SEALEY CST983.V2 Sack Truck
Product Information:
Sack Trucks
The Sack Trucks are available in different models with the following model
numbers: CST983.V2, CST986.V2, CST987.V2, CST988.V3. These trucks are
manufactured by Sealey and are made to a high standard, ensuring years of
trouble-free performance when
used correctly and maintained properly.
Safety
- Always load the truck evenly with the center of gravity of the load as near the center and rear of the plate as possible.
- For large or wide loads, obtain additional support to prevent tipping.
- Do not overload the truck. Refer to the specification for the maximum capacity.
- Do not leave the truck unattended, especially when loaded, unless the wheels are chocked or the truck is otherwise secured.
- Avoid using the truck on uneven ground, curbs, or steps. Use a ramp instead.
- Do not allow others to ride on the truck.
- Do not use the truck if any part is damaged, especially the wheels.
Introduction
The Sack Trucks feature a strong tubular steel construction with welded joints. They have heavy-duty wheels with steel inserts for added strength and durability. The trucks can be rested on their handles for flat loading and are fitted with rubber handgrips.

Assembly
- Ensure the axle is clean from dust and dirt to allow free movement of the wheel.
- For Model No’s. CST987.V2 and CST988.V3, put the axle through the frame before attaching the wheels.
- Slide the wheel onto the axle, put on the washer, and complete by pushing the split pin through the hole in the end of the axle and bending it over to retain. Repeat for the other side.
Features
- Model CST983.V2 has solid tires.
- Models CST986.V2, CST987.V2, & CST988.V3 have pneumatic tires.
- CST983 can be rested on its handles for flat loading.
- CST988 is a case carrying model with a high back, ‘P’ handle, and flat loading capabilities.

Environment Protection
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools,
accessories, and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling center, and
disposed of in a manner compatible with the environment. When the product

ASSEMBLY
WHEELS
- Ensure axle is clean from dust and dirt to allow free movement of the wheel.
- For Model No’s. CST987.V2 and CST988.V3 the axle (fig.1.1) needs to be put through the frame before the wheels can be attached. 4.1.3. Slide the wheel (fig.1.2) onto the axle, put on the washer (fig.1.3) and complete by pushing the split pin (fig.1.4) through the hole in the end of the axle and bending over to retain.
- Repeat for the other side.
