Please read this manual carefully before operating your set. Retain it for future reference. Record model number and serial number of the set. See the label attached on the set and quote this information to your dealer when you require service. For The Warranty Terms & Conditions, Please Refer To Warranty Certificate.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using this appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:

  1. Read all instructions before using.
  2. Do not dismantle and refit parts or repair the appliance on your own.
  3. Do not contact the plug with wet hands.
  4. Do not let the power cord remains plugged when not in use.
  5. Do not use the appliance when the power cord is damaged or the plug is not properly inserted.
  6. Never bend or bind the power cord or apply by excessive force, otherwise it may cause damage. If power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service center or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards.
  7. Place the appliance on a stable surface.
  8. Never use the appliance where it is likely to subject to damp or close to fire.
  9. Never rinse the appliance directly with water to avoid damaging the appliance.
  10. Never use the appliance at the place where it can be reached by children.
  11. Do not cook without load or overload of food. Otherwise it will cause deformation of the pot and appliance.
  12. Metallic objects such as knife, forks, spoons, lids should not be placed on the cooking plate as it may conduct heat and get hot.
  13. Do not carry the appliance during operation.
  14. Do not drop objects onto the cooking plate, in case it cracks, immediately turn off the power supply and unplug the plug from the power socket and send it for repair.
  15. The content of the food loaded in the pot should not be exceeding 4 kg; otherwise it will cause damage and malfunction of the appliance.
  16. After cooking, high heat temperature that produced from the pot will conduct onto the appliance, NEVER touch the cooking plate immediately after used.
  17. When using high frequency, noise will be heard as it is the result of the metal materials of pot, it is not malfunction. While operating the appliance, the running sound of fan will be heard as the fan will rotate for quite sometimes to reduce the inner heat.
  18. Do not place a sheet of paper between the pot and the cooking plate. The paper may get burnt.
  19. Do not place the appliance near objects which will be affected by magnet; such as: radios, televisions, automatic-banking cards and cassette tapes.
  20. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
  21. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  22. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications.
  23. The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
  24. Save these instructions for future reference.

UNSUITABLE UTENSIL
This appliance has an automatic utensil checking feature with unsuitable utensil. You cannot select on the heating power even when the “ON/OFF” button is pressed. Display screen will show “E0” error.

OPERATING THE APPLIANCE – (MANUAL MODE)

  1. Place the appliance pot at the centre of the cooking plate. Warning: Please do not power on the appliance with an empty pot as this will cause damage and deformation to the pot. Power on the appliance and you will hear a “beeping” sound. The display screen will show “E0”.

  2. Touch the “On/Off” icon and then followed by the function icon to select require cooking power or temperature.

  3. Touch the “Function” icon, the red light indicator for “Power” will light up. The display screen will show 1800. The default operating power level is at 1800W. The power level can be adjusted by “-” or “+” for desired power level. Power settings: 500 – 2000W

  4. Continue to touch the “Function” icon, the red light indicator for “Temperature” will light up. The display screen will show 240. The default operating temperature level is at 240°C. The temperature level can be adjusted by “-” or “+” for desired temperature level. Temperature settings: 60 – 240°C

  5. To prevent children from adjusting the appliance accidently or changing cooking settings, touch the lock function icon, the red light indicator for “Lock” will light up and the appliance will not respond to touch on any function except On / Off. To turn off the “Lock” function, touch and hold for 3 seconds.

  6. After selecting the power or temperature function, continue to touch the “Timer” function icon, the red light indicator for “Timer” will light up and the display screen will flash and show “00:00 “. Adjust the desired minutes by turning the control knob for timer settings from “0:01” minute to “3:00” hours.
    Note : The appliance will automatic turn-off without any operation within 2 hours.

  7. To cancel any of the selected cooking function, touch the “ON/OFF” icon.

  8. After cooking has finished, power off the appliance and unplug the appliance.

TROUBLESHOOTING

This device will detect and display on screen if functional disorder. It is solely protected by its return circuit sensor.

Utensil Not Placed

| 1.    Please check whether the pot is centrally placed on the cooking plate.

2.    Please check is the utensil are suitable to be use.

3.    Please check whether the bottom diameter of the pot is less than 12cm

4.    If you remove the utensil when cooking, the appliance will have buzzer sounds and turn-off

automatically after 1 minute.

Over Current Protection / IGBT Sensor Fault

| 1.    Please check whether the ambient temperature is too high.

2.    Please check the exhaust fan slots is blocked and let the appliance to cool down before power on again.

3.    Power off the appliance and unplug from the wall outlet. Connect the plug to the wall outlet again and power on. If the display screen still show “ E1 ” error code, please send the appliance to the nearest service centre or a similar qualified person for

checking.

Temperature Sensor at Fault / Utensil Overheated /

Glass Plate Overheated

| 1.    This appliance equipped with overheating protection, if the utensil or glass plate too hot, the appliance will switch-off automatically for safety protection.

2.    If the display screen show “E2” with buzzer sounds, please power off the appliance and wait for some time to cool down the appliance. After that, the appliance will operate back to normal.

3.    For cooking under long-time, please use the

temperature function to avoid overheating.

Supply Voltage Unusual

| 1.    Please check whether the appliance has reached the preset Power / Temperature settings.

2.    Please check whether the power is cut off.

MAINTENANCE AND CARE

  1. Please unplug the plug from the power socket after use.
  2. Wait until the appliance completely cools down and wipe the appliance body, cooking plate and control panel with soft and wet cloth. Neutral cleanser may use for firm oil stain, and then wipe the remained residue with soft and wet cloth.
  3. Never rinse the appliance directly with water or immerse it in water.
