ECRC-M1026 Commercial Rice Cooker
Please read this manual carefully before operating your set.
Retain it for future reference. Record the model number and a serial number of
the set.
See the label attached on the set and quote this information to your dealer
when you require service.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using your electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:
- Read all instructions carefully.
- Do not touch hot surfaces, use handles or knobs.
- To protect against electrical shock do not immerse the cord, plugs, or main body in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children.
- Unplug from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Mow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination. repair, or adjustment.
- The use of accessory attachments is not recommended by the appliance manufacturer and may cause injury .
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or heated oven.
- Extreme caution is a must when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other liquids.
- Always attach the plug to the cooker first, and then plug the cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to “off then remove the plug from the wall outlet.
- Do not use appliances for other than intended use.
- The appliance must not be immersed in water.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord or assembly available from the manufacturer or its service agent.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- Save these instructions for future reference.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
Please read this instruction carefully before using the appliance.
CAUTIONS TO READ BEFORE USING RICE COOKER:
- Only use this product with the correct AC voltage outlet.(Correct rated voltage is labeled at the bottom of the rice cooker.)
- Be sure to unplug the AC cord when the pan is not in the cooker, or when the cooker is not being used. Remember the “KEEP WARM” feature operates whenever the cord is plugged in
- Place the inner pot inside the cooker before operating. Turn the pot gently to right and left.
- If the switch button is difficult to press to the “cook” position, do not try to force it down. This difficulty usually occurs when the inner pot is fully inserted in the cooker or when cooking has just finished.
- Place the lid on your inner pot while cooking, and keep the lid in place after serving to prevent your rice from drying out or discoloring.
- Keep the bottom of the inner pot and the surface of the heater plate free to prevent operating malfunctions.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
- Remove the inner pot and lid and wash them in hot soapy water, taking care to rinse completely, then dry with a soft cloth.
- Clean the outside of the cooker with a clean damp cloth. Never clean any part of the cooker with an abrasive cleaner. Use a damp cloth or sponge with water and mild dish detergent. Do not submerge any part of the cooker in water. Wash only the inner pot and lid.
- To clean the heating plate and thermo-control plate, use steel wool to polish or remove any residue. Then wipe with a damp cloth. Allow drying completely before re-using. You must keep the heating plate and thermo-control plate free from any foreign objects, otherwise, the cooker will not operate properly.
- Improper cleaning of the cooker may cause unpleasant odors.
- Any residue to the vinegar or salt may cause the pan to corrode.
HOW TO USE

Using the measuring cup provided in the package, measure and add rice to the inner pot.

By measuring cup, add the amount of water to the rice inside the inner pot according to the following standard:

Set the inner pot in the cooker. Place rice and water in the inner pot. Close the lid firmly. Turn the pan gently to right and left. Close the cover firmly.

Plug in the power cord. Do not plug in until ready to cook. Otherwise, rice may be spoiled. If the pot is not in the cooker, cooking will not begin.

Press the switch. ” cook” indicator tells you cooking has started.

When rice is done, the switch will pop up. After the switch pops up, leave covered for at least 15 minutes to steam the rice.

Unplug after each use. Grasp the plug, not the cord.

When you stew, the water level should not be more than 70% of the volume.
