thermostat operation.

  • Remove the packaging materials from the appliance.

  • Place the appliance on a flat surface and away from water. The appliance shall be used and rested on a stable and heat-resisting surface.

  • Totally unwind the power cord.
    Important

  • Check that the domestic mains voltage is the same as the voltage indicated on the label of the appliance.

  • Danger of material damage. Place the appliance at a distance of at least 10 cm from walls, furniture or other appliances.

  • Do not place any objects on the door when it is open.

  • Before using the appliance for the first time, wash the grills 9, the drip pan 0, the basket 9 and the spit 0. The grills, the drip pan, the basket and the spit are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, use a common dish detergent and a soft non-abrasive sponge. See the “Appliance cleaning” paragraph.

  • At first use, it is advisable to keep the appliance on for a few minutes to eliminate the smell of “new”.
    1 Turn the temperature control knob 0 to the maximum.
    2 To turn on the appliance, turn the timer knob 9. Let the appliance run in a ventilated environment for at least 15 minutes.
    3 To turn off the appliance, turn the timer knob 9 to 0. Important

  • When using the appliance for the first time, you may notice a slight odour and a little smoke: there is no need to worry.
    The phenomenon is perfectly normal, as some parts have been lightly lubricated, and will disappear after a short time. This will have no effect on the appliance operation.

Instructions for use

  • Danger of material damage. Do not Include foods that may leak during cooking. In fact, not only do they make cleaning the appliance difficult, but they can also cause fires. Clean the cooking compartment from any food residues or crumbs before each use.

Important

  • When cooking foods with oil, use two aluminum sheets to avoid spoashing hot Oil on the heating elements of the cooking ccmpartment. Put a sheet on the drip pan or on the grill and use the other one to cover food

  • When cooking foods using the grill or the basket, evenly distribute oil on food to make it more crunchy and golden. Next. place foods to be caked on the grill or into the basket.

  • When cooking food using the grit the spit or the basket. also piece the drip pan at the lowest level of the cooking compartment to collect fats. To avoid fumes. odours and fouling. it is advisable to pour a little water into the drip pan.

  • It is possible to preheat the food for 3-5 minutes berets setting the cooking tine. or you can directly add the heating tine to the cooking time.
    2 Pace the or the drop pan CO with the previously prepared food inside the cooking compartment.

  • Plato the grill or the drip pan so that the food is at least 2 an away from the heating elements placed in the upper part of the cocking compartment.

  • When the appliance starts operating, ventilation also starts automatically. The venbrited hot err ensures a unlorm distribution of the temperature and allows an even cooking on multiple levels without mixing the odours.

  • The appliance can be paused during canton. for example to stir the ngredients during the cooking process.

  • You can use the appliance to reheat already cooked food. Set temperature to 150 ‘C and time to 10 mnutes.

  1. Remove the grill 0. Place the drip pal 0 on the lowest level of the Coding cOmpartment

  2. Side one of the fOrkS onto the spa 0 (the two tips inwards) and screw to IOC* it . Tie the roast with a Nana (meat. Chicken. etc.) and skewer it being careful to center the meat properly. Let the other carving fork gide on the spa always with the tips inwards. If necessary unscrew the first carving fork to Center the roast and block the two Carving forks.

  3. Wet the end of the apt into the hOuthig Mated in ire with the left motorized support ®. Rest the Oppthite end on the right supped 0.
    • Proceed with Woking food as described an the ‘Instructions for use’ paragraph.

  4. Press the spit or basket rotation button (C). The internal fight MI automatic.* turn on. To stop rotation any time. press the Spit Or hack rotation button 15
    • At the end of Cooking. use the fork ®t0 kft the spit item the right support and then remove the other end from the left motorized support 0.

Cooking with the basket

  1. To open the basket door. et the hook upwards 0.

  2. Place food inside.

  3. Close the basket door.

Cleaning and maintenance

    Cleaning of components

  • The grills, the drip pan. the basket and the Spit are dishwasher safe. Alternativey. use a common dish detergent and a soft men-abrasive sponge.

  • To Soften rood residues in the basket, it is possible to fill a container with hot water. Add a few drops Of detergent. Insert the basket and let the product act for 10 minutes.

  • The appliance door can be removed in order to clean it n the dshivaSher. 1 Open the door. 2 Move the Slider 0 to the left and remove the door from the left supped s. 3 Pull the door to the right to free the door from the right Support.

Troubleshooting
