How To Operate Water Dispenser

  • To protect against electric shock.
    • Do not immerse base.cord or plug in water or other liquid.
  • Do not place the Water Dispenser on unstable surfaces.
  • Only fill with pure water (not milk or anything similar.)ELBA-EWD-Q2533D-Water-Dispenser-fig-3
  • Do not fill the Water Dispenser above the maximum level mark inside the tank or lower than the minimum level to avoid damage to the product.
  • Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner , or a heated oven.

OPERATING THE APPLIANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME

  • Wash and rinse water tank with water.
  • Fill water up to full mark.
  • Boil once and discard the water (press the dispense button).

HOW TO FILL THE WATER INTO GLASS WATER POT

  • Set Water Dispenser on table top. Open top lid and fill water to desired capacity.

Noted

  • Always fill water above the minimum mark but below the maximum water level line indicator.
  • Do not wet the machine body when adding water.

CLOSE THE TOP COVER

  • Please close the top cover completely. (Hot water may splash out and cause burns.)
  • Do not cover the steam hole on the cover block, so as to avoid danger.

HOW TO CONNECT THE POWER

  • Connect the power plug to the machine socket.
  • Connect another power plug to the power socket.

Noted

  • Do not switch on. When the container is empty
  • When rotating the body, be careful that the power cord does not get in the way.
HOW TO START BOILING WATER

Choose REBOIL mode

  1. Press on “POWER” button for 3 seconds.
  2. Press on “REBOIL” button
    • The default temperature is 45℃.Press again to adjust the temperature between 40 – 100℃. Wait for the light flashes for 3 times, then the water dispenser starts to heat. When water is heated to 100℃ the water dispenser will work for 2 minutes intermittently. When the temperature drops to the set temperature the water dispenser will enter into the preservation state.The heat preservation time is 24 hours, it will auto turn off after 24 hours. The heat preservation period will calculate based on the last operate time.

Choose TEMPERATURE mode

  1. Press on “POWER” button for 3 seconds.
  2. Press on “TEMPERATURE” button
    • The default temperature is 45℃.Press again to adjust the temperature between 40 -100℃. Wait the light flashes for 3 times, then the water dispenser starts to heat. When water is heated to the set temperature the water dispenser will enter into the preservation state. The heat preservation time is 24 hours, it will auto turn off after 24 hours. The heat preservation period will calculate based on the last operate time.

COMPLETE BOILING AND HOW TO DISPENSE WATER

  • Press the “CHILD LOCK” button to unlock, and the water unlock indicator lights up, Press the “DISPENSER” button to dispense water.
  • Adjustable DISPENSE button able to set 5 to 30seconds with every 5 seconds interval. (5、10、15、20、25、30 seconds can choose.)

Notes:

  1. If no water function is used within 10 seconds, the key lock will be locked automatically.
  2. If the water is boiling for a period of time without use, air bubbles may enter the electric pump and lead to no water. Please open the upper cover at this time to eliminate this problem.

DRY BOIL PREVENTION FUNCTION

If there is no water in the water dispenser the anti-dry boil prevention function will be started within 1 minute to avoid the danger caused by overheating. If dry burning occurs or the water volume is too low for a long time, it may cause discoloration and peculiar smell in the inner container. Therefore, please always pay attention to whether the water level in the water dispenser is too low.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Unplug the power plug before cleaning, pour out the remaining water, and cool down the water dispenser before cleaning.

  • Cleaning and maintenance
    • About the discoloration and white floating matter in the bottle
    • The discoloration of red rust spots (with rust)/milky white/black and white floating objects are caused by the mineral composition of water, not the discoloration and corrosion of the inner bottle itself. Although there is no problem in hygiene, it should be cleaned regularly.
  • Inner bottle/inner cover
    • Wash with soft foam sponge and rinse with water.
    • Depending on the water quality used and the number of boiling times, the degree of contamination will vary. Please clean it carefully. The inner bottle should be cleaned once a month with citric acid.
  • When the inner bottle is stained with dirt such as scale and left unattended, the boiling sound will become louder, or it will become difficult to get out of the water. Please clean it carefully.
    1. Never clean the whole body (otherwise, it may cause failure)
    2. Never splash water on the operation panel (otherwise, it may cause failure)
  • Top cover and bottle body
    • Wipe with a wrung-out rag Never clean the whole or splash water on the operation panel. Do not put this product upside down for drying. (Otherwise, it may cause internal water inflow, failure and rust)
