Product Usage Instructions

1. Set Up / Assembly
2. Connect the battery: Follow the assembly instructions to connect the battery. Ensure that the two halves of the battery connector are pushed together tightly.
3. Add oil: Refer to the assembly instructions for adding engine oil. Use 10W-30 oil and do not overfill.
4. Move the generator outdoors: Take the generator to an open, outdoor area. Make sure the exhaust is pointed away from any structures. Keep all objects at least 5 feet (1.5m) away from the generator to prevent the ignition of combustible materials.
5. Add fuel: Follow the assembly instructions to add fuel. Do not use E15 or E85 fuel.
6. Start-Up / Start
7. Wireless Start: Ensure the battery switch is in the ON position and turn the EZ Start dial to the full ON position. Press and release the START button on the remote key fob.
8. Electric Start: Make sure the battery switch is ON and turn the EZ Start dial to the full ON position. Push the choke button, then press and hold the ignition switch on the EZ Start Dial.
9. Manual Start: Set the battery switch to ON and turn the EZ Start dial to the full ON position. Push the choke button, then pull the recoil to start the engine.

Set-Up

1. Open shipping carton.

   • Assembly
   • Unpacking

2. Shipping Support.

   • Assembly
     Remove Shipping Support Hardware.

3. Connect the battery. Assembly > Connect the Battery.

   • Push two halves of the battery connector together tightly.

4. Add oil. Assembly > Add Engine Oil.
   Recommended: 10W-30, up to 16.9 fl. oz. (500 ml) DO NOT overfill.

5. Move the generator outdoors.

   • Move the generator to an open, outdoor area. Point exhaust away. Never run a generator in enclosed areas (e.g., not in the house or garage).
   • Keep all objects at least 5 feet (1.5 m) from the generator. The heat from the muffler and exhaust gas can ignite combustible materials.

Start-Up

1. Add fuel. Assembly > Add Fuel
   • DO NOT use E15 or E85.
2. DO NOT plug in any electrical devices.
   • NEVER START OR STOP THE GENERATOR WITH ELECTRICAL DEVICES CONNECTED OR TURNED ON!
3. Wireless Start
4. Push the battery switch to the “ON” position.
5. Turn the EZ Start dial to the full “ON” position.
6. Press and release the “START” button on the remote key fob.
7. Electric Start
8. Push the battery switch to the “ON” position.
9. Turn the EZ Start dial to the full “ON” position.
10. Push the choke button.
11. Press and hold ignition switch on EZ Start Dial.
12. Push the choke button.
13. Manual Start
14. Push the battery switch to the “ON” position.
15. Turn the EZ Start dial to the full “ON” position.
16. Push the choke button.
17. Pull the recoil to start the engine.
18. Push the choke button.
19. Plug in. Operation > Connecting Electrical Loads.
