TIMEX Time Machines 34mm Kids Digital Watch
Product Information:
The product is a Timex Kids (Digital) watch. It has various features including a chrono (stopwatch), alarm, and timer. The watch has a water resistance depth of 30m/98ft, 50m/164ft, or 100m/328ft depending on the model. It also has an adjustable, stretch fabric, washable strap.
Product Usage Instructions:
Basic Operations:
- Press the MODE button to cycle through the CHRONO, ALARM, and TIMER modes.
- Press the INDIGLO button to illuminate the watch face.
- In any mode, press the MODE button to view the time display.
- Press any button to stop alarm or timer beeps.
Time and Date:
- Press and hold the SET button.
- The HOURS digits will flash. Press the START/STOP or DATE button to change the hour digits. Go through 12 hours for AM or PM.
- Press the MODE button to select MINUTES.
- Press the START/STOP or DATE button to change the minutes.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 to set the MONTH, DATE, DAY, 12- or 24-hour time display, and date format.
- Press the SET button when done.
- Press the DATE button to display the date. Press again to display the time.
Chronograph (Stopwatch):
- Press the MODE button until CHRONO appears.
- Press the START/STOP button to start the stopwatch. The display will indicate that the chrono is on.
- Press the DATE button to view lap or split time. The display will pause for 7 seconds.
- Press the START/STOP button to pause the stopwatch.
- Press the START/STOP button to resume timing.
- When timing is stopped, press and hold the DATE button to reset the chrono.
Alarm:

Press the MODE button until ALARM appears.

Press and hold the SET button to select the alarm hour. The
digits will flash. -
Press the START/STOP or DATE button to change the hour digits.
Go through 12 hours for AM or PM.
Timer:
- Press the MODE button until TIMER appears.
- Press and hold the SET button to select the timer hours. The digits will flash.
- Press the START/STOP or DATE button to change the digits.
- Press the MODE button to select MINUTES.
- Press the START/STOP or DATE button to change the minutes.
- Repeat steps 4 and 5 to set the seconds.
- Press the SET button when done.
- Press the START/STOP button to start the timer. The display will indicate that the timer is running.
- Press the START/STOP button to pause the timer. Press again to resume.
- When the timer is stopped, press the DATE button to reset the timer to the beginning.
- Press and hold the SET button to set a new countdown time. The watch will beep when the countdown ends.
Water Resistance:
If your watch is water-resistant, it will have a meter marking or (O)
indicated. The water resistance depth can be 30m/98ft, 50m/164ft, or
100m/328ft depending on the model. To maintain water resistance, do not press
any buttons underwater. The watch is
water-resistant only as long as the lens, push buttons, and case remain
intact. Note that the watch is not suitable for diving and should not be used
for such activities. After exposure to saltwater, rinse the watch with fresh
water.
Elastic Wrap:
Each Timex Kids watch has an adjustable, stretch fabric, washable strap. To adjust the strap:
- Place the end of the elastic strap up through the first buckle opening and then down through the second buckle opening.
- Adjust the strap to the desired length.
Fast Wrap Strap:
Some watches have Fast Wrap straps. Please refer to the specific instructions provided for adjusting the strap of your particular model.

BASIC OPERATIONS

- C. Press DATE to view lap or split time. Display pauses for 7 seconds.
- D. Press START/STOP to pause.
- E. Press START/STOP to resume.
- F. When timing is stopped, press and hold DATE to reset chrono.
ALARM
- A. Press MODE until ALARM appears.
- B. Press and hold SET to select HOURS. Digits will flash.
- C. Press START/STOP or DATE to change hour digits. Go through 12 hours for AM or PM.
- D. Press MODE to select MINUTES.
- E. Press START/STOP or DATE to change. Press SET when done.
- F. Press START/STOP to turn alarm on or off. indicates alarm is on.
When alarm time is reached, watch will beep and INDIGLO® display will flash for 20 seconds, or until a watch button is pushed. Alarm will repeat every 24 hours until deactivated.
TIMER
- A. Press MODE until TIMER appears.
- B. Press and hold SET to select HOURS. Digits will flash.
- C. Press START/STOP or DATE to change digits.
- D. Press MODE to select MINUTES. Press START/STOP or DATE to change.
- E. Repeat to set SECONDS.
- F. Press SET when done.
- G. Press START/STOP to start timer. indicates timer is running.
- H. Press START/STOP to pause, press again to resume.
- I. When timer is stopped, press DATE to reset timer to the beginning.
- J. Press and hold SET to set new countdown time.
Watch will beep when countdown ends.
INDIGLO® NIGHT LIGHT WITH NIGHT-MODE® FEATURE
- A. Press INDIGLO to activate light. Electroluminescent technology used in the INDIGLO® night-light illuminates watch face at night and in low light conditions.
- B. Press and hold INDIGLO for three seconds (beep will sound) to activate or de-activate NIGHT-MODE® feature.
- C. While in NIGHT-MODE® feature, press any button to illuminate watch face for 3 seconds.
WATER RESISTANCE
If your watch is water-resistant, meter marking or ( ) is indicated.

WARNING: TO MAINTAIN WATER-RESISTANCE, DO NOT PRESS ANY
BUTTONS UNDER WATER.
- Watch is water-resistant only as long as lens, push buttons and case remain intact.
- Watch is not a diver watch and should not be used for diving.
- Rinse watch with fresh water after exposure to salt water.
ELASTIC WRAP
Each Timex Kids watch has an adjustable, stretch fabric, washable strap.
To adjust the strap:
- Place end of elastic strap up through first buckle opening and then down through second buckle opening.
- Adjust strap to desired length.
FAST WRAP STRAP
Some watches have FAST WRAP straps. To adjust the strap:
- Slide end of strap through D-ring.
- Pull tight to adjust and fasten for snug and comfortable fit.
BATTERY
Timex strongly recommends the watch battery be replaced by retailer or
jeweler. If applicable, push reset button when replacing battery… Battery type
is indicated on caseback… Battery life estimates are based on certain
assumptions regarding usage; battery life may vary depending on actual usage…
