Product Usage Instructions
- Set the dip switches located on the side of the interface box. These switches control the behavior of the interface.
- If the interface fails to recognize the CANbus signal and the screen does not switch to the camera view when engaging reverse gear, manually switch it by connecting the orange wire to the car’s reverse light and turning pin 8 on. Note that in this case, CAN bus generated guidelines will not be available.
- For installation, remove the original radio and screen.
- Connect the original LVDS cable from the screen to the interface box and connect the new cable back to the screen.
- Connect the harness to the back of the radio module.
- If you have an 8.8″ or 10″ screen and want to adjust the guidelines, follow these steps:
- Set Dip switches 4 and 6 to “on”.
- Engage reverse gear.
- Press the Menu button for more than 20 seconds.
- Rotate the i-Drive to move the guideline’s horizontal position.
- Press the Menu button again for more than 20 seconds.
- Rotate the i-Drive to move the guideline’s vertical position.
- To save the changes, exit reverse gear and reset the dip switches.

Set the dip switches
These are on the side of the interface box .
If for some reason the interface does not recognize the CANbus signal and the
screen does not switch to camera on engaging reverse ,then you can manually
switch it by connecting the orange wire to cars reverse light. And turning pin
8 on. In this instance you will not get any CAN bus generated guidelines).

Guideline adjustment
8.8 and 10” screens only
- set Dip 4 and 6 ton on
- Engage reverse gear
- Press Menu button for more than 20 seconds
- Rotate i-Drive to move guideline horizontal position
- Press Menu for more than 20s again
- Rotate i-Drive to move vertical position
- To save exit reverse gear and reset dip switches
Compatibility– This interface is for NBT standard and NBT evo ID4 systems only. Use 27-572 for NBT evo systems ID 5 and ID6.
